Sample periodogram is widely known as an inconsistent estimator for true spectral density. We show that it becomes consistent when the true spectrum at the zero frequency (often known as long-run variance) equals zero. Asymptotic results for consistency of the periodogram as well as the rate of convergence are formally derived.

This paper proposes a consistency algorithm that is able to serve streaming data efficiently in VOD system. The media data is stripping into several pieces of data by the Round Robin method in order to media data service. The barrier mechanism is changed into the minimum data factor(SH. GOP) in this paper. The shared memory is allocated at one host with one fragment size. Data is combined with RTP packet transmission data format using barrier mechanism. I experiment and program the suggested algorithm on the VOD system.

Replication in distributed databases is to improve efficiency, availability, and autonomy, But applying the strict consistency in real systems is very difficult. In this paper, I introduce a hybrid protocol permitting group update through eager update propagation and weakening consistency through lazy update, This protocol manages replica version number for the group update consistency and generates partially ordered replica spanning tree for the serializability of lazy update transactions. It preserves weak consistency by combining synchronous and asynchronous update mechanism. Study of performance analysis for the efficiency of the protocol be included in next paper.

Ghosh and Ramamoorthi (1996) studied the posterior consistency for survival models and showed that the posterior was consistent, when the prior on the distribution of survival times was the Dirichlet process prior. In this paper, we study the posterior consistency of survival models with neutral to the right process priors which include Dirichlet process priors. A set of sufficient conditions for the posterior consistency with neutral to the right process priors are given. Interestingly, not all the neutral to the right process priors have consistent posteriors, but most of the popular priors such as Dirichlet processes, beta processes and gamma processes have consistent posteriors. For extended beta processes, a necessary and sufficient condition for the consistency is also established.

Objectives: This paper was for studying the constitutional differences between questionnaire and clinical diagnosis, and to be helpful to make a diagnosis Sasang constitution. Using the result of this study, it will be helpful to diagnose a Sasang constitution. Methods: There were 331 patients(135 men and 196 women) who answered questionnaire and were diagnosed by the Sasang constitution specialist at constitutional clinic of Dongguk Bundang Oriental Hospital. Using the response of questionnaire and several statistical techniques, we tried to find the characteristics of questionnaire response among each constitution and consistency between questionnaire and clinical diagnosis. Results: As a result of the analysis of the consistency between clinical diagnosis and questionnaire, the consistency was low degree(kappa value = 0.320) and Taeumin and Soeumin had more consistency than Soyangin.

Influences of various waxes on the consistency of cream was investigated by inspections through microscope, rheometer and sensory test. Fatty acids, higher fatty alcohols, hydrocarbons, and some of natural waxes were used in this experiment. Most above waxes showed good state of emulsion at low concentration, but at higher concentration $(7.0{\sim}8.0%)$, they showed not only an unstable emulsion state but also a critical point of content in consistency. At this critical point of content, the consistency of w/o type cream was increased irregularly. So, it could be identified that consistency of a w/o type cream was strongly dependent on kinds and contents of waxes in continuous phase.

Formation which is one of the most fundamental characteristic of paper quality is affected by a number of variables. Fiber flocculation in the headbox has been recognized as the most important variable influencing formation. Consistency and crowding number of headbox stock are known to represent the flocculation potential of stocks. The effects of consistency and crowding number on paper formation were studied by measuring the flocculation of fiber suspensions. Increasing consistency increased the degree of fiber flocculation. Especially the consistency of long fiber fraction was the most crucial factor of flocculation. Tensile strength of handsheets was furnish dependent rather than flocculation dependent. Crowding number of a furnish can be used for the characterization of stock flocculation.

The effects of refining consistency and plate gap on the specific energy consumption and physical properties of liner were investigated. Higher refining consistency and narrower plate gap brought about the reduction of specific energy consumption to decrease the freeness. Refining consistency and plate gap did not affect the bulk, Taber stiffness and compression index. The reduction of freeness and/or the increase of specific energy consumption caused the decrease of bulk and Taber stiffness, but increased the compression index. The effect of grammage on bulk was not observed, but Taber stiffness and compression index were increased with grammage. The bulk was decreased with the reduction of freeness rapidly at the above 400 mL CSF, and then levelled off. It is expected that the reduction of energy consumption could be obtained from the application of higher refining consistency and narrower plate gap during refining.

Therefor it is important to maintain the traceability and consistency between models. In this paper, consistency checking rules are suggested by traceability matrix of work products.
