Objectives : This study was performed to investigate the relationship between Sasang Constitution and length of chest and abdomen region. Methods : Forty eight participants were enrolled. Weight, height, and lengths from CV22 to CV16, from CV16 to CV8, and from CV8 to CV2 were measured. Ratios of last three lengths to total CV22 to CV2 were calculated respectively. On the other hand, Sasang Constitution was analyzed with QSCCII(Questionnaire of Sasang Constitutional Classification II). The analysis of relationship between the measurements and Sasang Constitution was carried out with SPSS to compare the mean values according to Sasang Constitution. Results : All the mean values were not significantly different depending on the Sasang Constitution, except the ratio of the length from CV16 to CV8 to the length from CV22 to CV2, only in female participants. The ratio was higher in the female Soeumin participants than any other constitutional groups. Conclusions : This result showed that Soeumin could be assumed that they might have weak digestion abilities.

In order to study the effect of aqua-acupuncture with Radix Angelicae gigantis extract solution by acuncture point. Radix Angelicae gigantis aqua-acupuncture was carried on every day for 3 days and 5 days 7 days respectively on the corresponding loci of Chondol(CV22) and non-acupuncture points (loci at the root of tail), after inducing hypothyroidism by thiourea administration and thereafter the contents of serum triiodothyronine$(T_3)$, thyroxine$(T_4)$, triiodothyronine uptake, free $T_3$, free $T_4$, total protein, albumin, creatinine, creatine, BUN, cholesterol, triglyceride, and total lipid were measured in hypothyroidism rats. The following results have been obtained : 1. $T_3$ was increased with statistical significance by Radix Angelicae gigantis aquq-acupuncture for 3 days, 5 days and 7 days Chondol(CV22) and non-acupuncture points as compared with the control group. 2. $T_3$ uptake was increased with statistical significance by Radix Angelicae gigantis aquq-acupuncture for 3 days, 5 days and 7 days to Chondol(CV22) as compared with the control group. 3. Free $T_4$ was increased with statistical significance by Radix angelicae gigantis aqua-acupuncture for 3 days, 5 days and 7 days to Chondol(CV22), and non-acupuncture points respectively as compared with the control group. 4. Albumin was decreased with statistical significance by Radix Angelicae gigantis aqua-acupuncture for 3 days, and 5 days and 7 days to Chondol(CV22), and non-acupuncture points respectively as compared with the control group. 5. Creatine was decreased with statistical significance by Radix Angelicae gigantis aqua-acupuncture for 3 days, and 5 days and 7 days to Chondol(CV22), and non-acupuncture points respectively as compared with the control group. 6. Cholesterol was decreased with statistical significance by Radix Angelicae gigantis aqua-acupuncture for 3 days, and 5 days and 7 days to Chondol(CV22) and non-acupuncture points respectively as compared with the control group. 7. Triglyceride was decreased with statistical significance by Radix Angelicae gigantis aqua-acupuncture for 3 days, and 5 days and 7 days to Chondol(CV22) and non-acupuncture points respectively as compared with the control group. 8. Total lipid was decreased with statistical significance by Radix Angelicae gigantis aqua-acupuncture for 3 days, and 5 days and 7 days to Chondol(CV22) and non-acupuncture points respectively as compared with the control group.

22.9 kV CV power cable is very important factor of underground distribution power line. Cyclic aging for 14days is performed to remove a large amount of the volatiles found in freshly manufactured cable. In this paper, we examined AC breakdown characteristics of CV power cable before and after cyclic aging for 14days. As the result, even if there were some exceptions, the AC breakdown voltage before aging was lower than that after aging, but most of the results were that the AC breakdown voltage after aging was lower than that before aging.

The purpose of this study is to arrange the acupuncture therapy on the asthma from the oriental medical literature. The results obtained as follows. 1. The cause of the asthma is the intrinsic factors and the over-sensitive reactions. The decreased function of the lung and the kidney are chronically affected to the asthma. 2. The typical sign of the asthma is tachypnea and wheezes to be heard throughout the lung field, particularly during expiration. 3. Bladder meridian, Conception vessel, and Lung meridian used frequently for the acupuncture therapy, and Bladder meridian, Conception vessel, Stomach meridian, and Lung meridian used frequently for the moxibusrion on the asthma. The acupuncture points of Lung meridian used most frequently on the asthma, but the acupuncture points of Heart meridian have not used. 4. Acupuncture point at B13, CV22, LI4, CV12, CV17, 536, B12 used used frequently for the acupuncture therapy, and the acupuncture point at B13, CV22, B12, CV17, B43 used frequently for the moxibustion on the asthma Particularly B13 and CV22 used most frequently for the acupuncture therapy on the asthma.

On the framework of stochastic gravitational wave background(SGWB) by compact binary systems, we studied the strain spectra of SGWB produced by cosmological cataclysmic variables(CV). For this we reviewed the empirical properties of CVs by using newly published CV catalogue and calculated the cosmological densities of CVs considering the galaxy luminosity function and cosmic stellar birth rate function. Assuming the secular evolution of CVs, we calculated the time scale of CV gravitational wave(GW) radiation and derived formulae for the strain spectra of SGWB by cosmological CVs.

The adsorption ability of wood-based activated carbon to adsorb methylene blue (MB) and crystal violet (CV) from aqueous solution has been investigated. Adsorption studies were carried out on the batch experiment at different initial MB and CV concentrations (MB=150 mg/L~400 mg/L, CV=50 mg/L~350 mg/L), contact time, and temperature. The results showed that the MB and CV adsorption process followed the pseudo-second-order kinetic and intraparticle diffusion was the rate-limiting step. Adsorption equilibrium data of the adsorption process fitted very well to both Langmuir and Freundlich model. The maximum adsorption capacity ($q_m$) by Langmuir constant was 416.7 mg/g for MB and 462.4 mg/g for CV. The thermodynamic parameters such as ${\Delta}H^{\circ}$, ${\Delta}S^{\circ}$ and ${\Delta}G^{\circ}$ were evaluated. The MB and CV adsorption process was found to be endothermic for the two dyes.

Objective: I carried out this study for research on thermographic change of DITI by Sugi Therapy. Methods: This study was conducted on 22 normal cases (M : F =4:18) with no past history to observe the effect of Sugi Therapy. 22 cases were divided into 2 groups. One group is a control group treated by only Acupuncture Therapy. The other group is a treatment group treated by Acupuncture Therapy and Sugi Therapy. I measured temperature of abdomen and palm by DITI (Digital Infrared Thermographic Imaging) before and after treatment Result: 1. Overall the temperature difference of the treatment group was bigger than that of the control group. 2. On the palm, the average value of the treatment group was -0.56±0.70, which is lower 10 times than -0.06±0.91 of the control group. 3. On Chung-wan(CV12), the average value of the treatment group was 1.20±0.49, which is 2.15 times higher than 0.56±0.44 of the control group. 4. On Kwanwon(CV4), the average value of the treatment group was 0.77±0.73, which is 1.38 times higher than 0.55±0.39 of the control group. 5. To compare the temperature difference on the palm, Chung-wan(CV12) and Kwanwon(CV4) before and after treatment, the order is like this :Chung-wan(CV12) > Kwanwon(CV4) > palm of all treatment group and control group. Conclusion: I came to a conclusion that Sugi Theraphy is likely to work better with Acupuncture Therapy better than only Acupuncture Therapy, especially on Chung-wan(CV12).

Cyclic aging for 14 days is performed to remove a large amount of the volatiles found in freshly manufactured cable. In this paper, we examined lightning impulse characteristics of 22.9 kV CV power cable before and after cyclic aging for 14days. As the result, the breakdown voltage after aging under normal temperature was lower than that before aging, and the breakdown voltage after aging under hot temperature was lower than that before aging. We found that the dispersion of lightning impulse breakdown voltage before 14 cyclic aging test were reduced rather than those after 14 cyclic aging test.
