Enhancing the Session Security of Zen Cart based on HMAC-SHA256

  • Zen Cart is an open-source online store management system. It is used all over the world because of its stability and safety. Today, Zen Cart's session security mechanism is mainly used to verify user agents and check IP addresses. However, the security in verifying the user agent is lower and checking the IP address can affect the user's experience. This paper, which is based on the idea of session protection as proposed by Ben Adida, takes advantage of the HTML5's sessionStorage property to store the shared keys that are used in HMAC-SHA256 encryption. Moreover, the request path, current timestamp, and parameter are encrypted by using HMAC-SHA256 in the client. The client then submits the result to the web server as per request. Finally, the web server recalculates the HMAC-SHA256 value to validate the request by comparing it with the submitted value. In this way, the Zen Cart's open-source system is reinforced. Owing to the security and integrity of the HMAC-SHA256 algorithm, it can effectively protect the session security. Analysis and experimental results show that this mechanism can effectively protect the session security of Zen Cart without affecting the original performance.

Motion Analysis of a Translating Flexible Beam Carrying a Moving Mass

  • This paper investigates vibrational motion of a flexible beam fixed on a moving cart and carrying a moving mass. The equations of motion of the beam-mass-cart system are analysed through the unconstrained modal analysis. The exact normal mode solution used in modal analysis correspond to the eigenfrequencies for each position of the moving mass and to the ratios of the weight of the beam-mass-car system. Time solutions of normal modes are also transformed properly according to the position of the moving mass. Numerical simulations are carried out to obtain open-loop responses of the system in tracking pre-designed paths of the moving mass. The simulation results show that the model predicts the dynamic behavior of the beam-mass-cart system well. Experiments are carried out to show the validity of the proposed analytical method.

  • In this paper, the equations of motion of a Bernoulli-Euler cantilever beam fixed on a moving cart and carrying a lumped mass concentrated at an arbitrary position along the beam is derived. The motion of the beam-mass-cart system is analyzed through unconstrained modal analysis, and a unified characteristic equation for calculating the natural frequencies of the system is obtained. The changes of natural frequencies and the corresponding mode shapes with respect to the changes in mass ratios of the system and to the concentrated position of the lumped mass are investigated with the frequency equation, which can be generally applied to this kind of systems. The exact and assumed-mode solutions including the dynamics of the base cart are obtained, and the open-loop responses of the system by arbitrarily designed forcing function are given by numerical simulations. The results match well with physical phenomena even at the extreme cases where the concentrated mass is attached to the bottom and to the top of the beam.

데이터마이닝을 활용한 이직의도와 조직몰입의 결정요인에 대한 연구 (A Study of The Determinants of Turnover Intention and Organizational Commitment by Data Mining)

  • 본 논문에서는 조직관련 변수들의 연구를 위해 이직의도와 조직몰입을 목표(종속)변수로서 데이터마이닝 시뮬레이션을 실시하여 접근 방법을 찾고 분석결과 도출을 목적으로 하였다. 데이터마이닝 분석방법 중 CART 앙상블 기법을 활용하였다. 자료는 한국직업능력개발원의 인적자본기업패널조사 1차~3차(2005~2009)데이터를 사용하였다. 조직몰입 변수는 다항목 측정 사항에 대해 신뢰성, 단일차원성 검토를 실행 후 합산척도 변수를 생성하여 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이직의도에 대한 주요 결정요인은 신뢰, 커뮤니케이션, 인재 중시 풍조 아이템으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조직몰입에 대한 주요 결정요인은 신뢰, 근속기간, 혁신, 커뮤니케이션 아이템으로 나타났다. 데이터마이닝 방법의 CART 앙상블 방법으로 Bagging과 Arcing 알고리즘을 적용한 결과 Arc-x4 방법이 매우 높은 결정계수를 나타낸 시나리오를 추출했다. 본 연구에서는 데이터마이닝 방법 중 하나인 CART 앙상블 시뮬레이션을 통해 최대치의 결정계수, 최소치의 오류를 산출한 시나리오 모델을 도출하고 실무적 시사점을 제시하였으며 한계점 및 향후 연구에 대해 논의되었다.

  • B2B EC 플랫폼에서의 구매 프로세스를 지원하기 위한 구매자 쇼핑카트는 위치에 따라 판매자쪽의 s-cart, 중개자쪽의 i-cart, 구매자쪽의 b-cart로 분류할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 B2B EC에서의 구매자 쇼핑카트의 요구기능을 사용자 식별, 상품정보수집, 물품정보제거, 주문처리, 지불처리, 진행사항 추적, 구매기록, 구매의사결정지원, 전자구매시스템에 구매기록 전송 등 9 가지로 제시하고, 이러한 관점에서 각 구매자 쇼핑카트에 대한 정성적인 비교 분석을 시도한다. 그리고 효율평가모델 제시를 통한 정량적인 분석과 상장기업 30개사의 구매직원에 대한 인터뷰를 통한 변수값 설정을 통해서 B2B EC환경에서의 구매자 쇼핑카트의 효율성 평가를 시도한다. 본 논문을 통해서 B2B EC환경에서는 b-cart 방식의 구매자쇼핑카트 방법이 효율적인 플랫폼임을 제시한다.

Verification of a computer-aided replica technique for evaluating prosthesis adaptation using statistical agreement analysis

  • PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the reliability of computer-aided replica technique (CART) by calculating its agreement with the replica technique (RT), using statistical agreement analysis. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A prepared metal die and a metal crown were fabricated. The gap between the restoration and abutment was replicated using silicone indicator paste (n = 25). Gap measurements differed in the control (RT) and experimental (CART) groups. In the RT group, the silicone replica was manually sectioned, and the marginal and occlusal gaps were measured using a microscope. In the CART group, the gap was digitized using optical scanning and image superimposition, and the gaps were measured using a software program. The agreement between the measurement techniques was evaluated by using the 95% Bland-Altman limits of agreement and concordance correlation coefficients (CCC). The least acceptable CCC was 0.90. RESULTS. The RT and CART groups showed linear association, with a strong positive correlation in gap measurements, but without significant differences. The 95% limits of agreement between the paired gap measurements were 3.84% and 7.08% of the mean. The lower 95% confidence limits of CCC were 0.9676 and 0.9188 for the marginal and occlusal gap measurements, respectively, and the values were greater than the allowed limit. CONCLUSION. The CART is a reliable digital approach for evaluating the fit accuracy of fixed dental prostheses.

심혈관질환 위험 예측을 위한 비용민감 학습 모델 (Cost-Sensitive Learning for Cardio-Cerebrovascular Disease Risk Prediction)

  • 본 연구에서는 기계 학습을 사용하여 심혈관 질환 예측 모델을 제안한다. 먼저 두 집단간에 다양한 차이를 다차원분석하고 그 결과를 시각화한다. 특히, 질환과 같이 정상집단과 환자집단 간에 높은 클래스 불균형이 존재하는 경우에 대하여 민감도를 향상시킬 수 있는 비용 민감 학습을 사용하는 예측 모델을 제안한다. 본 연구에서는 대표적인 머신러닝 기술인 CART와 XGBoost를 사용하여 예측모델을 개발하고, 심혈관 질환 환자 데이터를 대상으로 예측하고 성능을 비교한다. 연구결과에 따르면 CART가 XGBoost 보다 더 높은 정확도와 특이도를 보였으며, 정확도는 약 70%~74%로 나타났다.

Analysis of the Timing of Spoken Korean Using a Classification and Regression Tree (CART) Model

  • This paper investigates the timing of Korean spoken in a news-reading speech style in order to improve the naturalness of durations used in Korean speech synthesis. Each segment in a corpus of 671 read sentences was annotated with 69 segmental and prosodic features so that the measured duration could be correlated with the context in which it occurred. A CART model based on the features showed a correlation coefficient of 0.79 with an RMSE (root mean squared prediction error) of 23 ms between actual and predicted durations in reserved test data. These results are comparable with recent published results in Korean and similar to results found in other languages. An analysis of the classification tree shows that phrasal structure has the greatest effect on the segment duration, followed by syllable structure and the manner features of surrounding segments. The place features of surrounding segments only have small effects. The model has application in Korean speech synthesis systems.

B2B EC에서의 전자시장과 ERP의 통합 접근방식 분석 (Analysis of Approaches of Integrating e-Marketplace with ERP in B2B EC)

  • Among EC areas. the B2B EC market is being spotlighted as an important interesting research area considering its size and the potential impact on companeies and the whole society. In comparison with private consumers in B2C EC. business buyers in B2B EC have to precisely keep track of the purchase records. and integrate them with the buyer's e-procurement system, which might have been implemented as a part of integrated ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. There are three approaches for such integration between ERP and e-marketplace in B2B EC; Two previous approaches are Inside-Out approach and Outside-In approach. And a newly, one is b-cart approach. In this paper, we try to survey these three approaches and make a comparison analysis. From this research. we identify that the b-cart approach is the most efficient framework in integrating ERP with e-marketplace in B2B EC.

  • 본 연구는 보험 회사의 파산 예측을 위하여 신경회로망이 사용되는데 이를 최적화하기 위하여 유전자 알고리즘이 사용된다. 유전자 알고리즘은 최적의 네트워크 구조와 매개변수들을 제시해 준다. 유전자 알고리즘에 의해 설계된 신경회로망은 파산 예측을 함에 있어 discriminant analysis, logistic regression, ID3, CART 등과 비교되는데 가장 좋은 성능을 보여준다.
