A Study on the Influence of Young Entrepreneurs' Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial preparation upon the Entrepreneurial Performance: Centered on Mediated Effect of Entrepreneurial infra system using (기업가정신과 창업준비가 사업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 창업인프라 활용 매개효과 중심으로)

  • Younger starters to be ready on the entrepreneurial performance and raising and producing potential creative person who demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit are not only important factor for added value creation along with national growth but also economic development to join the ranks of advanced countries. Thereby, a lots of interests and supports are focused in entrepreneurship and the startup activities. However, to create business achievement, we should nurture successful entrepreneurship based on using infrastructure in entrepreneurial ecosystem induced by aggressive investments and supports of the policy. Therefore, this study is empirical test of 203 young CEO of techniques which possibly create added value and national development, inventive type in knowledge service and opportunity type. Research finding is that entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial preparation have meaningful effects on the performance and the ready state. Entrepreneurship has no direct effects on entrepreneurial infra system. Entrepreneurial preparation has meaningful effects on entrepreneurial infra system. We induced that it is hard to earn business achievement by only using entrepreneurial infra system in that entrepreneurial infra system has no effect on business achievement. Lastly, entrepreneurship infra system has no relationship as mediating effects with effects of entrepreneurship on business achievement in mediating effect test. While young CEOs with entrepreneurship create business achievement without using entrepreneurship infra, entrepreneurship infra has relationship as mediating effect with effect of entrepreneurial preparation on business achievement. Namely, we induced the result that using entrepreneurship infra aggressively improve achievement in entrepreneurial preparation. Through this study, we need entrepreneurship education for young CEOs and effort to develop entrepreneur's competence to improve achievement and we concluded that approaching systematically in entrepreneurial preparation and using various entrepreneurship infra aggressively are important factors to improve achievement.

The Effect of Company Characteristics and Individual Characteristics Perceived by Employees of Small Businesses on Job Satisfaction : Focusing on Intermediary Role of Company Innovation (중소기업 종업원의 지각된 기업특성과 개인특성이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 : 기업 혁신성의 매개 역할을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of company characteristics and individual characteristics perceived by employees of small businesses on job satisfaction and especially to seek activation of the organization by extending from previous studies to examine the intermediary role of company innovation and applying management measures focusing on the environment of changing global society where CEOs of small businesses cause job satisfaction of organizational members and present the direction for the improvement of management and institutional development. This study was carried out for about 2 months targeting employees of small businesses and the results of empirical analysis are as follows: First, company characteristics and individual characteristics perceived by employees of small businesses turned out to have a positive (+)effect on job satisfaction but the hypothesis that job stress affects job satisfaction was not significant. Second, of the effects of company characteristics and individual characteristics perceived by employees of small businesses on company innovation, organization flexibility and CEO's leadership, company communication and degree of cooperation between departments, individuals, challenge of individuals perceived individual characteristics were found to affect company innovation but the hypothesis that job stress affects it was not significant. Third, company innovation was found to have a positive (+)effect on job satisfaction and fourth, in the intermediary effect verification of company innovation between company characteristics and individual characteristics perceived by employees and job satisfaction, organization flexibility and communication, collaboration turned out to perform partial intermediation and CEO's leadership to perform full intermediation and individual challenge performance to perform full intermediation and the intermediary effect of job stress was not proven. These results are company characteristics and individual characteristics that is the perception of the independent variables in SME employees is not only a direct relationship with job satisfaction, suggesting that also has an indirect effect is mediated depending on the innovation of the company. Therefore, it can be seen that even for the innovation performance of enterprises is important to increase the job satisfaction of employees of SMEs. In particular, the conductivity of the leadership and individual parameters so completely over the innovativeness of the company is the result of job satisfaction itgetda can be said that the innovation efforts of the organization is effective at the same time be pursued.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the post management impact of consulting service for small and medium enterprise in Korea using hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results show that first, consulting activities have an effect on the consulting performance. Second, this research found that post management is an important moderate variable between consulting activities and performance. This study have an important meaning that we confirm a part of the knowledge management service for the consulting service, which is considered temporary task, to practice sustainability business.

The Effects of Entrepreneurs' Hope on Emotional Exhaustion and Psychological Well-Being (창업자의 희망이 감정적 소모와 심리적 웰빙에 미치는 영향)

  • Entrepreneurial hope plays an important role in entrepreneurship, but theoretical and practical understanding of what it is and what it does is lacking. This study examined the effects of entrepreneurs' hope on their emotional exhaustion and psychological well-being. Psychological well-being was classified into three dimensions: self-acceptance, personal growth, and positive relationships. Data were collected from 156 CEOs of entrepreneurial firms. Results of this study indicated that entrepreneurs' hope was negatively related to emotional exhaustion, but positively related to self-acceptance, personal growth, and positive relationships. Results also indicated that emotional exhaustion was negatively related to self-acceptance, personal growth, and positive relationships. Finally, the theoretical and practical implications of the results were discussed.

  • This paper suggests objective practical investment index for venture capital investment evaluation, deviating from investment behavior that relies on venture capitalist's intuition and experience. To deduct universally valid practical venture investment index, We conducted a survey of venture capitalist 65 and analyzed the data using AHP method. The results show that when VCs determine whether to invest in a venture or not, market related factors are considered most important. For venture companies who hope to receive investment from VCs, market access, CEO's technical / managerial experience, and recommendation/reputation are considered as crucial factors.

  • This study analyzed how the entrepreneurial orientation of Korean CEO influenced to the performance of companies in entertainment business. The research verified the direct influence that the entrepreneurial orientation of entertainment business affected the companies' performance, and examined the diversity of TMT and the control effect of corporate governance. This study contributed to previous researches in two ways. The first, the study verified the concept of entrepreneurial orientation on entertainment business which was only focused on manufacturing or IT industry although the entrepreneurial orientation received attention as a significant research issue on middle and small venture businesses. Second, the research also verified the characteristics of CEO and executives bringing the concept of TMT's diversity in entertainment companies which were dependent on person's capacity. As a result of the research, the entrepreneurial orientation (innovation, proactiveness, risk-taking) of entertainment entrepreneurs led to a positive effect on financial performance. The research showed that the more TMT was diverse or ownership oriented management, the more broadened the positive effects.

  • Based on the survey data, this study focused venture firms examines how organizational resources and capabilities along with its external environmental conditions have an effect on its strategy and performance. In particular, this article attempts, by performing a binary logistic regression analysis, to identify the venture-specific importance and priority of the factors that may influence firms' strategy patterns, with multiple regression analysis on the relationships between some variables included in the model. The survey was conducted from October 1, 2010 through October 30, 2010. The results of this study are the following. First, the more firms are exposed to high industry growth and low competitive intensity, the higher chance they get to pursuit aggressive strategy. And then a firm seeks aggressive strategy, when it has more technological resources and human resources. Third, environmental uncertainty, industry growth, technological resources, human resources, financial resources and marketing capabilities have positive effects on firm's performance. But, competitive intensity has no direct influence firm's performance. Finally, CEO competence directly influences firm's performance, but the interaction. of CEO competence with other variables is not significant.

  • This paper purposes to identify who is/are in charge of KBS broadcasting programming in view of freedom of broadcasting and interest of audience under the circumstance that Blue House put pressure on KBS to refrain from reporting Sewol Ferry disaster. For this purpose this study has reviewed prior theses, books, journals, laws, and cases, etc. It is analyzed that principal agents in charge of freedom of broadcasting journalism and programming are KBS employees in charge of producing broadcasting programs and KBS chief programming officer, who is appointed by KBS CEO. KBS CEO, who can easily be influenced by governmental pressure in terms of KBS structure, should avoid interfering with programming and producing directly or indirectly for freedom of the press and public interests.

  • 탁월한 성과를 내던 기업이 갑작스럽게 좌초되곤 한다. 이때 그 주된 문제점을 들여다보면 빠지지 않는 문제가 하나 있다. 바로, 소통(疏通)의 문제다. 고객과의 소통에 실패해 고객의 마음을 잘못 읽었거나, 조직 내부 소통의 장벽을 쌓고 있는 경우이다. 창의성의 시대에는 이 같은 소통의 문제가 더 중요한 이슈로 떠오를 전망이다. 아무리 좋은 품질과 비용 우위를 갖춘 제품일지라도 고객의 마음 속에 울림을 주지 못한다면 시장으로부터 외면 받을 가능성이 크다. 개개인의 창의성이 집단의 창의성으로 승화되는 것은 서로의 다양한 지식과 경험을 자유롭게 소통할 수 있을 때 가능하다. 이와 같이 소통은 고객 가치 창출의 근간, 집단 창의성 발현의 토대 등의 중요한 밑거름이 되고 있다. 집단의 창의성을 극대화하기 위해서는 다양한 경험과 지식을 가진 인재들이 서로 통섭 할 수 있게 해야하며, 이들의 창의적 아이디어가 잘 공유될 수 있는 시스템과 제도가 뒷받침되어야 한다. 또한, 건전한 피드백이 숨쉬는 상호 신뢰와 협력적 조직 문화가 구축되어야 한다. 무엇보다 CEO가 그 선봉장 역할을 할 필요가 있다. 또한 조직 내부의 집단 지성이 고객과의 소통으로 이어질 수 있도록 할 수 있을 때 진정한 고객 가치 창출이 가능하며, 지속적인 성과 창출을 하는 기업으로 거듭날 수 있을 것이다.
