STEP은 제품모델 정보를 서로 다른 CAD 시스템에서 교환할 수 있게 하기위한 중립형식의 국제표준으로서 CALS/EC의 구현을 위해 필수적인 핵심기반 기술이다. 선박 관련 STEP은 지금까지 미국과 유럽의 여러 연구사업을 통해 개발되어 오고 있으며 AP215(선박구획배치), AP216(선박선형), AP217(선박배관), AP218(선박구조)은 올해 안에 CD(Committee Draft) 안이 완성될 예정이다. 우리나라는 일본과 함께 세계 조선시장을 양분하고 있는 조선 강국이면서도 관련 정보기술의 낙후로 STEP 기술 개발에는 미온적이었으나 최근 선박해양공학분소에서 과기부의 특정과제로 수행하는 KS-STEP 과제를 통하여 ATS 318 (AP218, 선박구조의 ATS) 개발 책임을 맡게되어 본격적인 관련 연구를 시작하게 되었다. 여기에서는 ATS 318 개발을 위해 조선소와 선급 등 선박관련 업체들의 기술 정보 교환 프로세스를 분석하여 나타내었다. 각 프로세스에서 요구되는 기술정보의 형태와 추상화 정도가 분석되고 선박 STEP AP들의 기반 구조인 SCM(ship common model)에서 어떻게 그들 특성을 지원해야 하는지를 검토하였다.

This paper presents a prototype of document schema to guarantee the consistency of the bridge design information during the life-cycle of bridge. The main component of document schema for bridge design information is derived from the Document Type Definition (DTD) Pool which is the Construction CALS/EC standard in Korea and the document schema is implemented by using the XML Schema. The ifcXML are adopted for representing product data of bridge. A pilot system adopting the document schema and its application to existing bridge show that the suggested document schema can be efficiently used to develop software modules supporting the integrated design documents for bridges.

이기종 간의 문서 교환 표준으로 제안되 SGML은 문서의 구조정보를 표현할 수 있는 장점으로 인해 CALS(Commerce At Light Speed), EC(Electronic Commerce), EDI(Electronic Data Interchange), 전자 도서관(Digital Library) 등 여러 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 이렇게 SGML이 여러 분야에서 사용됨에 따라 많은 SGML 문서 중에서 원하는 문서를 효율적으로 찾아줄 수 있는 검색 시스템의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구실에서는 기본적인 구조 검색을 지원하는 SGML 문서 관리시스템을 기개발하였다. 그러나 이 시스템은 구조 검색을 효과적으로 지원하기 못하기 때문에 본 연구에서는 구조 검색의 기능을 정의하고, 이를 지원하는 새로운 구조 질의어를 정의하였다. 또한 이러한 구조 검색을 효과적으로 지원하기 위한 구조 색인을 정의하였다. 그리고 구조 검색 방식으로 세가지 방식을 각각 구현 및 실험하여 그 중에서 성능이 뛰어난 절충식을 이용하여 검색 시스템을 구현하였다.

B2C is not doing well in Asia and Pacific countries in comparison to U.S. and Europe. But there is misunderstanding of low growth of B2C electric commerce caused by cultural factor. Consumers in market are rational to decide their purchase according to total cost - market price and transaction cost. I examined this with data of Korea and U.S. Transaction cost in real market is less in Korea than in U.S. but that of electric commerce, it is much less in U.S. As a result, the choice of consumers in Korea is real market transaction while consumers in U.S. choose electric commerce.

인터넷을 기반으로 하는 전자상거래 환경에서 데이터 공유 문제를 해결하기 위하여 XML을 이용한 시스템들이 적용되고 있다. 하지만 서로 다른 DTD를 기반으로 작성된 응용 시스템 경우에는 의미에 대한 공유가 이루어지지 못하게 되므로 XML을 이용한 데이터 공유 및 교환은 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 X3.285에서 제시한 개념적 메타 모델(Conceptual MetaModel)을 토대로 데이터 레지스트리(DR)모델을 구축하고 전자상거래 표준 프로토콜(UN/EDIIFACT,XML/EDI, OTP)들로부터 공통된 데이터 요소를 정의하여 데이터 레지스트리(이하 DR)를 구축하였다. 구축된 DR 은 서로 다른 형식의 전자상거래 시스템간의 데이터 유통을 가능하게 하고, 데이터에 대한 식별 및 등록 서비스 기능을 제공하게 된다. 따라서 웹 환경에서의 DR를 기반으로 하는 다양한 전자상거래 응용 시스템 개발 및 운용이 가능하다.

건설사업을 시행하면서 발생하는 법정 서식문서를 사업주체간에 보다 원활하게 교환하기 위해서는 서식 문서의 전자화가 선행되어야 한다. 서식문서를 XML로 전자화 할 때 사업주체가 공통으로 활용할 수 있는 문서의 논리구조 정립이 필요하다. 이를 위해서 1,500여 개의 건설관련 법정 서식문서와 건설CALS/EC 사업에서 개발한 XML 전자문서를 조사.분석하였다. 분석된 결과를 바탕으로 서식문서의 공통 구성체계와 구성요소를 구조화하고 이론 XML 규칙에 따라 24개 대표 엘리먼트로 구성된 공통 DTD를 개발하였다.

건설CALS/EC 체계에 따라 도로건설공사에서 생성되는 설계문서를 발주자, 설계자 및 시공자 등 참여 주체간에 보다 효과적으로 교환하기 위해서는 특정 하드웨어나 소프트웨어에 구애를 받지 않으면서 표준화된 전자문서 정보체계에 따라 전자화해야 한다. 이를 위해 다양한 유형을 갖는 설계문서에서 반복적이면서 빈번하게 나타나는 공통 구성체계와 정보요소를 대상으로 설계문서 공통 DTD를 개발하였다.

A legal system is designed to regulate social phenomena appropriately minimizing potential disputes arising out of conflicts with social phenomena and to seek for stability of legal life. The development of information technology and network infrastructure changed way of communication significantly, which realized the new transactional concepts, such as EDI(Electronic Data Interchange), Commerce At Light Speed(CALS) and Electronic Commerce(EC). However, current legal systems of each nation, which are based upon the paper document, do not seem to accomodate such types of emerging transactions. In that context, we can observe many issues which cannot be resolved among the parties involved in such transactions even under the several sui-generis statutes regarding EDI in Korea. Based upon the recognition of the above circumstances, this paper will browse legislative efforts in advanced countries and international institutions like UNCITRAL, and WTO. Also this will cover outstanding issues in relation with the deployment of electronic commerce in Korea and suggest what should be revisited for better accommodation of the changes going on.

This paper is to evaluate the informational direction, current situations and ERP establishment concerning constructing industry, to present the right directions, implemented cases for implementing constructional ERP, also to suggest the effect, influence, problems and shootings in constructional ERP arena. The constructing industries in korea are facing great turning point because of the huge corruptions currently happened and forcing to open the market in 1997. Attempting to establish Computer Integrated construction system (ERP) by breaking down constructing cost, improving quality, operating rapid and effective construction to enhance productivity, it is hard to achieve the goal with only inter-contractor's establishment. Constructing industries are integrated ones, consisted of many organizations for instance ordering agencies, contractors, subcontractors, material vendors, etc. and use various information formats such as texts, graphics, drawings. I dare suggest that implementation of constructional CALS including EDI/EC, GIS is tile only solution to control the information systematically generated in whole stages from planing, designing, constructing through maintenance, and to supply or switch the information.

Information systems, which support information security functions such as CALS and EC systems, should have cryptographic functions for information in order to storage and communicate securely. Additionally, including recovery of lost keys, lots of cryptographic keys should be securely managed. In this paper, we present some results of development of a key recovery system for recovery of encrypted data. The proposed system, in a type of key encapsulation approach, confirms to NIST's RKRP(Requirements for Key Recovery Products) that is a defecto international key recovery standard, as well as CC 2.0 that is a international security evaluation criteria. A message sender secretly choices two or more key recovery agents from a pool of key recovery agents. The key recovery information is generated by using the recovering key, random keys and public keys of the chosen agents. A message receiver can not know which key recovery agents are involved in his key recovery service. We have developed two versions of prototype of key recovery system such as C/Unix and Java/NT versions. Our systems can be used for recovery of communicating informations as well as storing informations, and as a new security service solution for electronic commerce service infrastructures.
