In this paper, we propose a method to track the movement of camera from the video sequences. This method is useful for video analysis and can be applied as pre-processing step in some application such as video stabilizer and marker-less augmented reality. First, we extract the features in each frame using corner point detection. The features in current frame are then compared with the features in the adjacent frames to calculate the optical flow which represents the relative movement of the camera. The optical flow is then analyzed to obtain camera movement parameter. The final step is camera movement estimation and correction to increase the accuracy. The method performance is verified by generating a 3D map of camera movement and embedding 3D object to the video. The demonstrated examples in this paper show that this method has a high accuracy and rarely produce any jitter.

With the recent increase in YouTube content, many YouTubers are shooting with a handheld camera. Audiences are increasingly accustomed to the movement of handheld cameras. As the camera moves faster than the camera movement of the old movies, and the camera moves splendidly to the music of the music video, the camera movement in CG animation is also needed to change. The handheld Steadicam creates a natural camera movement by compensating so that the screen does not vibrate significantly even when the vibration is large and by minimizing rotation. In order to implement such camera movement, we tried to make a handheld Steadicam using nParticle simulation of Maya software and apply it to the scene to verify whether it is possible to implement the necessary natural and various movement.
In this paper, the geometry between horizontal and vertical movement of lens is studied for automatic vergence control of horizontal moving axis stereo camera. When the disparity of stereo remains contant, the horizontal movement of camera lens for image disparity and the vertical movement for image focus have linear geometry. Using this linearity, we can control the vergence of stereo camera only by focusing of stereo camera lens.
Based on the camera movement on image expression and grammar, this study intended to analyze the characteristics of image expression filmed and broadcasted by drones. This study analyzed drone images using the movement characteristics of existing video cameras as a coding nomenclature. These were intended to examine the differences from existing video grammar and their implications. This study conducted a content analysis using the entire population of drone news footage broadcast for four years in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 by TV Chosun. The size of the screen, camera work, duration of the shot, camera angle, etc. were selected and analyzed. As a result, the drone camera work showed that it uses the most dolly shots in the case of camera movement, followed by the drone camera movement in the order of pan and tilt shots. For zoom, the frequency of use was the smallest. In addition, this study analyzed the size of the screen, duration of the shot, and camera angle of drone. Analysis shows that drones use certain camera movements most frequently, and unlike grandiose modifiers such as "extension of human gaze," drone remains as a supplementary means to enhance the traditional media expression.

A background is a part where do not vary too much or frequently change in an image sequence. Using this assumption, it is presented a background acquisition algorithm for not only static but also dynamic view in this paper. For generating background, we detect a region, where has high correlation rate compared within selected region in the prior pyramid image, from the searching region in the current image. Between a detected region in the current image and a selected region in the prior image, we calculate movement vector for each regions in time sequence. After we calculate whole movement vectors for two successive images, vector histogram is used to determine the camera movement. The vector which has the highest density in the histogram is determined a camera movement. Using determined camera movement, we classify clusters based on pixel intensities which pixels are matched with prior pixels following camera movement. Finally we eliminate clusters which have lower weight than threshold, and combine remained clusters for each pixel to generate multiple background clusters. Experimental results show that we can automatically detect background whether camera move or not.
There are so many types of sensors which have been developed in order to construct intelligence robots. This paper presents the study of the movement of a vehicle robot using a CCD-Camera. The CCD-Camera is used as a sensor to control a vehicle robot in a stable movement. This vehicle robot is called CVR. The system is the combination of the CCD-Camera, the vehicle robot and a dedicated software controller. The stability of CVR is proven by studying the movement methodology. The performance of the movement is experimented.

When a construction company builds a high structure. many piles should be driven into the ground by a hammer whose weight is 7,000 kg in order to make the ground under the structure safe and strong. So. it is essential to determine whether a pile is penetrated into the ground enough to support the weight of the structure since ground characteristics at different locations are different each other. This paper proposes a visual measurement system for pile rebound and penetration movement including vibration using a high-speed line-scan camera and a specially designed mark to recognize two-dimensional motion parameters of the mark using only a line-scan camera. A mark stacking white and black right-angled triangles is used for the measurement, and movement information for vertical distance, horizontal distance and rotational angle is determined simultaneously. Especially- by adopting a line-scan CCD camera whose line rate is 20 ㎑. the measurement performance of dynamic characteristics of the pile at impact instant is improved dramatically.

As research on security systems using IoT (Internet of Things) devices increases, the need for research to track the location of specific objects is increasing. The goal is to detect the movement of objects in real-time and to predict the radius of movement in short time. Many studies have been done to clearly recognize and detect moving objects. However, it does not require the sharing of information between cameras that recognize objects. In this paper, using the device information of the camera and the video information taken from the camera, the movement radius of the object is predicted and information is shared about the camera within the radius to provide the movement path of the object.
This paper analyzed the characteristics of Motion Poster (Moster) and discussed the visual expression methods. To this end, the existing literature on motion posters was organized. The visual representation of motion posters was analyzed by dividing into 'Main Visual', 'Mode of Movement', 'Playtime' and 'Sound'. The analysis results were as follows. As motion posters are kind of movie posters, they are made from the original movie poster images, characters, or scenes of the movie. Graphical representations used either photo-realism or computer realism. The movement methods are 'simple movement of visual elements(movement, gesture and rotation, appear or disappear)+fixed camera movement' or' camera movement (zoom in/out, rotate, move) + fixed visual element movement'. Playback time ranged from about 10 seconds to over 1 minute of video, and the longer the video, the higher the probability of including sound.

This paper presents a solution for personal profiling system based on user-oriented tracking. Here, we introduce a new way to identify and track humans by using two types of cameras: dome and face camera. Dome camera has a wide view angle so that it is suitable for tracking human movement in large area. However, it is difficult to identify a person only by using dome camera because it only sees the target from above. Thus, face camera is employed to obtain facial information for identifying a person. In addition, we also propose a new mechanism to locate human on targeted location by using grid-cell system. These result in a system which has the capability of maintaining human identity and tracking human activity (movement) effectively.
