다학제 분야 학술지의 주제어 동시발생 네트워크를 활용한 기술예측 연구 (A Study on Technology Forecasting based on Co-occurrence Network of Keyword in Multidisciplinary Journals)

  • Keyword indexed in multidisciplinary journals show trends about science and technology innovation. Nature and Science were selected as multidisciplinary journals for our analysis. In order to reduce the effect of plurality of keyword, stemming algorithm were implemented. After this process, we fitted growth curve of keyword (stem) following bass model, which is a well-known model in diffusion process. Bass model is useful for expressing growth pattern by assuming innovative and imitative activities in innovation spreading. In addition, we construct keyword co-occurrence network and calculate network measures such as centrality indices and local clustering coefficient. Based on network metrics and yearly frequency of keyword, time series analysis was conducted for obtaining statistical causality between these measures. For some cases, local clustering coefficient seems to Granger-cause yearly frequency of keyword. We expect that local clustering coefficient could be a supportive indicator of emerging science and technology.

  • 무형자산의 가치에 대한 중요성이 대두되면서 이를 측정하는 것에 관한 다양한 연구가 진행되었다. 그러나 미디어 산업의 빠른 성장에도 불구하고 해당 산업 내 캐릭터 가치를 정량적으로 평가하는 데 많은 어려움이 존재한다. 최근에는 소셜 네트워크 분석 (Social Network Analysis) 방법론이 미디어 사용자의 행태를 분석하는 데 유용하게 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 SNS 데이터를 통하여 미디어 작품의 캐릭터 네트워크 특징과 인간의 검색 행위 사이의 상관 관계를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 미디어 작품의 캐릭터 네트워크 중심성 척도와 검색 데이터 간 유의미한 상관 관계 및 인과성이 확인되었다. 본 연구 결과는 캐릭터 네트워크가 캐릭터 자산의 가치평가를 위한 단서로서 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

청소년의 사회적 네트워크에서의 지위(social standing)가 온라인 사회적 활동(social activity)에 미치는 영향 연구 (Influence of Social Standing of Adolescents to Social Activity on Online)

  • 본 연구는 청소년들의 온라인 사회적 활동에 있어 이들이 오프라인에서 형성하고 있는 사회적 네트워크에서의 지위가 어떤 특성을 나타내는지를 살펴보고 이러한 사회적 지위가 온라인에서의 사회적 활동에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 청소년들이 오프라인에서 형성하고 있는 사회적 네트워크에서의 지위를 개인 네트워크와 학교 네트워크로 나누어 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 개인 네트워크에서는 사회적 지위를 나타내는 사회적 유대와 사교성이 활동성과 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 학교 네트워크의 사회적 지위를 나타내는 중앙성 지표인 인접중앙성과 매개중앙성은 활동성과 상관관계가 존재하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 청소년의 개인 네트워크에서는 사회적 유대가 클수록, 사교성이 클수록 온라인의 활동 깊이가 높고 온라인의 활동 넓이도 높은 것으로 나타났다.

포탈의 검색 트렌드를 활용한 인천공항 출국자 수 예측 연구 (Search Trend's Effects On Forecasting the Number of Outbound Passengers of the Incheon Airport)

  • 공항의 안정적인 운영을 위하여 승객의 단기예측은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 인천공항의 출입국자 예측을 위하여 출입국자의 대부분을 차지하는 한국인과 중국인의 출국자의 예측 모델링을 수행하였다. 예측 모델링 정확도 향상을 위해 네이버와 바이두 검색 트렌드 데이터를 활용하였다. 출국자 수들과 관련 검색 트렌드 데이터 간 Granger Causality 테스트를 수행하여 상관관계가 있음을 확인하였다. "출국자 수" 단독으로 예측하는 것보다 "출국자 수"와 "검색어 트렌드" 자료를 합하여 예측하는 것이 정확도가 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. 이는 검색이 어떤 일을 수행하기 전에 하는 행위이기 때문이고, 검색 트렌드 데이터 내에 태생적으로 예측 기재가 존재함을 본 연구를 통하여 확인할 수 있었다.

Causal Inference Network of Genes Related with Bone Metastasis of Breast Cancer and Osteoblasts Using Causal Bayesian Networks

  • Background: The causal networks among genes that are commonly expressed in osteoblasts and during bone metastasis (BM) of breast cancer (BC) are not well understood. Here, we developed a machine learning method to obtain a plausible causal network of genes that are commonly expressed during BM and in osteoblasts in BC. Methods: We selected BC genes that are commonly expressed during BM and in osteoblasts from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. Bayesian Network Inference with Java Objects (Banjo) was used to obtain the Bayesian network. Genes registered as BC related genes were included as candidate genes in the implementation of Banjo. Next, we obtained the Bayesian structure and assessed the prediction rate for BM, conditional independence among nodes, and causality among nodes. Furthermore, we reported the maximum relative risks (RRs) of combined gene expression of the genes in the model. Results: We mechanistically identified 33 significantly related and plausibly involved genes in the development of BC BM. Further model evaluations showed that 16 genes were enough for a model to be statistically significant in terms of maximum likelihood of the causal Bayesian networks (CBNs) and for correct prediction of BM of BC. Maximum RRs of combined gene expression patterns showed that the expression levels of UBIAD1, HEBP1, BTNL8, TSPO, PSAT1, and ZFP36L2 significantly affected development of BM from BC. Conclusions: The CBN structure can be used as a reasonable inference network for accurately predicting BM in BC.

  • As the knowledge is recognized as a core factor of organization's competitiveness and creation of value added, the importance of knowledge management is also increased. To achieve the successful knowledge management, it is important to establish strategy that consider essential purpose of knowledge management such as creating and sharing of knowledge resource, improving performance, and continuing organizational innovation within the organization and influence factor inside and outside of organization. Until now, however, the research for knowledge management strategy was mostly limited to the statistical analysis based on the unilinear causality model, and systematic access and analysis that consider interaction and feedback structure between factors. In this paper, we developed the novel decision-making framework for successful strategy establishment by applying the analytic network process(ANP). Specifically. we derive clusters and components to decide the interaction and feedback structure between the elements of knowledge management by literature studies. And we produced relative importance and preference of clusters, components and alternatives dealing with feedback structure through the survey of experts in the field or related one of knowledge management. In result of this study, we expect that it will help the knowledge officer to decide establishing knowledge management strategy.

본드선도를 이용한 동적시스템의 해석적 종합방법 (An Analytical Synthesis Method of Dynamic Systems in Terms of Bond Graphs)

  • This paper presents an attempt to find the physical structure of dynamic systems which achieves the behavior of a given system function. The scheme pursued by the paper would be regarded as synthesizing dynamic systems, and a method to synthesize them analytically is proposed by means of bond graph prototypes. The method adopts several conceptsused to synthesize networks in the electrical field, but yet deconstrates its own strengths such as the freedom from assigning causality and determining junction types. Also, itis shown that this method has further advantages in reticulating a given specification into feedforward and feedback components relative to network synthesis and the method is examined though an example to trace the outline of the analytical synthesis of dynamic systems using bond graph prototypes.

  • Recently, the size and complexity of the system we have to develop and to deal with are expanding quickly. Because of the great size of causally related network in itself, such a system will be very difficult to deal with based on the typical reduction model. One of alternatives for this is to adopt emergence-based paradigm instead of reduction-based paradigm. The first is based on the low level causality and the latter on the high level emergence. In this paper we proposed an emergence-based object model realizable in terms of engineering. It is the abstracted one from original object model using of such concepts as performance function, interest function and emotional layer. The suggested model allows us to emerge some important concepts which might be useful for implementing the complex system which can hardly be available by reduction paradigm.

Study on the Structural Causality of Social Network of Luxury Brands

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural causal relationship between the SNS marketing attributes of luxury brands on brand awareness, brand involvement, and brand attachment. Research design, data and methodology: To this end, a survey was conducted on 427 users of large Internet communities and SNS. The results of the empirical analysis are summarized as follows. Results: First, among SNS marketing attributes, information, reliability, and update had a significant positive (+) influence on purchase intention. Second, among SNS marketing attributes, informativity, interaction, playability, and update had a significant positive (+) influence on brand recognition. Reliability, interaction, and update had a significant positive (+) effect on brand involvement. In addition, in brand attachment, playability and up-to-dateness had a significant positive (+) influence. Conclusions: Looking at the causal relationship between brand attitudes, there was a significant positive influence on brand involvement, and a significant positive influence on brand involvement, but the effect of brand awareness on brand attachment was not significant.
