This paper proposes a dual-band bandpass filter using stepped-impedance resonators (SIRs) with parallel coupled structures. The proposed filter adopts U-shaped SIRs with parallel coupled lines (PCLs) that have interdigital and comb-line shorted ends. The central PCLs build an upper passband and a transmission zero, and the two U-shaped SIRs build a lower passband. Four resonators and coupling structures are theoretically analyzed to derive its scattering parameters. A novel dual-band bandpass filter is designed and fabricated using the induced scattering characteristics. The measured results show that the fabricated dual-band bandpass filter has an insertion loss of less than 1.02 dB in the lower band of 2.45 GHz and of 3.01 dB in the upper band of 3.42 GHz, and a band-to-band isolation of more than 40 dB, from 3.14 to 3.2 GHz.

Traditionally, in multi-user multi-carrier systems, the neighboring subband will be gapped by one subcarrier, which is set as guard band to reduce multiple access interference (MAI) between neighboring subbands. The empty subcarrier for guard band will degrade the spectral efficiency of the whole system. In order to enhance the spectral efficiency of multi-user filter bank multiple carrier (FBMC) systems, a new subband allocation method is introduced, in which the neighboring subband is gapped by half subcarrier instead of one subcarrier. Meanwhile, in order to implement the proposed resource allocation scheme, an optimized FBMC prototype filter is designed to decrease the inter-subband interference to the neighboring subband. The detailed simulations about the comparison between the proposed spectrum assignment and traditional FBMC are given, as well as the performance in the different interference scenarios. The simulation results show that the combination of the proposed spectrum assignment scheme and the optimized filter has better performance compared to the traditional scheme. The proposed scheme can be used in the system which serves massive users to get higher spectrum efficiency.
A review of the literature was presented, illustrating the effect that gingivally retained orthodontic elastic bands have on the periodontal tissues. A case report was presented for treatment of mobile maxillary central incisors secondary to a subgingival elastic band. Following surgical removal of elastic band and periodontal debridement, the teeth were successfully retained with active orthodontic appliances. Until a harmless radiopaque medium can be safely incorporated into elastic bands, extreme caution in their use should be observed. Not only should all attempts be made to anchor the elastic bands to the clinical crown, but the patient should receive through instructions in their placement and removal.
The characteristics of plantlets redifferentiated from calli of F1 hybrid between Panax ginseng and Panax quinquefolius were investigated. Growth of plantlets redifferentiated from F1 hybrid was superior to the plants redifferentiated from Korean ginseng. Stem color of plantlets redifferentiated from F1 hybrid was more purple than that from Korean ginseng and leaf color of the former was also greener than that of the latter. Chunpoong, Yunpoong and Seonweon which are belonged to Korean ginseng showed same PCR band(A), while American ginseng showed different PCR band (B) in Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) region. F1 hybrid exhibited both A and B PCR band which belonged to Korean ginseng and American ginseng, respectively. F1 hybrid calli and plantlets redifferentiated from F1 hybrid calli showed same PCR band with that of F1 hybrid plant in ITS region. Therefore it was confirmed that piantlets redifferentiated from F1 hybrid exhibited genetic stability in ITS region.

This paper describes the design of band-pass filter using the dielectric resonator and microstrip line depends mainly upon the magnetic field and is principal parameter as band-pass filter. Because dielectric resonator band~pass filter has a very high-Q, the bandwidth of this filter is very narrow. as a result of experiment, the dielectric resonator bandwidth of this filter is very narrow. As a result of experiment, the dielectric resonator band-pase filter has various modes central frequencies due to the mode change and good characteristric as a band-pass filter.
The study aims to a design hybrid frequency synthesizer in spectrum analyzer and to propose new techniques designed for evasion of in-band spurious. The study focuses on calculating the exact location of multiple phase locked loop of hybrid frequency synthesizer and spurious of direct digital synthesizer to evade in-band spurious outside of frequency range that the user wants to see and thereby simulating technique to improve input related spurious of spectrum analyzer for algorithm. The proposed technique is designed to calculate spurious evasion algorithm in central processing system when in-band spurious arises, and to move output frequency of DDS(direct digital synthesizer) into the place where no in-band spurious exists thereby improving performance of frequency synthesizer. The study used simulation and result representation to prove the effectiveness of the proposed technique.

Gummy stem blight pathogen is very difficult not only to monitor the inoculum levels prior to host infection, and also it is destructive and hard to control in field condition. We have applied RAPD technique to elucidate the genetic diversity of the genomic DNA of Didymella bryoniae and also to generate specific diagnostic DNA probe useful for identification and detection. The 40 primers produced clear bands consistently from the genomic DNA of twenty isolates of Didymella bryoniae, and two hundred seventy-three amplified fragments were produced with 40 primers. The combined data from 273 bands was analyzed by a cluster analysis using UPGMA method with an arithmetic average program of NTSYS-PC (Version 1.80) to generate a dendrogram. At the distance level of 0.7, two major RAPD groups were differentiated among 20 strains. RAPD group (RG) I included 8 isolates from watermelon except one isolate from melon. RAPD group (RG) IV included 12 isolates from squash, cucumber, watermelon and melon.. In amplification experiment with SCAR specific primer RG1F-RG1R resulted in a single band of 650bp fragment only for 8 isolates out of 20 isolates that should be designated as RAPD Group 1. However, same set of experiment done with RGIIF-RGIIR did not result in any amplified product.. Our attempts to detect intraspecific diversity of ITS region of rDNA by amplifying ITS region and 17s rDNA region for 20 isolates and restriction digestion of amplified fragment with 12 enzymes did not reveal polymorphic band. In order to develop RAPD markers for RGIV specific primer, a candidate PCR fragment( ≒1.4kb) was purified and Southern hybridized to the amplified fragment RGIV isolates. This promising candidate probe recognized only RGIV isolates
In order to study properties of the pulsation in the infrared emission for long period variables, we collect and analyze the infrared observational data at L band for 12 OH/IR. The observation data cover about three decades including recent data from the ISO and Spitzer. We use the Marquardt-Levenberg algorithm to determine the pulsation period and amplitude for each star and compare them with results of previous investigations at infrared and radio bands. We obtain the relationship between the pulsation periods and the amplitudes at L band. Contrary to the results at K band, there is no difference of the trends in the short and long period regions of the period-luminosity relation at L band. This may be due to the molecular absorption effect at K band. The correlations among the L band parameters, IRAS [12-25] colors, and K band parameters may be explained as results of the dust shell parameters affected by the stellar pulsation. The large scatter of the correlation could be due to the existence of a distribution of central stars with various masses and pulsation modes.
Reverberation mapping is one of the best way to investigate structure and kinematics of broad-line regions around central supermassive black holes of active galactic nuclei (AGN). It is usually used to estimate masses of supermassive black holes. So far, reverberation mapping studies have achieved good results for dozens of AGN by spectroscopic monitoring. However, spectroscopic monitoring is time consuming and high cost. Here, we present result of photometric reverberation mapping with medium-band observation. We monitored five nearby AGN which are already studied, have short time-lag, and show bright H-alpha emission lines. Observation has been performed for ~3 months with ~3 days cadence using three medium-band filters installed in LSGT (Lee Sang Gak Telescope). We found 0.01-0.06 magnitude variations by differential photometry. Also time-lags between continuum light-curves and H-alpha emission line light-curves are calculated using Javelin software. The result shows that our study and previous studies are consistent within uncertainty range. From verification of availability in this study, photometric reverberation mapping could be used as a powerful tool to measure central supermassive black holes for large samples and high-redshift AGN in the future.
By using the liquid -phase-deposition (LPD) process, which has a potetnial of preparing organic inorganic composite materials, samples doped with benzo[f]quinoline (BfQ)into silica thia films wre prepared. We observed the fluorescene and fluorescene excitation spectra of the samples, as well as the fluorescence lifetimes and time-resoluved fluorescence spectra. The comparison of thefluorescence spectra in pH-controlled buffer solutions yields the results that the dominant species of BfQ in the LPD silica films is a protonated one. The fluorescence band assigned to a hydrogen-bonded species was observed on the samples prepared from the dipping solutions of 3 and 2 M hexafluorosilicic acid. The band assignment was confirmed by the fluorescence lifetime measurement. The FT-IR M hexaflurosilicic acid. The band assignment was confirmed by the flurescence lifetime meausurement. The FT-IR data proved the existence of included water in silica films prepared from the LPD process. The appearance of the band corresponding to the hydrogen-bonded species within LPD silica phases was explained by the proesence of included water. Depending on the preparation conditions of LPD silica films, the band assigned to protonated species shows bad shifts in a wavenumber region between the peak of hydrogen-bonded and typical protonated species. This implies that there is some distribution of steric conformation of protonated species of BfQ interacting with adsorbing sites of LPD silica. The time -resolved fluorescence spectra suggest that some relaxation process is involved in the conformation of BfQ doped into the solid phase of LPD silica.
