구조해석을 위한 응용 웹서비스 프레임워크 개발에 관한 연구

  • 공학해석기반의 설계/제조 시스템에서의 설계는 설계평가와 설계 trade-offs로 구성되어 진다. 설계평가는 설계의 유용성을 평가하거나 CAD모델을 공학해석 모델로 변환하여 구조해석을 통하여 평가하기 위해 사용되며 이러한 평가결과를 근거로 성능치를 정의하고 CAD모델에서의 치수가 trade-offs 해석을 위한 설계변수로 정의되어 진다. 설길 trade-offs는 개선된 설계를 얻기 위한 목적으로 수행되는 데 설계변경은 CAD와 공학해석 모델로 피드백하게 된다.(중략)

  • 부유 이송식 해상풍력 기초를 목표 지점에 설치하기 위해서는 내부의 중공부에 해수를 주입하여 착저 시키게 되는데, 그 과정에서 중량 및 무게 중심과 부력중심이 변하게 되어 부유식 기초가 불안정해 질 수 있다. 부유 이송식 기초의 동적안정성 해석은 기초 외부의 수력학적 하중과 6-자유도 운동을 하게 되는 기초에 작용하는 파도와 조류 하중 및 설치 과정에서 기초 내부의 중공부로 투입되는 해수의 무게중심 이동까지 동시에 고려해야 하는 복잡한 문제이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 3차원 비정상 CFD 기법과 다물체 동역학 기법을 연성 (coupling)한 정밀 해석기법을 적용하여 부유 이송식 기초 내부 물의 슬로싱 운동까지 고려한 동적안정성 해석을 수행하고 특성을 분석하였다.

  • 본 연구는 NIST사에서 개발된 FDS를 기반으로한 GUI환경의 전처리 프로그램의 개발에 관한 것이다. 개발된 프로그램은 GUI환경에서 임의의 직육면체를 생성하고 편집할수 있으며 또한 국립지리원에서 보유중인 DXF의 수치지도를 이용하여 지형에 관련된 모델링을 가능 하도록 하였다. 복잡한 지형의 모델링기능과 GUI 환경에서의 편의성은 FDS의 활용도를 높여줄 것이며 이를 이용한 화재 모사는 화재 발생시 진압/대피의 효율을 높여 화재에 대한 피해를 줄일 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

CAD/CAE 통합 접근을 위한 T-스플라인 유한요소법 (T-spline Finite Element Method for CAD/CAE Integrated Approach)

  • T-splines are recently proposed geometric modeling tools. A T-spline surface is a NURBS surface with T-junctions and is defined by a control grid called T-mesh. Local refinement can be performed very easily for T-splines while it is limited for B-splines or NURBS. Using T-splines, patches with unmatched boundaries can be combined easily without special technique. In this study, the analysis methodology using T-splines is proposed. In this methodology, T-splines are used both for description of geometries and for approximation of solution spaces. Two-dimensional linear elastic and dynamic problems will be solved by employing the proposed T-spline finite element method, and the effectiveness of the current analysis methodology will be verified.

  • Application of CAE analyses are wide spread in shaping processes and structural safety verification of plastic products. The importance of CAE analysis and its contributions are getting increase since the processibility and structural safety of product can be predicted. CAE analysis for complex shaped product need a lot of time for modeling and computation compare with simpler one. Therefore careful simulation modeling is required for complex shaped product. Structural analysis for plastic door handle of automobile has been performed and structural safety has been investigated for various load directions and modeling cases. Large stress occurred at the hinge in handle regardless of load direction and modeling case. Consequently hinge is considered structurally very weak among the parts in plastic door handle. It is concluded that simple modeling rather than total modeling with adequate boundary condition equivalent to real situation gives reasonable computational results with saving modeling effort and computation time.

전자장비 안전설계를 위한 PCB의 설계단계별 열전달 해석 (Numerical Analysis of Heat Transfer of a Printed Circuit Boards for Safety Design of Electronic Equipment at Each Design Stage)

  • The natural convection cooling of simulated electronic chips located on a printed circuit board(PCB) has been studied by Computer Aided Engineering(CAE). In CAE, 3-dimensional finite element model of simulated electronic chip was made to accomplish heat transfer analysis at each design stage of a printed circuit boards for thermal optimization. The simulated electronic chips are installed protrudent from the plate about 3mm. The materials the plates are epoxy and aluminum. The results show that the chip with relatively high heat generation rates should not be close to each other. It is found, as well that cooling effect for the aluminum plate is superior to the epoxy plate and location of maximum temperature is significantly influenced by the structure variation of PCB. In developing PCB and electronic chips, it's recommended that CAE is very useful to estimate to the distribution of temperature.

  • In this study, computer applied engineering (CAE) techniques are fully used to conduct structural and dynamic analyses of a huge composite rotor blade. Computational fluid dynamics is used to predict aerodynamic load of the rotating wind-turbine blade model. Static and dynamic structural analyses are conducted based on finite element method for composite laminates and multi-body dynamic simulation tools. Various numerical results for aerodynamic load, static stress, buckling and dynamic analyses are presented and characteristics of structural behaviors are investigated herein.

  • Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) durability analysis and experiments of an aluminum alloy brake pedal were carried out for the car lighter by die casting method. In the CAE analysis, KS standards and criteria of the Volvo Car Corporation were applied, and in the experiment, KS standards were applied. The CAE analysis results show that aluminum alloy brake pedals are stronger than the conventional steel brakes pedals because the yield strength of the aluminum alloy increased by almost 97% over that of steel. Further, the structures of the cylinder and the frame were reinforced with increasing thickness of flame and were changed to suit the die-casting process. Through a durability test based on the KS standard, the strength of a prototype of the aluminum alloy brake pedal was confirmed to be sufficient.

  • The present work is investigated optimal design for the injection molding process of a hand brake cover. The viscoelastic flow through a hand brake cover shape in the mold were calculated and compared with the experimental data. Numerical analysis reasonably predicted the general performance i.e hold pressure, cooling time and hold pressure time. In order to determine optimal process parameters, Numerical analysis and experiments have been performed for various process conditions. In this study, we obtained to increase in the productivity by $160\%$ by optimal process conditions.

  • The tendency of current die manufacturing is focusing into development period shortening and panel quality improvement. This brings change of manufacturing process. In existing process, depended on experience, we were faced on a limit of sufficiency in this focus. Thus, we have attempted to make a conquest of that by constructing a process of CAE. Our attempt apply not only draw die formability but also trimming and flanging die formability with simulation of sheet metal. In this paper, we publish effects that were obtained by constructing a process.
