This study examined the state of the UWB frequency band of foreign policy for application to domestic findings. The results confirmed that the UWB frequency can be prescribed mainly for use in a communication service area, unlike foreign countries, such as the United States and Europe for the current technology standard. On the other hand, the expansion of the UWB service area to various fields may appear as interference in the domestic industry protection and enable these rules. Therefore, the UWB frequency should be used in other areas except for broadcast and communication, if the output meets the specified criteria, as in the case of a foreign country. This is thought to be helpful for protecting the domestic industry and activated services.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the cases of endangered species protection campaigns of domestic and foreign enterprises and to present improvement points and direction. Therefore, this study analyzed the cases and characteristics of the campaign by setting above small and medium sized domestic and foreign companies as subjects for research. The study found that there were mainly campaigns conducted in cooperation with large environmental organizations in Korea, and as an IT powerhouse, there were examples of such campaigns. Foreign companies independently participated in environmental protection, and cases of fashion and cosmetic brand campaigns were easily found. Based on these characteristics, this study aims to present improvements and directions for animal protection campaigns in the future.

Chinese courts seem to be indifferent or ignorant of truncated arbitration. In other words, the Chinese court canceled the arbitration award made by truncated arbitration except for the Pingdingsan Case among the four arbitration cases related to the domestic arbitration award reviewed in this paper on the ground that it violated the composition of the arbitral tribunal or the arbitration procedure. A Chinese court has canceled the arbitration award by judging only based on the composition of the arbitral tribunal and the legal process of the violation of the arbitration procedure not by determining whether the domestic arbitration award made by the truncated arbitration meets the conditions for the application of truncated arbitration as stipulated in the Arbitration Rules. Moreover, it seems that the Chinese court made a serious error in the application of the relevant regulations in the Pingdingsan Case, which ruled that the truncated arbitration did not violate the legal process. In this case, the Chinese court admitted truncated arbitration under logic process that it was not necessary to wait until the final hearing to apply the truncated arbitraion because one arbitrator was absent before the final hearing, but the truncated arbitrator had already formed his/her opinion before the absence. However, in the case of Marshall Investment Corporation, a case related to foreign arbitration, the Chinese court rejected the approval and execution of the truncated arbitration award by strictly applying the laws and timing of the truncated arbitration. Since only one case has been identified in the main text, it is difficult to make a definitive judgment, but considering these cases, it seems to be that the Chinese courts apply different standards to domestic and foreign arbitration awards to determine the legality of truncated arbitration.

In this study, the actual states and cases utilizing lake dykes were investigated focusing on large-scale reclamation project in domestic and instances in advanced foreign countries. The attitudes investigation concerning lake dykes utilization was performed to residents in-and-around Saemangeum. According to the research result, in domestic the utilization of lake dyke have not attracted attention because maximizing land use, which was the primary purpose of reclamation project at the early stage, has been emphasized so far. The advanced foreign countries, however, not only make use of farmland, but also develop activities employing lake dykes. According to the result of an analysis for local residents' attitudes, they want to be used Saemangeum lake dykes as a multifunctionality facilities performing a role of environment friendly equipment as well as a breakwater. They also require further investigation and to be introduced new system far utilizing as a multifunctionality facilities. Recently, green tourism is getting attention more and more owing to laying stress on balanced development of country and improvement on life quality of rural residents and launching five days in duty. It is believed that on this favorable trend lake dykes an be employed as a primary tourism resource if its utilization is developed actively.

So far we have investigate and analyzed the actual conditions of building maintenance in Korea and compared the building maintenance laws and systems between Korea and other countries. Now, based on the results from such comparison and analysis, this study proposes the following ideas for improvement: 1) As we can learn from domestic and foreign case studies, in the existing built-up areas becoming obsolete, many building owners remodel their buildings illegally in reaction to current economic and social changes. Therefore, for efficient maintenance of buildings, it is required to improve building maintenance systems by formulating information about inspection items, inspectors, supervisors, inspection costs and intervals of reporting results, depending on how large the buildings are and what they are used for. 2) In addition, to ensure the success of a building maintenance system, it is necessary to keep and manage a history of building maintenance thoroughly and introduce a certification program which gives an appropriate grade to maintenance performance and commits the government to expand their public roles and supporting policies, as widely used in some foreign countries. Further, in keep the building maintenance system secure, there should be a nationwide consensus as well as a favorable evaluation from building owners and manager, and all related people.

This research focuses on the case studies for operating scheme of technology venture incubation centers located at science parks, technology parks, and foreign universities. Technology venture incubation centers in foreign countries commonly vitalize local economy, create job markets, and promote new venture industry. There is a distinct difference in many ways between foreign and domestic incubation centers. Foreign countries consider the position of incubation centers at national policy level. They characterize the operation of incubation centers into technology fields. They install the networks cooperating with experts and promote the management. Tenant companies moved in incubation centers enhance the degree of completion through industry-university cooperation. Universities and research centers utilize the results of R&D to make the business, accelerate to venture establishment with technical skills, and foster technology entrepreneurs by spin-offs. Through case studies we propose implications helpful to manage domestic technology incubation centers and management methods to be successful centers.

This study aims to propose design directions for the eco-friendly, sustainable underground campus in terms of integrated design. For this purpose, theoretical investigation, design methodology and quality investigation, analytical case studies on the domestic and foreign underground campus, and user survey for POE(Post Occupancy Evaluation) and analysis on the recently built domestic underground campus plans were conducted. As a conclusion, design direction and improvement areas for the synthesized sustainable underground campus plan were proposed. Underground campus plan will be a great alternative for a 21st century sustainable campus if well-developed plans with organized design guidelines are established.

The existing domestic and foreign elderly nursing homes, with 50 beds or more, are selected and examined according to user interview, and document analysis to understand the facts about the elderly nursing homes. The location of domestic nursing homes is limited to the region of Seoul and Kyunggi province. The scope of research is focused on the plans, area compositions, equipments and relations with public spaces - wandering paths, bathrooms and toilets. The content of research, based on the collected data discribed above, includes the search for architectural idea and the examination of typological differences among plans. The research is performed as followes. 1) description of research objectives. 2) examination of problems associated with the elderly. 3) understanding of systems and plans of domestic and foreign nursing homes. 4) performance of case study, derivation of design criteria for architectural planning, and suggestion of several adjustable alternatives for public spaces.
