Chronic illnesses are among the most common serious problems affecting human health. Early diagnosis of chronic diseases can assist to avoid or mitigate their consequences, potentially decreasing mortality rates. Using machine learning algorithms to identify risk factors is an exciting strategy. The issue with existing feature selection approaches is that each method provides a distinct set of properties that affect model correctness, and present methods cannot perform well on huge multidimensional datasets. We would like to introduce a novel model that contains a feature selection approach that selects optimal characteristics from big multidimensional data sets to provide reliable predictions of chronic illnesses without sacrificing data uniqueness.[1] To ensure the success of our proposed model, we employed balanced classes by employing hybrid balanced class sampling methods on the original dataset, as well as methods for data pre-processing and data transformation, to provide credible data for the training model. We ran and assessed our model on datasets with binary and multivalued classifications. We have used multiple datasets (Parkinson, arrythmia, breast cancer, kidney, diabetes). Suitable features are selected by using the Hybrid feature model consists of Lassocv, decision tree, random forest, gradient boosting,Adaboost, stochastic gradient descent and done voting of attributes which are common output from these methods.Accuracy of original dataset before applying framework is recorded and evaluated against reduced data set of attributes accuracy. The results are shown separately to provide comparisons. Based on the result analysis, we can conclude that our proposed model produced the highest accuracy on multi valued class datasets than on binary class attributes.[1]

BACKGROUND:The Aromatic rice which is characterized by the flavor of Nurungji when cooked rice, and consumption is increasing recently. The purpose of this study was to investigate the physicochemical characteristics and aroma components of five aromatic rice cultivars according to transplanting time. METHODS AND RESULTS: Quantitative analysis of protein, fat, fatty acid and essential amino acid for five aroma rice cultivars(Hyangmibyeo 2 ho, Aromi, Mihyang, Aranghyangchal, Heughyang)and transplanting time was analyzed by crude protein analyzer, gas chromatography (GC), liquid chromatography (LC) and viscosity analysis was done by using rapid viscosity analyzer (RVA). The content of 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline (2AP) was determined by gas chromatography mass spectrometer. (GC-MS) As a result, the average protein and lipid contents were 6.5% and 2.4%, respectively. The content of essential amino acid showed the highest content at 104.4mg/g. There was no significant change in normal nutrients during the transplanting time. By RVA, cv.Hyangmibyeo 2 ho showed the highest peak and total setback viscosities and lowest breakdown viscosity in early transplantation. The content of 2AP in flavor varieties and transplanting time was quantitatively analyzed by GC-MS. Among the cultivars, Aromi showed the highest 2AP contents at $66.7{\mu}g/100gin$ normal transplanting time. CONCLUSION: cv.Aromi and Hyangmibyeo 2 ho were excellent physicochemical properties and 2AP components contents amongaromatic rice cultivars tested. Theiroptimaltime to transplant was at the beginning of June in the area of Miryang.
Soybean [Glycin max (L.)] cv. Jangbaekkong was inoculated with 5 cultivated- and 5 uncultivated upland soils, in Yeongnam area, as soil inoculum and NifTAL peat inoculum as standard for soil inoculum potentials by Bradyrhizobium japonicum. 120 Bradyrhizobium japonicum isolates out of the soil populations were scored of three colony morphologies, designed "Dry", "Wet", and "Dry/Wet", and symbiotic effectiveness between "Dry" and "Wet" was compared. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. Indigenous populations of B. japonicum were above $10^4cells/g$. soil at the cultivated upland soils but were a few at the uncultivated upland soils except a colluvivum, orchard previously, in Yeongnam area. 2. Inoculum potentials of the cultivated upland soils were higher than the NifTAL inoculum and generally, nodule mass compensated nodule number for symbiotic effectiveness of soil populations. 3. Colony morphologies of soil populations showed the different proportions of "Dry" and "Wet" so that "Dry" types were dominant at the cultivated upland soils while "Wet" types at the uncultivated upland soils. 4. "Dry" colony morphology significantly exhibited higher symbiotic effectiveness than "Wet" types in nodule fresh weight, shoot dry weight, and shoot dry weight/nodule fresh weight. Therefore, as long as soil inoculum potentials, the growth of soybean at the cultivated upland soils could presumedly be affected by soil populations of Bradyrhizobium japonicum of "Dry" colony morphology.

This study was carried out to understand the physiological characteristics of early-matured 'Hanareum' (Pyrus pyrifolia Nakai) pears through anatomical structure and fruit characteristics and also the changes according to gibberellin (GA) treatment. The pericarp at full bloom consists of outer epidermis, hypodermis, parenchyma cell, and inner epidermis from the exterior and five types of vascular bundle tissues. Cork cell layer was formed at 70 days after full bloom (DAFB) in non-treated fruits and formed at 60 DAFB in GA treated fruits. Cell division period was from full bloom (FB) to 40 DAFB and then fruit enlargement was accomplished by the cell growth. Comparison of the fruit enlargement and fruit structure development by GA treatment or non-treatment showed that cell division of 'Hanaerum' fruits did not affect the GA treatment but fruit enlargement was affected cell growth. Fruit stalk of GA treatment fruits was larger than non-treated fruits from 40 DAFB which correspond to the period of the stop of cell division and 'Hanareum' was regarded GA treatment expedite of vascular bundle tissue growth and relatively increased nutrient transport to fruit. In addition to, average fruit quality between the non-treatment and GA treatment showed that fruit weight was higher in fruits treated by GA but firmness was lower and probably was effected fruit storing in 'Hanareum' pear.
BACKGROUND: To evaluate the impact of rapid temperature change at spring and the early summer seasons in climate change, we have investigated the physiological response and yield of onion in a greenhouse with thermostat control system. METHODS AND RESULTS: Seedlings of onion(cv. Sunshine) were planted on October 30, 2012 and harvested on May 30, 2013. The used treatments(March-April-May) for a rapid temperature change were T0(control): $6.0-10.4-17.2^{\circ}C$, T1: $6.0-5.4(-5)-17.2^{\circ}C$, T2: $6.0-10.4-22.2(+5)^{\circ}C$ and T3: $6.0-5.4(-5)-22.2(+5)^{\circ}C$. Total yields of bulb within the temperature change as high temperature treatment T2 and control treatment T0 were increased significantly(p<0.05), as compared to the low temperature treatment T1. Low temperature conditions significantly (p<0.05) reduced plant height, SPAD reading, crude protein and fiber etc., as compared to the TO and T2. CONCLUSION: The rapid temperature changes were highly affected by low temperature than high temperature. These results suggest that rapid climate change of future could need systematic standard model for physiological characteristics and yields of onion.

Variability of soil characteristics and purity were statistically summarized within mapping units and estimates were given for sample sizes required to reach predetermined levels of accuracy in mountainous area soils. Total variances within mapped soil series (expressed as CV): 30-60% for physical properties and CEC relatively affected by management and 80-230% for chemical properties except for pH affected by management. Means of some chemical properties were estimated on the assumption of log-normal distribution. These soils were correctly classified with regard to order at 73.9, to great group 56.9, and to series 47.4%. Approximate sample sizes required to detect the difference of 10 and 20% of the true mean with 0.95 confidence level were presented.

The objectives of this study are to identify whether the small area variation also exists in the oriental medicine and, if it exists, what causes, to expand our boundary of research interests on the small area variation observed at the western medicine toward the oriental medicine as one of the fundamental research foundations and to provide any fundamental findings from this study results to the healthcare politicians to promote consumer's rational behaviors for the use of healthcare. This study analyzed the health insurance claim data (2010, 2011) which were the patients of western medicine and the outpatients of the oriental medicine with the top 10 most frequent diseases and looked into the variation of healthcare utilization among the areas after grouping resident area into an 86-area category. The study result shows that the small area variation was also observed at the part of the oriental medicine in which the characteristics of patients critically affect the healthcare expenditure per visit day rather than those of providers and the characteristics of both patients and providers equally affect the healthcare expenditure per patient. Therefore, this study suggests that government set up healthcare policies on the standardization of oriental medicine to prevent its over-utilization and unmet need, enforcing the roles of oriental medicine in the markets, enhancing the appropriate health care utilization, and expanding provision and sharing the health care information to reduce unnecessary health care utilization.
Utilization of synthetic benzyladenine (BA) for bean sprout production should be reduced or minimized because of elevating production cost and not ascertaining action mechanism to human body. The study was done to compare the effects of BA concentrations under different watering methods (overspraying or underwatering) on growth and morphological characteristics of mungbean sprouts. Seeds of cv. Zhong-Lu 1 were soaked for 5 hours in the solutions with different BA concentrations (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 ppm) before 4 hour aeration, and then were cultured for 6 days by both watering systems. Their morphological characters, fresh and dry weights were measured. Regardless of watering methods, lateral roots were sharply dropped over 30 ppm BA concentrations, and hypocotyl, root and total lengths were shortened with increased BA concentrations although ratios of hypocotyl to root lengths and hypocotyl diameters were enlarged with their increment. Total fresh weights were increased up to 20 ppm in overspraying method but up to 30 ppm in underwatering method mainly due to increment of hypocotyl fresh weights. The sprouts were faster grown in overspraying method than in underwatering method because the former showed longer lengths of hypocotyl and root, and total fresh weights.
Self-and reciprocal-graftings were made between soybean varieties(cv.Hwangkeumkong, Paldalkong, Bokwangkong and Jangkyongkong) to assertain the relative role of shoot and root in soybean growth and yield determination. The influence of grafting per se on plant height and leaf number on main stem were negligible as evidenced by the insignificant differences between self-and reciprocal-graftings. The effect of grafting on flowering was different between different set of varieties grafted reciprocally. Self grafting delayed flowering 2 days and reciprocal grafting delayed another 2 days, in general. The effects of grafting on dry weights of different plant parts except pod were also insignificant. Reciprocal grafting increased pod dry weight in Hwangkeumkong and Paldalkong regardless whether they were used as scion or stock. Reciporcal grafting also influenced dry weights of Bokwangkong and Jangkyongkong significantly, but the response was different from those of Hwangkeumkong or Paldalkong. Jangkyongkong, when used as stock, decreased total dry weight of Bokwangkong significantly through the reduction of pod and stem dry weights. Stem diameter was increased by grafting, however, grafting decreased number of branches in all varieties. The average yields of self-and reciprocal-grafting were decreased by 11% and 24%, respectively, comparing to that of non-grafting, while average yield of reciprocal grafting was 14% lower than that of self grafting. Stem weight of grafted soybeans was decreased by 29-32% comparing to that of non-grafted soybeans, but the difference between self and reciprocal graftings was negligible. The genetic characteristics of scion was found to be more important than those of stock in determination of yield and stem weight. It was also indicated that varieties and characteristics are different in response to grafting.
Shape of soybean sprouts affects their marketability. This study was carried out to understand the effects of pressure in both overspraying and underwatering cultivation methods on growth and morphological characteristics of soybean sprouts. Pressing treatments were done by continuous pressing by laying a plastic culture box over another with growing the sprouts, their alteration every day, or no pressing in overspraying method, and by continuous pressing, pressing after the 4th day cultivation with 30 kg steel case, or no pressing in underwatering method. The soybean (cv. Junjery) seeds were soaked in 2 ppm BA solution for 5 hours and then aerated for 3 hours immediately before 6 day culture. Lateral roots, hypocotyl and root lengths, hypocotyl diameters, fresh and dry weights were measured. Lateral roots per sprout were decreased with stronger pressing regardless of watering methods. In overspraying method, continuous pressing treatment resulted in shortest hypocotyl, but no and ones did the longest root. In underwatering method, however, no pressing one showed the longest hypocotyl but continuous pressing did the shortest hypocotyl. Regardless of watering methods, middle part of hypocotyl was more thickened with stronger pressing although hook diameters of the 3 treatments were not affected. In overspraying method. total fresh weight per sprout was the least in no pressing but the greatest in continuous pressing. In underwatering method, however, there was no significant difference between the treatments.
