부모 지지와 고등학생 진로발달과의 관계 연구 - 일반계, 산업정보계, 실업계의 비교 - (A Study on the Relationship between Parental Support and Senior High School Students' Career Development)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between parental support and senior high school students' career development. For this study, the data was gathered from 1,468 students in 15 classes(different divisions) at 9 high schools (3 Academic high schools, 3 Industrial technology schools, 3 Vocational high schools) in Seoul. The results of the study were as follows: 1. There is significant difference, statistically, in the relation between parental support and career development by gender. 2. As for the division factor, the recognition level of parental supports was higher in girls than in boys and the average of their career development level was also higher. 3. As for the division factor, the recognition level of parental supports was most highest in academic high school students than in other groups and the average of their career development level was also the highest. 4. There were significant correlations between the parental supports and career decision-making self-efficacy, vacational identity, career decision. 5 As for the effects of parental support on the student's career development, career decision-making self-efficacy was higher than other vacational identity, career decision.. The $R^2$ value was weak but still statistically significant.

IPA분석을 통한 공학계열 대학생 진로역량 보유수준 및 필요수준에 대한 인식 연구 (A Study on the Perception of the Level of Career Competency and Needs for Engineering Students : Using IPA Analysis Within the Engineering Educational Contexts)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the difference between the current retention level and the required level of engineering students' career competency that they think they need based on their perceptions. Ultimately, the results of this study are used as basic data when designing the major/general education program and the curricular/extra-curricular career program. The task of this study is to identify the difference between the current retention level and the required level of engineering students' career competency. And based on this, it is to confirm the educational needs of engineering students for the career competency. For this purpose, literature research on career competency education in universities was reviewed in the theoretical background. Next, previous studies on career competency and sub-competence derived from career competency-related studies and detailed questions were analyzed. Based on this, an initial evaluation tool for career competency of engineering students was developed. Finally, through expert review, a career competency evaluation tool with a total of 43 items in 10 competency groups was developed. A career competency evaluation questionnaire was conducted for 197 engineering students who participated in the 2022 Engineering Education Festa, and as a result of the IPA analysis, 'global competency' was found to be the competency with the largest difference between importance and execution. Next, 'major job competency' and 'career development competency' appeared in order. Reflecting the results of this study, it is expected that mutually organic design of competency-based liberal arts curriculum and major curriculum that can cultivate global competency, major job competency, and career development capability will be carried out through learning activities and field practice.

A Study on Effects of Franchise Distribution Employees on Occupational Identity

  • Purpose - This research is to verify job fitness, empowerment, and recognition of career development support having the influence on formation of occupational identity in Korean food franchise distribution company. Research design, data, and methodology - Total 600 copies have been distributed and 394 copies have been collected, the covariance structure analysis has been implemented to verify the presented research hypothesis. Results - Demand fit and competency fit being the lower level of job fitness appeared not to have significant influence on occupational identity, and also these do not have the significant influence on the empowerment. Even though formal career development support being lower level of career development recognition appeared to have significant influence on empowerment, nonformal career development support appeared not to have significant influence on empowerment. Formal career development support and nonformal career development support appeared to have significant influence on occupational identity. Finally, empowerment appeared to have significant influence on occupational identity. Conclusions - It is implied that the psychological and subjective success felt in employee's career course may be improved by the job related job fitness, the initiative being individual characteristic and formal and formless career development support being organizational characteristic.

청소년의 사회관계가 진로발달과 대학생활만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 융합적 연구 (A Convergent Study Assessing the Effects of Youth's Social Relationships on Career Development and College Life Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 대학 진학 전·후 진로발달과 대학생활 만족도 간의 관계를 확인하고 이에 영향을 미치는 요인으로서 부모, 또래, 교사와의 사회관계에 대해 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 한국청소년정책연구원에서 2010년부터 조사한 한국아동·청소년패널 조사(Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey: KCYPS)를 활용하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 진로발달과 대학생활 만족도 간에는 정적인 상관관계를 보였다. 또한, 부모 또는 또래와의 지지적 관계는 고등학생 시기 진로정체감 수준과 이후 대학생활만족에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 그 밖에, 고등학생 시기 교사와 긍정적 관계를 형성한 청소년의 경우 대학 진학 후 진로 결정 수준이 높은 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 개인의 진로발달 수준에 맞는 개별화된 진로교육의 필요성을 시사하였다. 또한, 긍정적인 사회관계를 형성, 유지, 발전시키기 위한 융합적 접근은 청소년의 진로발달에 지속적이고 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 보인다.

조직지원인식이 주관적 경력성공에 미치는 영향: 경력계획의 매개효과 검증 (The Effect of Perceived Organizational Support on Subjective Career Success: The Mediating Effect of Career Planning)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to identify the relations among perceived organizational support, career planning, and subjective career success (career satisfaction and job satisfaction). In particular, this study focuses on the mediating effect on the career planning between perceived organization and subjective career success. The target cases are employees of a Korean branch of a global company (A), which operates formal career program to support a career development for employees. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from December, 2014 to March, 2015. 211 out of 300 questionnaires were returned (response rate 70.3%). After the data cleaning, 209 questionnaires were used for the data analysis. These data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM). The whole process of the data analysis was accomplished using the SPSS 21.0 for windows and the AMOS 21 program. Results - The findings of the study are as follows: First, the better the organizational support is perceived, the higher career satisfaction and job satisfaction is. That is, the employees' career and job satisfaction is higher, when they feel themselves received more supporting. Second, perceived organizational support has a positive impact on employees' career planning. This result means that it is important to support employees in their career development. Third, career planning has a positive impact on career satisfaction, but not on job satisfaction. Lastly, it is verified that career planning has a mediating effect between the perceived organizational support and career satisfaction. Not only has the perception of an organizational support a direct impact on career satisfaction, but also an indirect impact through career planning. However, there is not an indirect relationship through career planning, just an direct relationship between the perception of an organizational support and job satisfaction Conclusions - Based on the findings of this study, the major conclusion of the study was as follows: The study provides theoretical values and practical implications for the fact that the differences of the subjective perception about organizational support exist among employees, and the differences have an impact on their career planning as well as subjective career success. Furthermore, some recommendations for workplace were suggested: The companies should support the career development for employees in organization level. Even though employment instability makes individual workers themselves to be responsible for their own career development, it is an important issue in organizational level that employees' career success could have positive effects on organizational development and success, as well. However, there is a limit in the study that analyzing results cannot be generalized due to the data from a single company. Some recommendations for future research are suggested: First, a comparative study should be conducted with other various companies. Second, a hierarchical analyzing model needs to be applied to substantiate how organizational context influences on subjective career success of employees.

  • 일반적으로 직원들이 자신의 경력이 정체되어 있다고 인식하게 되면 직무몰입 및 직무만족도가 낮아지고 이는 궁극적으로 성과에 부정적인 영향을 미치게 된다. 특히, 연구개발 업무와 같이 고도의 전문적인 지식이 필요한 직무에서는 경력개발이 더욱 중요한 의미를 가진다. 기존 연구들이 경력정체성의 부정적 결과에 연구의 초점을 두었다면 본 연구는 경력정체성의 선행요인을 파악하는데 중점을 두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 경력정체성의 선행 요인을 조직수준 변수와 개인수준 변수로 구분한 후 각각의 변수가 경력정체성에 미치는 직접효과 및 변수들간의 상호작용 효과를 분석하였다. 국내 정부출연연구소 연구원 및 행정직을 대상으로 실증 분석한 결과, 경력개발제도와 타 기관 근무경험은 경력정체성과 부(-)의 관계를 보였으며, 연령은 경력정체성과 정(+)의 관계를 보였다. 또한 경력개발제도와 타 기관 근무경험간의 상호작용도 유의적인 결과를 보였다.

대학생의 진로인식에 따른 진로 교육 요구도 차이 분석 (An Analysis on the Educational Needs of the Career Education according to the Career Recognition of the Undergraduates)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 진로인식이 진로개발역량에 영향을 미치는가를 살펴보고 진로인식 여부가 교육요구도에 어떤 차이를 가져오는가를 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위해 대학교 학생 362명에게 진로개발역량에 대한 교육요구도를 조사 및 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 교육요구도는 경력개발에 대한 교육요구도가 가장 높았으며 그 다음이 직업정보탐색, 경력전환기술, 긍정적 자아개념형성, 진로계획 수립, 효과적 대인관계 형성 순이었다. 둘째, 대학생의 진로인식 여부는 역량 보유도에서는 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으나 역량 필요도에는 영향을 미치지 못했다. 셋째, 두 집단의 교육요구도의 순위는 1위에서 3위까지는 동일했으나 4위부터 6위까지는 달랐다. 즉, 두 집단 모두 교육요구도 1위는 경력개발, 2위는 직업정보탐색, 3위는 경력전환기술로 동일하였으나, 그 뒤 순위는 진로인식 집단은 긍정적 자아개념형성, 효과적 대인관계 형성, 경력전환기술 순임에 반해 진로 미인식 집단은 진로계획수립, 긍정적 자아개념형성, 효과적 대인관계 형성 순이었다. 본 연구 결과는 대학 진로교육의 효율성을 제고하는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Career Development Competencies by Individual Characteristics of Food Service-related College Students in Korea

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of career development competency recognized by the specialists who major in food service currently. To achieve the purpose of this study, the five two-year-courses technical colleges in Kyeonggi-do, Daejeon, Daegu Metropolitan City which include food service department were selected. And total 280 samples of enrolled students were extracted and the 256 students were treated statistically besides the 24 students who responded dishonestly. The analysis results are as follows. First, the male students showed partially higher career development competencies than female students. Second, the second grade students showed partially higher career development competency than the first grade students. Third, the specialists whose family income is over 5 million won showed the highest career development competency, and the students in 3-5 million won and less than 3 million won followed them in order. Fourth, there were differences in competencies of lifelong learning, networking, collecting and utilizing the job information, and self-understanding, and career transition, and the specialists with more qualifications showed higher competency than those who with less qualifications. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a various career education program to enhance career development competencies of food service specialist by individual characteristic.

대학생의 진로상담프로그램 실시전후의 진로성숙도 차이검증 (Career counseling of University Students before and after Differences in career maturity verification)

  • 본 연구에서는 대학생들의 진로상담 프로그램 실시 전후의 진로 성숙도차이 검증을 통하여 향후 대학생들의 진로 상담 프로그램 개발 및 대학의 진로 지도의 방향 설정의 기초가 되고자 한다. 검증결과 우선 대학생 진로상담프로그램을 적용한 실험집단이 적용받지 않은 통제집단에 비해 진로태도성숙 수준이 향상되었다. 진로태도성숙 변화량의 집단간 T-test 결과는 진로태도성숙 전체에 대하여서도 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 세부 요인으로서는 확신성과 독립성에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

자원봉사활동이 사회복지학 전공생의 진로발달에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Volunteering on Career Development of the University Students Majoring in Social Welfare)

  • 본 연구는 자원봉사활동이 사회복지학 전공생의 진로발달에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄으로써 사회복지 전공생들에게 졸업 후의 진로를 준비함에 있어 상담 및 지도에 도움을 주고자 실시하였다. 이를 위해 강원도 소재 4개 대학의 사회복지학과 재학생 중 자원봉사활동 경험이 있는 208명의 설문조사를 분석하였고, 진로발달은 진로결정수준 및 진로준비행동으로 측정하였다. 연구 결과 사회복지전공생의 진로결정수준은 2.65점, 진로준비행동은 2.28점으로 비교적 낮은 수준으로 나타났으며, 학년과 참여적극성에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 진로결정수준에는 자원봉사만족도와 참여적극성이, 진로준비행동에는 학년과 자원봉사만족도가 유의한 수준에서 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 전공관련 자원봉사활동을 통해 전공지식의 실천기회와 경험을 통해 봉사활동 이후 진로결정에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있고 이를 바탕으로 실제적인 함의를 제시하였다.
