A person's life consists of two important stages: the first stage as a student and the second stage as a worker. In an integrated model of education and career concerns, I analyze the welfare effects of education. In Spence's job market signaling model, education as a sorting device improves efficiency by mitigating the lemon market problem. In contrast, in the integrated model, education as a sorting device can be detrimental to social welfare, as it eliminates work incentives generated by career concerns.

This research aims to explore the factors affecting engineering students' major persistence and career decision. To achieve this goal, the experiences and perceptions of engineering students and other stakeholders regarding the factors influencing engineering students' major persistence and career decision were analyzed through online focus group interviews (FGI). The analysis of the interviews resulted in the identification of seven categories, which include meeting with older alumni, team project experiences, and internship experiences as factors influencing major persistence. Additionally, engineering interest, engineering self-efficacy, employment rates, economic factors, and limitations in women engineers' career development were identified as factors affecting career decision. Based on these findings, it is expected that engineering education will develop plans that focus on supporting the major persistence and career development of engineering students, thereby contributing to the future direction of engineering education.

The career choices of medical students are significant for both individual students and society, which relies on a robust public healthcare system. Medical schools should provide a conducive environment and diverse information to enable students to make mature career decisions. Yonsei University College of Medicine conducts extracurricular programs for students' career development, including the Career Choice Expo, Career Path Survey, Special Lecture on Career Development, and a Visible Radio Show focused on career counseling. Additionally, the intracurricular activities offered by the college include career advising to students through faculty advisors in learning communities based on students' reflective writing about career-related activities. Medical students, in the process of forming their career decisions, compare what they have learned in the medical school curriculum with information acquired through extracurricular activities, taking into consideration their individual characteristics. Through longitudinal discussions with faculty advisors in learning communities, medical students not only gain recognition for the validity of their exploratory activities but also develop a sense of self-efficacy in making career decisions. The career education program at Yonsei University College of Medicine aligns with recent perspectives emphasizing the integration of career counseling for medical students into the curriculum in order to increase effectiveness.

일반 대학생을 위한 진로교육의 필요성이 제기되면서 이에 대한 많은 정책과 연구가 생성되고 있는 반면 대학생 학생선수를 위한 진로교육에 대한 대책은 딱히 이루어지고 있지 않다. 대학생 학생 선수들에 대한 진로교육이 제대로 이루어지고 있지 않은 이유에는 여러 가지가 있을 수 있지만 가장 큰 문제로 지적될 수 있는 것은 대학생 학생선수라는 특수한 모집단의 진로교육에 사용될 수 있는 적절한 콘텐츠가 충분히 개발되어있지 않다는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학생 학생선수의 진로교육 교과목 개발의 필요성을 제시하고 이를 위한 교과목에 어떠한 내용이 포함되어야 하는 지를 제언하고자 한다. 본 연구의 자료는 대학 스포츠 전문가, 스포츠 심리학자와 진로교육 전문가들의 전문가회의를 통해 생성되었으며 6차에 걸친 전문가 회의를 통해 현실적으로 대학생 학생선수들에게 적용가능한 수업의 구조를 결정하고 대학생 학생선수들에게 필요한 내용의 진로교육 내용을 결정한 후, 그 내용들을 16주의 교과과정으로 설계하였다.

이 연구의 목적은 진로 진학 상담 교사 양성제도 중 교육 대학원 석사 과정을 중심으로 문제점과 개선 방향을 제안하는 데 있다. 첫째, 진로 진학 상담 전공 교육 대학원 양성제도의 경우 ①서울 소재 대학이 3곳, 경기도 2곳, 인천 1곳, 강원 1곳, 대구 1곳, 전북 1곳, 충남 3곳, 충북 1곳으로 총 13개 대학에 개설되어 있다. ②대부분의 학교에서 이원화로 운영하고 있다. ③진로 진학 상담 전공으로 교육 대학원 석사 과정 교육과정은 많게는 26개 과정 적게는 10개 과정이 개설되어 있다. 둘째, 진로 진학 상담 대학원 양성제도의 문제점과 개선 방향은 무엇인가? ①표준화된 교육과정 마련이 필요하다. ②지역사회 연계 강화 교육 운영이 필요하다. ③교육 대학원 13개 교육과정의 수준 차이 해소 및 일부 대학 교수진 확보 부족을 해결할 필요가 있다. ④교육부 진로 교육 정책과가 13개 교육 대학원을 주기적으로 평가할 필요가 있다. ⑤교육부 진로 정책과에서 역할은 전국 초·중·고 진로 진학 상담 교사의 수요와 공급을 고려한 국가 차원에서 중장기적 계획 수립이 필요하다. ⑥진로 진학 상담 교사 자격증 취득 방법은 이원화하는 것이 바람직하다.

본 연구는 체육교육전공 대학생들의 교사역량이 교과전공만족 및 진로결정에 미치는 영향을 구명하는데 주된 목적이 있다. 2022년 4월1일~4월 30일까지 경기도, 충청도, 대전 등에 있는 사범대학교 재학 중인 체육교육 전공자들을 대상으로 비확률 표집인 유의표집방법(pur-posive sampling)을 이용하여 표본추출 후 연구 참가자 400명을 표집으로 조사하여 최종 340명을 대상으로 교차분석을 시행하였다. 첫째, 교사역량은 진로결정에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 교사역량은 진로결정에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 교과전공만족은 진로결정에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 교사역량과 교과전공만족 및 진로결정 간에는 인과적 관계가 형성 되었다. 체육교육전공 대학생들의 교사역량이 교과전공만족 및 진로결정에 미치는 영향을 구명함으로써 향후 예비체육 교사들의 진로결정에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

The increase of youth unemployment has delivered entire interests in career education by many institutes including universities Thereafter, the emphasis on career education makes the ability on career development be considered as one of the fundamental issues in a human life. There are many efforts to assist students for career exploring by universities, however, the findings through these researches have appeared to be insignificant. As a prat of the efforts to overcome these limitations, this study is to create the appropriate career exploring educational program for college students in engineering. In accordance with the objective of this study, the research was conducted with methodologies such as 1) literature reviews; 2) analysis on the career exploring ability and needs on the related programs focusing on 224 college students in engineering; 3) creation and development of the educational program for career exploring; 4) application of the developed program to twenty three number of college students; 5) result analysis after program implementation. The significant findings and a specific case delivered by this study expect to provide valuable contributions to prospective users who intent to involve in the related educational program.

진로 선택은 한 개인이 자아를 실현하고 행복한 삶을 살아가는데 있어 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 특히 초등학생은 진로에 대한 인식과 발달이 시작되는 시기이므로 주요한 의미를 갖는다. 하지만 현재의 진로지도는 주로 적성검사나 인쇄자료의 배포 등 단발성 작업에 집중되어 있다. 따라서 학생 입장에서 다양한 진로지도 활동 및 결과를 개인의 진로 관련 정보로써 축적할 수 있는 체계적이고 효율적인 시스템이 필요하다. 이에 e-포트폴리오를 기반으로 초등학생들의 진로의식을 성숙시킬 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발한 시스템에서는 학생들이 진로 검사 결과와 진로 활동 내용을 체계적으로 누적할 수 있고, 다중지능 이론에 근거하여 자신의 강점 지능과 약점 지능을 쉽게 파악할 수 있다. 교사 역시 사이트에서 제공하는 각종 그래프를 통해 학생들의 재능을 쉽게 파악하고 진로 지도를 할 수 있다.

본 연구는 중등학교 가정교과서의 진로 내용을 분석하여 가정교과가 진로교육의 어떠한 내용 요소를 얼마나 강조하여 다루고 있는지를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이에 제7차 교육과정을 적용하여 개발된 7학년에서 10학년까지의 기술가정 교과서의 가정 영역(이하 가정교과서)을 한국직업능력개발원(2001)에서 개발한 '학교급별 진로교육의 목표 및 내용 체계'를 준거로 내용분석법을 활용하여 진로 교육 내용의 단원별 구성과 영역별 비중을 알아보았다. 연구결과 중등학교 가정교과서 대단원 영역에서 진로교육 내용이 전반적으로 각 영역에 걸쳐 분포하고 있었으며, 출판사별 특징보다는 각 단원의 학습 내용과 특성을 반영하는 것으로 나타났다. 중등학교 가정 교과서의 진로교육 영역별 비중에서는 '일과 직업 세계' 영역의 내용이 두드러지게 많이 나타났다. 이는 가정교과가 직업세계에 대한 흥미와 탐색의 기회를 충분히 줄 수 있는 교과라는 것을 보여주는 결과이며 교과서가 진로교육을 강화하고자 하는 교육과정을 잘 반영하고 있음을 보여주는 것이라 해석할 수 있다.

본 연구는 미용 고등학교 학생 289명을 대상으로 미용교육과정 인식과 진로교육 만족도, 진로결정 효능감의 관계를 설문 및 분석하였다. 미용교육과정이 헤어 전공, 자격증 취득 기능교육으로 편중되어 있었고 진로계획은 취업과 대학진학이 높았으며 미용교육과정 인식과 미용교육과정 만족도에서 네일과 개인창업은 낮게 인식하였고(p<0.05, p<0.001) 진로결정 효능감에서 네일은 낮게, 진로교육 만족도에서 메이크업은 낮게, 개인창업은 낮게 인식하였다(p<0.01, p<0.05). 미용교육과정 인식이 높아질수록 진로교육 만족도가 높았고 교사는 진로교육 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 운영 및 시설영역은 직업정보에, 교과과정 영역은 미래계획과 문제해결에, 교사영역은 자기평가에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다(p<0.05, p<0.001, p<0.001). 따라서 메이크업, 피부, 네일 전공의 교육과정의 개선이 필요하고 효과적인 진로교육 프로그램이 개발되어야 한다.
