A Study on Strength Evaluation of LCD Glass for Drop test (액정 디스플레이(LCD) 낙하 충격해석에 관한 연구)

  • As the structure of a mobile phone becomes thin to catch up with a slim product trend, the reliability of a LCD module is on the rise as a big issue for a product design. A drop test is the most basic and important verification method for a mechanical quality control but it requires much time and cost during a product development process. Thus many manufacturers have considered design guide lines using CAE and simulation for more effective usage of limited resources on the market. In this paper, the Maximum Principle Stress of a LCD glass panel is calculated on the basis of explicit FE Analyses method and input conditions are determined according to the general test standard. The design guideline for reliability improvements are suggested on the basis of the results of FE Analysis.

  • This study investigates numerical analysis for robot welder fume flow and gantry structure. The solvers are STAR-CCM+ and ANSYS workbench used on flow and structural analysis. The results show that fume is diffused in factory when the welding fume is remove at dust collector. But dust collector intercepts the fume diffusion into workroom by removing most of welding fume. Structure analysis result shows that the reinforcement rod is evaluated to main the safety by supporting sufficient structure.

  • CAE(Computer Aided Engineering, 전산공학해석, '해석'으로 약칭)의 영역은 날이 갈수록 그 범위가 점점 더 넓어지고 있습니다. 기존의 해석은 제품을 설계하는 단계에 등장하여 설계자에게 보다 나은 설계안을 위한 방향을 제시해 주는 조연의 역할에 머물러 있지만, 지금은 제품개발의 시작단계인 디자인에서부터 중간단계인 설계, 그리고 끝단계인 생산기술개발까지 모든 분야에 없어서는 안될, 제품개발의 주연이 되어가고 있습니다.

Factor Effects of Low-Frequency Instability of Brake System Using Complex Eigenvalue Analysis (복소 고유치 해석을 통한 브레이크 시스템의 저주파 불안정성 영향인자 분석)

  • The present study conducted a parameter effect analysis of low-frequency squeal noise using a numerical simulation. The finite element program ABAQUS was used to calculate the dynamic instability based on a complex eigenvalue analysis. A total of five parameters, including the chassis, wear, piston, material property, and contact condition, were selected to identify the factor effects on a low-frequency squeal noise between 2.5 and 3.1 kHz. The present study found the dominant level of each factor through an analysis of the means in the context of the experiment design.
