초고속정보통신 홍보부문 전담기관인 한국정보문화센터에서는 지난 1월 초고속정보통신 홍보용 CD-ROM 타이틀을 제작하여, 초고속계획과 관련된 정부/공공기관, 각급대학, 언론기관 등에 배포하였다. 이 타이틀은 초고속정보통신기반구축이라는 국가적 사업에 대해 일반 국민과 산,학,연 등 관계자들의 이해의 폭을 넓히고 다함께 참여할 수 있게 하는데 도움이 되도록 그 추진방향과 세부계획을 보여주고 있다. 그리고 국내외의 초고속정보통신망구축계획과 관련된 정보 및 가상으로 꾸며본 2005년의 '초고속 씨' 일가족의 하루일과 등을 생생한 멀티미디어 정보로 표현하고 있어 보는 이로 하여금 흥미로움을 더해주고 있다. 아울러 인터넷의 설치 및 이용, 각종정보내용 및 사이트 소개, 인터넷 검색 브라우저의 소개 및 특성 등을 초보자가 알기 쉽게 설명하고 있으며, 사용자가 혼자서 즐길 수 있는 몇종류의 재미있는 게임까지 수록하고 있어서 타이틀 제작의 세심함을 엿볼 수 있다.

우정성은 통신백서(1998년 통신에 관한 현황 보고)를 5월 26일 각료 회의 후에 공표하였다. 이번 백서는 $\ulcorner$디지털 네트워크 사회 개막$\~$변해가는 라이프스타일$\~$$\lrcorner$이라는 제목의 특집호로 구성되었다. 본 특집에서는 급속히 보급되고 있는 인터넷, 휴대전화, CS 디지털 방송 등의 미디어가 일, 취미$\cdot$오락, 학습 등의 생활에 주는 영향을 분석하고 있다. 또 정보 literacy의 일$\cdot$미 비교 등도 실시하여 $\ulcorner$다양한 선택$\lrcorner$과 $\ulcorner$자유로운 참가$\lrcorner$의 기회가 제공되어,$\ulcorner$개성 발휘$\lrcorner$를 할 수 있는 보다 풍부하게 열린 $\ulcorner$디지털 네트워크 사회$\lrcorner$실현을 위한 과제를 제시하고 있다. 이외에 본 백서에서는 정보통신의 현황분석이나, 정보통신산업의 일$\cdot$미 비교, 사이버 비즈니스의 특성 분석, 도도부현의 정보화 분석 등을 나타내고 있다. 또한 작년에 이어, CD-ROM판을 첨부한 책자 및 DVD-ROM판 백서를 판매하고 있다. 금년부터 일본의 백서로는 처음으로, 인터넷상에 공표일 당일부터 백서 전문을 게재하였다. 1998년 백서는 3장으로 구성되어 있는데 각 장의 포인트를 소개하고자 한다.

In high speed optical disc devices, the vibration caused by unbalanced displacement leads the focus and tracking servo systems to be unstable, and increases the data search time. In this paper, we propose a new scheme to solve the unbalanced displacement problem. The proposed method detects the unbalanced rate by differential amplifying optical power received at photo diode and converts it into an electrical signal. controlling the speed of spindle motor, according to the detected unbalanced rate, makes it possible to improve the performance of tracking and data searching tasks. Also, we analyze the dynamic characteristics of focus and tracking servo systems in high speed mode and provide the firmware and hardware architecture that the proposed method can be installed as an add-on- module in the existing system.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the edition of 21 of the Dewey Decimal Classificatin. Edition 21 includes major revisions of three schedules : 350-354 Public administration, 370 Education, and 560-590 Life sciences. The aim of Edition 21 was user convenience, Regularization, Faceting, Terminology, International needs and Cooperative development and Changes in the database. The Dewey Decimal Classification is preparing for the future in a number of ways. Editorial work is supported by a UNIX-based system and access to online bibliographic databases. Two edition of Electronic Dewey have been published and a Windows version have been published.

Appearance of full-text online is the most encouraging phenomenon ·during the development of databases. The full-text databases of today is derived from by-product of electronic publication of printed materials. Now, there are also some movements toward electronic production of documents in Korea although not powerful. The present study is designed to examine the characteristics and effective retrieval method of full-text databases now commercially available through various vendors. The outline of this paper IS as follows: First, background and present situation of existing full-text database services through national and worldwide are examined. Second, free-text searching system of full-text databases is compared with controlled vocabulary system. The factors influencing on free-text retrieval performance, searching thesaurus, and hybrid or compromising system, which is using limited controlled vocabulary in conjunction with natural language for the enrichment needed for practical operation of the . system, are examined. Third, user demands through the analysis of preceding studies on 'various types of full-text databases are recognised. Fouth, application of CD-ROM full-text database to the libraries and information centers is examined as prospective resources for them. Finally, some problems and prospect of full-text databases are presented.

In this competitive environment which changes rapidly na extensively we can perceive that the role of education is getting important more and more. The challenge that we face is how we can handle the information and convert it to the knowledge. A lot of schools have already tried to improve the effect of education by using the computers. Besides providing the content of education newly and interestingly the educational use of the integrated Media has a strong point in terms of efficiency and effectiveness that it is excellent in storage, communication, control and handling enormous information as well as in a peculiarity of reciprocity, the high usefulness of communicative education using the experience of vision, audition and simulation in the method of participating of students themselves in education that the previous media systems didn't have. This thesis brought up a substantial problem in producing the consequences of education for children by investigating the psychological and recognitional abilities of children and by understanding the essence of the Integrated Media. And this study provided the solution in terms of the content and the viewpoint in design to raise the educational efficiency and effectiveness of the Integrated Media even though it is just a partial solution.

최근의 통신서비스 시장은 경쟁의 도입과 기술의 발전이라는 두 축에 힘입어 양질의 서비스를 보다 저렴한 요금으로 소비자들에게 제공하고자 노력하여 왔다. 그러나 이러한 통신서비스의 질적 향상 노력에도 불구하고 여전히 통신서비스의 품질은 소비자들의 기대수준에는 미치지 못하고 있다는 지적이 있다 더욱이 문제가 되는 것은 소비자가 인지하고 있는 통신 서비스 품질의 기대수준은 시간의 흐름에 따라 동태적으로 변화하는 것이어서 한 시점에서의 통신 서비스 품질 수준의 측정으로는 정책적으로 큰 의미를 설명하기 어려운 실정이다. 이와 관련하여 많은 선행 연구들이 다양한 측면에서 시행되어져 왔지만 이제까지의 많은 선행 연구들은 대부분이 통신서비스의 특성을 제대로 고려하지 않고, 고객만족의 향상과 불일치를 가져오고 있는 성능품질만을 측정한다거나, 시간의 흐름에 따라 변화해 가는 소비자가 서비스에 대해 인지하고 있는 중요도나 기대수준을 고려하지 않고 있으며, 각 구성요소간의 동태적 인과고리에 대한 고려 없이 연구가 이루어져 전반적인 통신 서비스의 고객만족을 전체적인 시각에서 평가한 연구는 극히 드물다. 따라서 본 연구는 통신서비스의 고객만족을 피드백 관점, 동태적 관점, 사실적 관점의 시스템 다이내믹스 방법론을 적용하여 전반적인 동태적 고객만족 모형을 구현하고 이를 정책적으로 활용할 수 있는가에 대한 접근을 시도하였다. 고객만족은 결코 한순간에 머물러 있는 것이 아니며 체감품질 및 기대수준의 영향을 받아 지속적으로 변화해간다 따라서 어떻게 기대수준을 관리하고 고객의 기대에 부응하는 체감품질을 관리하는 것이 지속적인 고객만족을 획득할 수 있는 가를 시뮬레이션 모형을 통해 가시적으로 시스템의 행태를 구현함으로써 그 이해의 폭을 넓히고자 시도하였다.으로써 웹에서의 혁신적이며 크로스 사이트, 크로스 장르적인 컨텐츠 플래닝의 가능성을 시사하는데 의의가 있다고 하겠다.y used to some of interactive storytelling through hyper text in CD-ROM and web sites. In digital age, multimedia technology has changed the learning method as a learner-directed way. CD-rom and internet that are major two multimedia learning way, has aimed at edutainment which combine education and entertainment. However, existing educational contents can only induce temporary learning motivation, and are in short of entertaining factors enough to induce continuous and ingenuous learning motivation. Therefore, in order to be used by users efficiently, educational software have to adapt characteristics of educational game more actively. In this paper, adoption method of characteristics of educational game in learning contents is sought and the specific example of adoption is demonstrated by a case study of developing vocabulary learning educational game.

e-Learning can be seen as not only one of Internet based information systems which can provide education services, but also one of teaching-learning methods which can implement self-directed learning. This paper tests factors affecting the e-Learning performance based on information systems success model and self-efficacy theory using a field study. Questionnaires are collected from 216 students who are enrolling a e-learning class using online survey. The results are following: first, the service quality and self-efficacy are significant predictors of use intention, but system quality and information quality are not. second, the system quality, information quality, service quality and self-efficacy are significant predictors of user satisfaction. Third, use intention and user satisfaction are found to be a strong predictor of the learning performance.
