Ad-hoc networks consist of a set of mobile hosts that communicate using wireless links, without the use of other supporting communication facilities (such as base stations, etc.). Therefore, the topology of an Ad-hoc network frequently changes due to the movement of mobile host, which nay lead to sudden packet loss. Recently, the large amount of research has focused on the routing protocols needed in such an environment. In this paper, TCP Reno, Sack, and Tahoe versions are analysed using DSR protocol which is the representative On-Demand routing protocol in Ad-hoc wireless network. As the result of this simulation, we know that TCP Reno relatively has higher throughput than that of Sack and Tahoe, and TCP Reno has more stable performance than that of TCP Tahoe and Sack, regardless of the speed of mobile node and the size of topology.
AQM (Active Queue Management) techniques such as RED (Random Early Detection) which be proposed to solve the congestion of internet perform congestion control effectively for TCP data. However, in the situation where TCP and UDP share the bottleneck link, they can not solve the problems of the unfairness and long queueing delay. In this paper, we proposed an simple queue management algorithm, called PSRED (Protocol Sensitive RED), that improves fairness and decreases queueing delay. PSRED algorithm improves fairness and decreases average queue length by distinguishes each type of flow in using protocol field of packets and applies different drop functions to them respectively.
Mullite-matrix and $Al_2O_3$-matrix composites were fabricated with 30 wt% hydroxyapatite (HA) and tricalcium phosphate (TCP), respectively, as additives to give bioactivity. A diphasic gel process was employed to lower the densification temperature of the mullite matrix to $1320^{\circ}C$. A polymer complexation process was used to synthesize a TCP powder that was fully densified at $1250^{\circ}C$, for application to the matrix. For the HA/mullite composite, HA decomposed during sintering by reactions with the matrix components of $Al_2O_3$ and $SiO_2$, resulting in a mixture of $Al_2O_3$, TCP, and other minor phases with a low densification of less than 88% of the theoretical density (TD). In contrast, the TCP/$Al_2O_3$ composite was highly densified by sintering at $1350^{\circ}C$ to 96%TD with no reaction between the components. Different from the TCP monolith, the TCP/$Al_2O_3$ composite also showed a fine microstructure and intergranular fracture, both of which characteristics are advantageous for strength and fracture toughness.
A powder mixture of 70 wt% $Al_2O_3$ and 30 wt% hydroxyapatite (HA) is sintered at $1300^{\circ}C$ or $1350^{\circ}C$ for 2 h at normal pressure. An $MgF_2$-added composition to make HA into fluorapatite (FA) is also prepared for comparison. The samples without $MgF_2$ show ${\alpha}$ & ${\beta}$-tricalcium phosphates (TCPs) and $Al_2O_3$ phases with no HA at either of the sintering temperatures. In the case of $1,350^{\circ}C$, a $CaAl_4O_7$ phase is also found. Densification values are 69 and 78 %, and strengths are 156 and 104 MPa for 1,300 and $1,350^{\circ}C$, respectively. Because the decomposition of HA produces a $H_2O$ vapor, fewer large pores of $5-6{\mu}m$ form at $1,300^{\circ}C$. The $MgF_2$-added samples show FA and $Al_2O_3$ phases with no TCP. Densification values are 79 and 87 %, and strengths are 104 and 143 MPa for 1,300 and $1,350^{\circ}C$, respectively. No large pores are observed, and the grain size of FA ($1-2{\mu}m$) is bigger than that of TCP ($0.7{\mu}m{\geq}$) in the samples without $MgF_2$. The resulting $TCP/Al_2O_3$ and $FA/Al_2O_3$ composites fabricated in situ exhibit strengths 6-10 times higher than monolithic TCP and HA.
In this paper, we controlled the deposition rate and reflective index with process conditions that are TCP power, gas flow ratio and bias for optical properties of $SiO_2$ thin film using TCP-CVD equipment. We obtained a excellent $SiO_2$ thin film which has a excellent uniformity (<1 [%]), deposition rate (0.28 [${\mu}m$/ min]) and reflective index (1.4610-1.4621) within 4" wafer with process conditions ($SiH_4:O_2$=50 : 100 [sccm], TCP power 1 [kW], bias 200 [W]) at [$300^{\circ}C$].

It is important to improve TCP performance in Self-similar TCP network where signalling between the same end nodes through bidirectional traffic routes. In wireless link, the traffic limitation pattern occurred in two or more TCP connections is applied into MPEC video control as multi time-interval congestion control. For TCP update variable, we extend TCP and perform as function call, and we study a method of relating TCP with LTS module controlling with the information type that is overcoming the limit of feedback loop determined by RTT. For comparison, we measure the TCP throughput without LTS and verify the fairness by means of meta control. The improved TCP performance is shown by that the number of connections of traffic congestion control increases when RTT increases.
Handoff is one of the most important factors that ma? degrade the performance of TCP connections in wireless data networks. In this paper, we present a lossless and duplication free handoff scheme called LPM (Last Packet Marking) for improving Cellular If semisoft handoff. LPM signals the safe handoff cue by sending a specially marked packet to mobile hosts. SPM (Semisoft rePly Message) is the only newly introduced control packet. Our performance study shows that LPM achieves lossless packet delivery without duplication and increases TCP throughput significantly.
Stream Control Transmission Protocol(SCTP) is a transport layer protocol to support the data transmission. SCTP is similar to Transmission Control Protocol(TCP) in a variety of aspects. However, several features of SCTP including multi-homing and multi-streaming incur the performance difference from TCP. This paper highlights the data transfer during the initial slow start phase in SCTP congestion control composed of slow start phase and congestion avoidance phase. In order to compare the mean transfer time between SCTP and TCP, we experiment with different performance parameters including bandwidth, round trip time, and data length. By varying data length, we also measure the corresponding initial window size, which is one of factors affecting the mean transfer time. For the experiment, we have written server and client applications by C language using SCTP socket API and have measured the transfer time by ethereal program. We transferred data between client and server using round-robin method. Analysis of these experimental results from the testbed implementation shows that larger initial window size of SCTP than that of TCP brings the reduction in the mean transfer time of SCTP compared with TCP by 15 % on average during the initial slow start phase.

In smart grid system which uses photovoltaic system, fuel cells and so on, a program implemented with C language is used for control and measurement. When using programs implemented with C language GUI is difficult to watch control and monitor the smart grid system. But LabVIEW is a graphical programming language and it is easy to design GUI screen and to manage many variables such as real-time output of electric power including solar cell, wind power system and fuel cell. This paper suggests LabVIEW and C-language TCP/IP communication for smart grid monitoring system i mplemented with C-language.
