The performance and practicality of cryptosystem for encryption, decryption, and primality test is primarily determined by the implementation efficiency of the modular exponentiation of $a^b$(mod n). To compute $a^b$(mod n), the standard binary squaring still seems to be the best choice. But, the d-ary, (d=2,3,4,5,6) method is more efficient in large b bits. This paper suggests m-numeral system modular exponentiation. This method can be apply to$b{\equiv}0$(mod m), $2{\leq}m{\leq}16$. And, also suggests the another method that is exit the algorithm in the case of the result is 1 or a.
The chemical compositions and possible structure for the complex of B15C5 with Nd(Ⅲ) have been determined by NMR spectrophotometry in acetone-d6. On the stepwise additions of Nd(Ⅲ) to B15C5 solution of constant concentration, all the resonances shifted to downfield and the mole ratio of B15C5 to Nd(Ⅲ) was found to be 1 : 1. From the line broadening of proton peaks of NMR spectra, it was found that oxygen atoms in B15C5 interact with Nd(Ⅲ) ion. And in IR spectra of Nd(Ⅲ)-B15C5 complex, the band of asymmetric C-C-O stretching vibration shifted to a lower frequency region upon complexation. We have proposed the possible structure of the Nd(Ⅲ)-B15C5 coordinated with the five ether oxygen atoms and with the three bidentate nitrato groups.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate thermal properties of lab gowns developed from the point of safety and work efficiency. We evaluated thermal and subjective responses of subjects wearing functional new lab gowns (Type B, C, D) and a popular lab gown on the market (Type A). Type B was a new lab gown made of woven fabric with functional cuffs. Type C was a new apron made of woven fabric with arm protectors. Type D was a new lab gown made of non-woven material with functional cuffs and openings around the armpits. Temperature in the climatic chamber was set at 19$^{\circ}$C as an indoor temperature in winter and at 24$^{\circ}$C in summer. There were no significant differences in rectal temperature and heart rate among four types of gowns and between two air temperatures for 120 min. Mean skin temperature was much higher in the type A and B than in He type C and D (p .05). In the 19$^{\circ}$C air, clothing microclimate temperature on the back was the highest in the type B and was the lowest in the type C (p .05). Clothing microclimate humidity was not significant differences among gowns. In subjective .esponses, subjects perceived that Type B was the warmest gown in the 19$^{\circ}$C and the hottest and more humid in the 24$^{\circ}$C than other gowns. Inversely, type C was the coolest gown among four gowns. Both in the 19$^{\circ}$C and in the 24$^{\circ}$C, the Type D had gained most responses of being comfortable. In conclusion, the temperature difference of 5$^{\circ}$C was more of an influencing factor than the difference from four types of lab gowns. Secondly, we recommend the manufacturers to make lab gowns with functional cuffs for safety purposes. Thirdly, the spread of the type of apron with arm protector will contribute to increase of the frequency of wearing in summer. Fourthly, it is necessary to study continuously about lab gowns with non-woven materials for researchers exposed to toxic chemical and biological materials.
Four different fermentation methods of Korean cucumber pickles were compared with conventional method, pickling in 10% NaCl solution at $25^{\circ}C$, in order to improve the storage stability. The methods studied were brining the cucumbers in hot($90^{\circ}C$) 10% NaCl solution(method A), addition of KCl and $CaCl_2$ into the hot salt solution(method B) addition of a sodium salts mixture of phosphates, nitrite and citrate into half fermented pickles prepared by method B(method C), substituted nitrite and citrate with KCl in method C(method D). It was found from results that the method C and D reduced the decreasing rate of pH very significantly by more than 3 fold and method B also showed the reducing effect. However, higher total acidity was measured for method C and D, which was opposite to pH results. Changes in hardness of cucumber showed little difference to control while color of brining solution exhibited some difference in their Hunter values. Organoleptic comparison showed a clear effect of salts mixtures by receiving the significant higher scores in fresh cucumber flavor and lower values in yeast moldy and sour flavor for method C and D when those were compared to control.
Pigs may need to be exploited as xenotransplantation donors due to the shortage of human organs, tissues and cells. Porcine endogenous retroviruses (PERVs) are a significant obstacle to xenotransplantation because they can infect human cells in vitro and have the potential for transmission of unexpected pathogens to humans. In this research, 101 pigs, including four commercial breeds (23 Berkshire, 13 Duroc, 22 Landrace and 14 Yorkshire pigs), one native breed (19 Korean native pigs) and one miniature breed (10 NIH miniature pigs) were used to investigate insertional variations for 11 PERV loci (three PERV-A, six PERV-B and two PERV-C). Over 60% of the pigs harbored one PERV-A (907F8) integration and five PERV-B (B3-3G, B3-7G, 742H1, 1155D9 and 465D1) integrations. However, two PERV-A loci (A1-6C and 1347C1) and one PERV-B locus (B3-7F) were absent in Duroc pigs. Moreover, two PERV-C loci (C2-6C and C4-2G) only existed in Korean native pigs and NIH miniature pigs. The results suggest that PERV insertional variations differ among pig breeds as well as among individuals within a breed. Also, the results presented here can be used for the selection of animals that do not have specific PERV integration for xenotransplantation research.
Characteristics of the 5 biopesticides that included Bacillus thuringiensis and on the domestic markets were investigated. These products were contained different strains of B. thuringiensis, for examples; product A and E was B. thuringiensis subsp aizawai; product B was B. thuringiensis; product C was B. thuringiensis Berline var. kurstaki; product D was B. thuringiensis var. kurstaki. Number of active spores were counted because they could influence the bio-activity against target pests. Only product C are contained the fixed quantity as its label, however, product D and E were a tenth part, and product A and B were a hundredth part of their descriptions. The pHs of product A and B were measured 3.67 and 3.73, and C, D and E were 5, respectively. Typical bypyramidal crystals produced from B. thuringiensis was found in only product C under a phase contrast microscope. For the uniform formulation of products that conformed whether B. thuringiensis were equally spreaded on the crops, B. thuringiensis in the C, D and E were equally grown on the nutrient agar medium As a results, product A were more different from product C than any other products. When product A and C were bioassayed against different larval stages of diamondback moth, their mortalities with spraying application were showed 100% after 48 hours.

Bacillus sp. $\beta$-mannanase was purified by DEAE-sephadex ion exchange column chromatography. The partially purified P-mannanase exhibited maximum activity at pH 6.0 and 5$0^{\circ}C$, and was stable at a pH range of 5.5 to 7.0, and at temperature between 30 to 5$0^{\circ}C$. Konjac glucomannan was hydrolyzed by the purified $\beta$-mannanase, and then hydrolysates separated by 1st activated carbon column chromatography and 2nd sephadex G-25 gel filtration. The main hydrolysates were composed of D.P 5 and 7 glucomannooligosaccharides by TLC and FACE method. To investigate the effects of guar gum glucomannooligosaccharides on the in vitro growth of B. longum, B. bifidum, B. infantis, B. adolescentis, B. animalis, and B. breve, Bifidobacterium spp. were cultivated individually on the modified-MRS medium containing carbon SOUTce such as D.P 5, and D.P 7 glucomannooligosaccharides, respectively. B. longum grew up 4.6-fold and 5.3-fold more effectively by the replacement of D.P 5 and 7 glucomannooligosaccharides as the carbon source in a comparasion of standard MRS. Also, B. breve and B. animalis slightly grew up by the treatment of D.P 5 glucomannooligosaccharide.
Let X and Y be vector spaces. It is shown that a mapping $f:X{\rightarrow}Y$ satisfies the functional equation ${\ddag}$$$2df(\frac{x_1+{\sum}_{j=2}^{2d}(-1)^jx_j}{2d})-2df(\frac{x_1+{\sum}_{j=2}^{2d}(-1)^{j+1}x_j}{2d})=2\sum_{j=2}^{2d}(-1)^jf(x_j)$$ if and only if the mapping $f:X{\rightarrow}Y$ is additive, and prove the Cauchy-Rassias stability of the functional equation (${\ddag}$) in Banach modules over a unital $C^*$-algebra, and in Poisson Banach modules over a unital Poisson $C^*$-algebra. Let $\mathcal{A}$ and $\mathcal{B}$ be unital $C^*$-algebras, Poisson $C^*$-algebras, Poisson $JC^*$-algebras or Lie $JC^*$-algebras. As an application, we show that every almost homomorphism $h:\mathcal{A}{\rightarrow}\mathcal{B}$ of $\mathcal{A}$ into $\mathcal{B}$ is a homomorphism when $h(d^nuy)=h(d^nu)h(y)$ or $h(d^nu{\circ}y)=h(d^nu){\circ}h(y)$ for all unitaries $u{\in}\mathcal{A}$, all $y{\in}\mathcal{A}$, and n = 0, 1, 2, ${\cdots}$. Moreover, we prove the Cauchy-Rassias stability of homomorphisms in $C^*$-algebras, Poisson $C^*$-algebras, Poisson $JC^*$-algebras or Lie $JC^*$-algebras, and of Lie $JC^*$-algebra derivations in Lie $JC^*$-algebras.
Weizmannia coagulans can be used as a starter strain in fermented foods or as a probiotic. However, it is salt-sensitive. Here, W. coagulans genomes were compared with the genomes of strains of Bacillus species (B. licheniformis, B. siamensis, B. subtilis, and B. velezensis) that were isolated from fermented foods and show salt tolerance, to identify the basis for the salt-sensitivity of W. coagulans. Osmoprotectant uptake (Opu) systems transport compatible solutes into cells to help them tolerate osmotic stress. B. siamensis, B. subtilis, and B. velezensis each possess five Opu systems (OpuA, OpuB, OpuC, OpuD, and OpuE); B. licheniformis has all except OpuB. However, W. coagulans only has the OpuC system. Based on these findings, the opuA and opuB operons, and the opuD and opuE genes, were amplified from B. velezensis. Expression of each of these systems, respectively, in W. coagulans increased salt-tolerance. W. coagulans expressing B. velezensis opuA, opuD, or opuE grew in 10.5% NaCl (w/v), whereas wild-type W. coagulans could not grow in 3.5% NaCl. The salt resistance of B. subtilis was also increased by overexpression of B. velezensis opuA, opuB, opuD, or opuE. These results indicate that the salt-susceptibility of W. coagulans arises because it is deficient in Opu systems.
This paper describes the design of echo cancslling method(ECM) for transmission with full-duplex which ie transmitted on "2B+D"(144kbps)data through two-wire loop plants. The design objective is 40dB attenuation with a signal-to-noise ratio of $10{\sim}20dB$. Since the transhybrid loos can be as low as $6{\sim}10dB$, the required attenuation of the echo signal is on the order of $50{\sim}55dB$. The used algorithms based on the sign algorithm, and have been improved by using adoptive reference voltage level algorithm.
