중복도형 인텔리전트빌딩 화재시 연기제어를 통한 피난안전성 확보에 관한 연구 (A Study on Securing Safety of Evacuation through Smoke Control in Case of Fire at the Central Corridor Type Intelligent Buildings)

  • This study investigated the smoke blocking and control systems for the safety of residents evacuation and for the prevention of smoke spread through the central corridor in the event of central corridor type of intelligent building fire. We offered additional ways of utilizing smoke ventilators and intake ventilation equipment and utilized CFD-based fire simulation program(FDS Ver.5.5.3) in order to analyze the effect. As a result, many differences in the smoke block effect, depending on the application of smoke ventilator and location of installation, was found. In addition, the result was found that larger effect was showed not in the case of application of smoke ventilator in central corridor only but application in fire room. The reason is that the smoke leakage is blocked primarily as air is flowed in the fire room through open door by operation of intake smoke ventilator in the public corridor and secondarily, the smoke leakage to the public corridor could be blocked as fire and smoke were released to the opened smoke ventilator continuously. Especially, the effect was maximized through complex interactions by applying smoke ventilator and intake ventilation equipment in corridor together rather than applying smoke ventilator and intake ventilation equipment independently. The proposed measure through this study shall be considered from architectural plan as one of ways for blocking from smoke spread to the central corridor in the central corridor type of intelligent building. In addition, flaws on regulation shall be established and supplemented.

  • A hierarchical motion control system for animation of 3D human character is implemented using the motion database in realtime. The proposed motion control system consists of coordination controller for gait timing and balancing of walking motion, joint servo controller for realistic limb movement, and motion database for goal-directed character animation which makes time-consuming animation relatively easy task. As one example among the various applications of the proposed motion control system. We present a simple virtual reality system in which the motion control system plays a central role in generating realistic motion of virtual human character.

  • A practical application of a fuzzy control system is described for an air-conditioning system. Air-hadling units are being widely used for improving the performance of central air-conditioning systems. The fuzzy control system has two controlled variables, temperature and humidity, and three control elements, cooling, heating, and humidification. In order to achieve high efficiency and economical control, especially in large offices and industrial buildings, two controllable parameters, temperature and humidity, must be adequately controlled by the three final controlling elements. In this paper a fuzzy control system was described for controlling air-conditioning systems efficiently and economically.

  • A practical application of a fuzzy-neuro controller is described for an air-conditioning system. The fuzzy-neuro control system has two controlled variables, temperature and humidity and three control elements, cooling, heating, and humidification. In order to achieve high efficiency and economical contorl, especially in large offices and industrial buildings, two controllable parameters, temperature and humidity, must be adequately controlled by the three final controlling elements. In this paper a fuzzy-neuro control system is described for controlling air-conditioning systems efficiently and economically. Simulation results confirmed that the fuzzy neuro control system is effective for this multivariable system.

평판형 및 아치형 태양광발전 시스템의 성능평가 분석 (The Performance Evaluation Analysis of PV System for Arch and Flat-Plate Type)

  • The studies on the operating performance analysis or design about the fixed tilt angle flat-plate photovoltaic (PV) system are still lively going off. However the operating property analysis about the arch type PV system which means PV array were designed as round type is dissatisfied. In this paper, we theoretically established the factors which are cause of the deterioration in performance of arch type PV system. In addition, we use the Solar Pro simulation tools to design both flat-plate type and arch type 30kW PV systems. The simulations about arch type PV system applied two ways such as central inverter and string inverter were conducted. The performance ratio (PR) of the PV system with flat-plate type shows the highest value 74[%] when the tilt angle is 30°. In case of arch type, when applying central inverter method, PR value shows approximately 73[%] and no more difference with arch type of the PV array. This value shows 1[%] decrease compare with the flat-plate type. However when applying string inverter methods, the average PR value shows 80 % and 6% improved than the central inverter method.

A New Control Strategy for Input Voltage Sharing in Input Series Output Independent Modular DC-DC Converters

  • Input series output independent (ISOI) dc-dc converter systems are suitable for high voltage input and multiple output applications with low voltage rating switches. This paper proposes a novel control strategy consisting of one output voltage regulating (OVR) control loop and n-1 (n is the number of modules in the ISOI system) input voltage sharing (IVS) control loops. An ISOI system with the proposed control strategy can be applied to applications where the output loads of each module are the same. Under these conditions, IVS can be achieved and output voltages copying can be realized in an ISOI system. In this control strategy there is only one controller for each module and the design process of the control loops is simple. Since no central controller is needed in the system, modularity of the system is improved. The operation principle of the new control strategy is introduced and the control effect is simulated. Then the output power and voltage characteristics of an ISOI system under this new control strategy are analyzed. The stability of the proposed control strategy is explored base on a Hurwitz criterion, and the design guide line of the control strategy is given. A two module ISOI system prototype is fabricated and tested in the laboratory. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

공기압 시스템 제어를 위한 데이터 전송시스템 설계 (Design of A Data Transmission System for Pneumatic System Control)

  • For Pneumatic system control, we need a data transmission system with high speed and high realibility for information interchange between main computer and solenoid valves and I/O devices. This paper presents a set of design techniques for a data communication system that is mainly used for pneumatic system control. For this purpose, we first designed hardware modules for an interface between central control module and local node that handles the operation of solenoid valves. In addition we developed a communication protocol for construction of RS-485 based multidrop network, and this protocol is basically designed with a kind of polling technique. Finally we evaluated performance of the developed system. The field test results show that, even under high noise environment, the data transmission of 375Kbps rate is possible up to 1,000m without using repeater. In addition, the system developed in this research is proved to be used easily for extension of a communication network because of its module structure.

조선시대 금화시책(禁火施策)의 전개과정에 관한 연구 - 금화정책, 금화계획, 금화사업, 금화시설을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Progression of Fire Control Policies in Joseon Dynasty - Regal & Administrative System, Planning Tools, Works and Facilities -)

  • 도시 전체가 화재에 취약한 구조를 가지고 있었던 조선시대 화재는 많은 재산피해와 인명피해를 가져왔지만, 다른 한편으로 화재를 예방하고 피해를 최소화하기 위한 다양한 정책과 계획수법, 기술과 시설들이 발달하는 계기가 되었다. 본 연구는 화재와 관련한 정책, 계획, 건축, 구조물 시설물 등을 중심으로 조선시대 전반에 걸쳐 이루어진 금화시책의 흐름을 파악하고자 하는 목적을 지니고 있다. 조선시대의 금화시책은 그 목적에 따라 화재예방을 위한 비보풍습(裨補風習)과 비화(備火)시책, 화재 확산을 막기 위한 경계(境界)시책, 화재를 끄기 위한 멸화(滅火)시책, 구화(救火)시책 등으로 구분된다. 조선시대에 이루어진 금화시책은 크게 3단계로 구분된다. 먼저 태종대로부터 문종대에 이르는 시기로, 이 시기에는 행정 및 사법체제 정비, 금화행정, 금화계획, 금화사업, 금화기구 개발 등 다양한 측면에서 금화정책이 시행되고 있다. 제2단계는 기와를 공급하는 관아가 소멸되는 단종대부터 현종대에 이르는 시기로, 부분적인 금화사업을 중심으로 금화정책이 진행되고 있다. 제3단계는 숙종대부터 순종대에 이르는 시기로 금화사업보다는 금화기구 개발을 중심으로 금화정책이 진행되고 있다.

소형궤도 차량 제어를 위한 모의실험 장치 설계 (A Design of a Simulation Apparatus for the Control of the Personal Rapid Transit(PRT) Vehicles)

  • This paper presents a design of a simulation apparatus to evaluate an operational control algorithm for the PRT system. PRT systems require very short headways to increase the line capacity and a very reliable vehicle control algorithm for avoidance of the impact between vehicles. Therefore, it can be said that the development of an reliable operational control algorithm for the PRT systems is much more important than that of the hardware configurations. In this paper an apparatus is proposed which is composed of virtual vehicles, a central control system, a man-machine interface and monitoring device, making it possible for the designed operational control algorithm to be implemented and tested. For the test of the proposed apparatus a test operational control algorithm is designed and the experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed simulation apparatus for test and evaluation of the PRT operational control algorithms.

다수의 무인운송플랫폼 운용을 위한 센서 네트워크 시스템 (Sensor Network System to Operate Multiple Autonomous Transport Platform)

  • This paper presents a sensor network and operation for multiple autonomous navigation platform and transport service. Multiple platform navigate with inside sensors and outside sensors while acquiring and process some useful information. Each platform communicates each other by navigational information through central main server. Efficient sensor network systems are considered for the scenario which some passengers call the service and the vehicle accomplish its transport service by transporting each caller to the destination by autonomous manners. In the scenario, all vehicles perform a role of sensor system to the central server and the server handles each information and integrate with faster procedure in the wireless 3G network.
