Effect of Ego-resiliency and Career consciousness maturity of Nursing students on Job-seeking stress (간호대학생의 자아탄력성과 진로의식성숙이 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, the relationship between ego-resiliency, career consciousness maturity, and job-seeking stress of nursing students was investigated. For this study, data were collected from October 22 to November 21, 2021. Therefore, general characteristics, job-seeking characteristics, ego-resilience, career consciousness maturity, job-seeking stress were investigated by applying a structured questionnaire targeting 187 nursing students. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Multiple regression data were analyzed using program IBM SPSS21.0. In the study results, ego-resilience had a positive correlation with career consciousness maturity, and career consciousness maturity had a negative correlation with job-seeking stress. The factor affecting job-seeking stress was the maturity of career consciousness, and the influence was 43%. Based on the research results, It is necessary to develop and apply job-seeking support programs in education so that nursing students can reduce job-seeking stress and make positive career plans.

Effect of a Career Value Clarification Program on Career Consciousness Maturity and Career Decision-Making of Female College Students

  • In this paper, we would like to propose how the career value clarification program effects the maturity of career consciousness and career decision-making of female college students. The subjects were 70 attending to K Women's College and pre-and post tests of the program were conducted to them. The results were presented: The career value clarification program had a significant effect on career determination, career involvement, career independence, and career dispositionality and in particular, was significant in reasonable type as one of career decision making variables. The results mentioned above indicate that the career value clarification program had a statistically significant effect on career maturity and career decision-making. To positively enhance career maturity and career decision-making in the subjects, the career value clarification program should encourage college women students to visit diverse institutes and organizations in their community to identify licenses and activities needed for career and be prepared for actual career. Colleges should actively invite related experts and give students opportunities to understand the definition of and values pursued in their career.

The Effects of Major Satisfaction, Clinical Practice Satisfaction and Career Consciousness Maturity of Nursing Students on Job-Seeking Stress

  • This study was attempted to find out the effect of major satisfaction, maturation of career consciousness and clinical practice satisfaction of nursing college students on job-seeking stress. For this study, 157 3th, 4th grade students were participated from K University in K Province, using a self-reported questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 22.0. program. As a result of this study, it was revealed that there was a significant correlation between the job-seeking stress of nursing students on major satisfaction(r=-.270, p<.001), clinical practice satisfaction(r=-.283 p<.001), maturation of career consciousness(r=-.424, p<.001). Also, the factors affecting the job-seeking stress of nursing students were major satisfaction(β=-0.005, p<.05), clinical practice satisfaction(β=-0.126, p<.001), maturation of career consciousness(β=-0.369, p<.001) with a total explanatory power of 17.7%. Therefore consideration of educational programt be given to the s and support systems to reduced job seeking stress for nursing students.

  • The choice of occupation has a great deal of influences on achievement of self-realization and living a good life in an individual's life. Especially, it is very significant for Elementary school students because they become to aware of career and develop. However, in the present, the career guidance is mainly concentrated in the solitary work, such as an aptitude test and printed materials. The perspective from the student, therefore, needs systematic and efficient system to accumulate activities and result of their various career guidance for individual career-related information. The system to improve elementary school student's career awareness based on e-portfolio has been developed. The developed system can effectively accumulate students' activities and result of their various career guidance and easily grasp their strengths and weaknesses of intelligence based on theory of multiple intelligences. Teacher also can easily grasp their student's talent through all sorts of graphs provided by the web site for career education.

The Effects of Brain Education Based on Career Camp Program for Child ·adolescent's Career Maturity (뇌교육 기반 진로캠프 프로그램이 아동·청소년의 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향)

  • The study aimed to determine the characteristics of human brains and to identify the students' aptitude and interests by developing and applying the program for recognizing students' desired future careers. A total of 135 students (59 elementary school children and 76 middle school adolescents) were surveyed for 2 days and 1 night. The study conclusions are as follows. First, the program proved effective in forming the constructive recognition for their future jobs because they could explore careers in the future and because they could raise their consciousness of perspectives on careers. Second, the program makes it possible to explore future jobs that are appropriate to them based on their aptitude and interests and to enhance their career competencies. Further research is required because more consideration is needed. First, the present research applied the same program to all student participants despite the differences in developmental levels. Therefore, future research needs to involve elements that reflect their distinct psychological proficiency levels. Second, to show the evidence of the effectiveness, further studies need to focus on diverse dependent variables that may influence the results other than their distinct psychological proficiency levels.
