웹 카메라의 특성 분석 및 고해상도 행성촬영 (SPECIFIC ANALYSIS OF WEB CAMERA AND HIGH RESOLUTION PLANETARY IMAGING)

  • 일반적으로 웹 카메라는 PC간 화상통신을 위해 많이 쓰이고 있으나, 화소수도 적고 장시간 노출촬영도 불가능하기 때문에 천문용으로 사용하기에는 어려움이 있다. 하지만 장시간 노출이 필요 없는 달이나 행성 등을 촬영하기에는 부족함이 없기 때문에 아마추어 관측자들이 행성 촬영용으로 많이 이용하고 있다. 웹 카메라 중에 CCD를 사용한 Philips사의 ToUcam Pro II를 사용하여 행성촬영을 하였고, 촬영한 동영상은 상용 프로그램인 Registax를 이용하여 합성을 하였다. 또한 웹 카메라의 기본적인 특성을 알아보기 위해, CCD의 특성 분석에 활용하는 직선성, 이득 등의 특성을 살펴보았다. 행성 촬영할 때 기존에는 필름이나 디지털 카메라, CCD로 한 장씩 찍었지만, 웹 카메라로 촬영할 경우 동영상으로 촬영하여서 중은 이미지만을 골라서 합성하기 때문에, 훨씬 더 고해상도의 행성이미지 촬영이 가능하게 되었다. 행성관측 방법과 동영상 합성 방법 등에 대해 논의하기로 한다.

  • Due to the variety of signal processing and complicated mathematical analysis, it is not easy to accomplish 3D bin-picking with non-contact sensor. To solve this difficulties the reliable signal processing algorithm and a good sensing device has been recommended. In this research, 3D laser scanner and CCD camera is applied as a sensing device respectively. With these sensor we develop a two-step bin-picking method and reliable algorithm for the recognition of 3D bin object. In the proposed bin-picking, the problem is reduced to 2D intial recognition with CCD camera at first, and then 3D pose detection with a laser scanner. To get a good movement in the robot base frame, the hand eye calibration between robot's end effector and sensing device should be also carried out. In this paper, we examine auto-calibration technique in the sensor calibration step. A new thinning algorithm and constrained hough transform is also studied for the robustness in the real environment usage. From the experimental results, we could see the robust bin-picking operation under the non-aligned 3D hole object.

  • CCD camera is usually used for monitoring device. In most cases, he monitoring is performed from long distance. In this study, a camera system controlled through internet is developed. Using the system, not only we can get image information in real time but also we can control the orientation of the camera from long distance. Furthermore wireless communication is carried out between the camera and the server computer for verity of the application.

  • There are so many types of sensors which have been developed in order to construct intelligence robots. This paper presents the study of the movement of a vehicle robot using a CCD-Camera. The CCD-Camera is used as a sensor to control a vehicle robot in a stable movement. This vehicle robot is called CVR. The system is the combination of the CCD-Camera, the vehicle robot and a dedicated software controller. The stability of CVR is proven by studying the movement methodology. The performance of the movement is experimented.

  • In this paper, we describe reconstructed 3D-urban modeling techniques for laser scanner and CCD camera system, which are loading on the vehicle. We use two laser scanners, the one is horizon scanner and the other is vertical scanner. Horizon scanner acquires the horizon data of building for localization. Vertical scan data are main information for constructing a building. We compared extraction of edge aerial image with laser scan data. This method is able to correct the cumulative error of self-localization. Then we remove obstacles of 3D-reconstructed building. Real-texture information that is acquired with CCD camera is mapped by 3D-depth information. 3D building of urban is reconstructed to 3D-virtual world. These techniques apply to city plan. 3D-environment game. movie background. unmanned-patrol etc.

  • We developed a CCD camera that can observe wide fields on the sky. We tested the field of views using various lenses. For cooling the CCD chip, we used a thermoelectric cooling device and tested the cooling efficiency. This camera will continuously observe a part of the sky. The data from the camera will be used to decide the current weather condition by the real-time star counting program (SCount) which will be developed later.

  • In this paper we present a new visual approach for the robust bin-picking in a two-step concept for a vision driven automatic handling robot. The technology described here is based on two types of sensors: 3D laser scanner and CCD video camera. The geometry and pose(position and orientation) information of bin contents was reconstructed from the camera and laser sensor. these information can be employed to guide the robotic arm. A new thinning algorithm and constrained hough transform method is also explained in this paper. Consequently, the developed bin-picking demonstrate the successful operation with 3D hole object.

  • A computer aided system has been developed for the focal length measurement/compensation in camera manufacture. Signal data proportional to light intensity is obtained and sampled very rapidly from the line CCD. Based on the measured signal, the MTF performance is calculated, where the MTF is the ratio of magnitude of the output image to the input image. In order to find the optimum MTF performance, an effcient algorithm has been implemented using the least squares technique. The developed system has been applied to a practical camera manufacturing process, and demonstrated high productivity with high precision.

  • 항공사진촬영은 계획된 노선을 따라 항공기를 조정하여 적절한 위치에서 촬영을 수행하는 작업이다. 특히 3차원 공간데이터 구축을 위하여 사용되는 다각사진촬영시스템의 경우 대형 CCD가 중형 CCD를 사용함으로써 촬영면적이 크지 않아서 적절한 위치에서 촬영이 이루어 지지 않는 경우 충분한 중복도를 확보하지 못하여 외부표정요소 결정에 문제가 발생할 소지가 있다. 따라서, GPS/INS를 이용하여 정확한 항공기의 위치를 결정하여 사전에 계획된 위치에서 촬영을 실시함으로써, 정확한 3차원 공간데이터의 모델링을 수행할 수 있다.

  • A CCD camera is used to determine the position of the point sources that influence the measurement accuracy in the absolute interferometer. The principle of determination method is based on the GPS in which the position is determined by more than 3 distance information from the known positions. Two-dimensional array of photo-detectors in the CCD camera is used as known positions. Performing optimization of the cost function constructed with phase values measured at each pixel on the CCD camera, the position coordinates of each source is precisely determined.
