Monitoring of Machining State in Turning by Means of Information and Feed Motor Current (NC 정보와 이송축 모터 전류를 이용한 선삭 가공 상태 감시)

  • In this research a monitoring system for turning using NC information and the current of feed motor as a monitoring signal was developed. The overall system consists of modules such as learning process, NC data transmission, generation of forecast information, signal acquisition, monitoring and post process. In the learning process, the reference data and the cutting force equation necessary for monitoring are obtained from the accumulated monitoring results. In the generation of forecast information, the information of forecasted cutting forces is acquired from the cutting force equation and NC program and appended to each NC block as a monitor code. Reliability of monitoring is improved by using the monitor code in the real-time monitoring. Monitoring module is divided into two parts : the off-line monitoring where errors of NC program are checked and the on-line monitoring where the level of motor current is monitored during cutting operations. If the actual current level exceeds the limit value provided by the monitor code in the level monitoring, it is recognized as abnormal. In the event of abnormal status, the post processor sends the emergency stop signal to NC controller to stop the operation. Actual experiments have shown that the developed monitoring system works well.

  • We put forward a scheme of the theory of analysis, and G. E. Moore's theory of analysis is reconstructed. As C. H. Langford pointed out, Moore's theory commits to the paradox of analysis which says that if a analysis is correct then it is not informative, and if it is informative it is not correct. For, according to his theory, analysing statement is necessarily true identity statement and have some information. Moorean responses which is given by Max Black, Raymond Bradley and Norman Swartz, and Wilfrid Sellars rely on the distinction between the information about concepts and linguistic entity. These approaches are deficient in dealing properly with the difference in concepts as analysandum and analysans. Also, non-Moorean resolutions asserted by Myers, King, Black, and Earl are examined.

  • Ontology plays an important role of the Semantic Web to describe meaning and reasoning of resources. Ontology has more rich expressive power through OWL that is a next standard representation language recommended by W3C. As the Semantic Web is widely known, an amount of information resources on the Web is growing rapidly and the related information resources are placed in distributed systems on the Web. So, for providing seamless services without the awareness of far distance, efficient management of the distributed information resources is required. Especially, sear ching fast for local repositories that include data related to user's queries is important to the performance of systems in the distributed environment. In this paper, first, we propose an index structure to search local repositories related to queries in the distributed Semantic Web. Second, we propose a query rewriting strategy to extend given user's query using various expression of OWL. Through the proposed index and query strategy, we can utilize various expressions of OWL and find local repositories related to all query patterns on the Semantic Web.

  • Recently, it is increasing the interest in previous web and web 2.0 which mean differentiation. The previous system is typical Static web based on client and server model, while web 2.0 mean next generation web which web change and evolve fundamentally. In this paper, I suggest that the module on RSS reader available under web 2.0 standards. A currently used RSS feed do correct the part distortion which can be possible resolve the encoding problem of Hanguel and third-world language. The suggested module is implemented using Ajax. I developed the module for the use of effective contents on web 2.0 through the DragBox module based on the programming on mobility of Ajax and the design and implementation of automatic update module of RSS feed.

  • 본 연구는 G7 의료공학기술개발사업의 1차년도 연구결과이다. 본 연구의 최종목표는 청각계통중 내이의 손상에 의한 감각성 난청환자에게 소리를 인식할 수 있게 하는 한국형 인공와우의 개발, 전 음성 난청환자의 음성인식 효율을 높일 수 있는 한국형 인공이소골의 개발 그리고 인공와우 시술환자에게 적합한 재활용 프로그램을 개발하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 지난 1차년도에는 코클리어의 전기생리학적 현상을 규명하고, 이식전극시스템과 그 주변장치를 설계, 평가하였다. 그리고 한국인의 성인사체의 16귀를 측정하여 한국인 체형에 적합한 인공이소골의 설계기준을 확립하였다. 또한, 인공와우 시술 후 청력회복에 필요한 한국형 재활프로그램의 개발을 위하여 인공와우의 coding strategy에 따른 언어분별력 조사, 유소아의 어음특성분석등을 행하였다. 이 연구결과를 토대로 차기년도에는 상용화에 근접한 프로토타잎의 제품개발과 임상실험이 진행되리라 생각된다.

  • After the general and multi-function PC age is gone, A new type of computing devices is developing. The need of consumer increases a new device with very necessary function instead of all-mighty functional PC. The operating system of this works is linux because of open source licensing and a strong developer community. The Post PC industry represents and environment that will foster dramatic growth and new development. The adoption of embedded linux in this market will not be driven by simple replacement of expensive proprietary operating systems. In this paper we describe the practical design and implementation project of Post-PC Platform. We illustrate "the development of digital consumer Post-PC platform technology," focus the fourth project, and describe the development works of this project.s project.

Design of Supersonic Wind Tunnel for Analysis of Flow over a Backward Facing Step with Slot Injection (슬롯 분사가 있는 후향계단 유동장 분석을 위한 초음속풍동 설계)

  • A test section of a supersonic wind tunnel was designed for the analysis of flow characteristics over a backward-facing step with Mach 1.0 slot injection in a supersonic flow of Mach 2.5. The cavity flow of a high-speed vehicle is very complex at supersonic speed, so it is necessary to do experiments using supersonic wind tunnels to verify numerical analysis methods. The previous 2D symmetrical nozzle was replaced with an asymmetrical nozzle. The inviscid nozzle contour was designed using Method of Characteristics (MOC), and the boundary layer thickness correction was reflected by experimental data from the wind tunnel. The results were compared with a CFD analysis. The PID control system was changed to be based on the change of tank pressure. This improved the control efficiency, and the run times of supersonic flow increased by about 1 second. The flow characteristics over a backward facing step with slot injection were visualized by a Schlieren device. This equipment will be used for an experimental study of the film cooling effectiveness over a cavity with various velocities, mass flows, and temperatures.

  • 저수지 수질은 유역의 점오염원 배출부하와 강우시 발생하는 비점오염부하 발생에 의한 유역유출수의 저수지 유입과 저수지내 상황 및 기상등에 많은 영향을 받는다. 이와같이 저수지 수질은 저수지 내외의 다양한 요인에 따라 그 특성을 달리함으로 수질관리를 위해서는 기상, 수리 수문, 수질, 지형, 오염원, 처리시설 등 많은 자료를 필요로 하게 된다. 따라서 각종자료의 입력, 수정 및 분석을 하는 자료관리시스템, 수질모의를 수행하는 모델시스템 그리고 분석결과를 표나 그래프로 표현하는 체계를 하나의 시스템으로 통합 구축하여 필요한 분석을 실시함으로서 여러 가지 대안에 대한 평가를 시각적으로 쉽게 할수 있게 되어 관리자는 보다 정확하고 신속하게 의사결정을 할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문에서는 UML(Unified Model Language)기반 하에서 Visual $C^{++}$ 언어를 사용하여 Class diagram, 화면명세, Database명세 등을 생성하는 체계적인 시스템을 구축하였으며, 수질모의를 위해 유역모델로 HSPF 모형을 선정하였고 저수지 모델로는 CE-QUAL-W2를 적용하였다. 구축된 시스템의 활용을 위해 유역관리 시나리오 4개(하폐수처리장 운영에 따른 수질변화모의, 점오염원 제거시 수질모의, 비점오염원 제거시 수질모의, 개발지 관리에 의한 수질모의)와 저수지관리 시나리오 4개(저수지 운영조건 변화에 따른 수질모의, 조류 차단막 설치에 의한 수질모의, 조류제거선 운영에 따른 수질모의, 빈도강우시 탁수관리 모의)를 적용하여 수질변화를 모의하였으며, 다양한 새로운 시나리오를 원활한 적용할수 있도록 설계하였다. 이상의 적용결과로 평가해 볼 때 본 시스템은 저수지 수질관리에 활용할 수 있는 효율적인 시스템으로 평가되었다.

Analysis of ICT in Education Training for Teachers from Partner Countries (교류협력국 교원 초청 교육정보화 연수의 성과 분석)

  • Each City & Provincial office of education has provided educational informatization training, which invites its partner country's teachers as part of 'e-Learning Globalization Project.' The purposes of this training program are, a) improving nation brand power by maintaining e-learning national competitiveness and strengthening influence, b) solving digital divide by sharing Korean best practices, c) establishing partnership through exchanges and cooperation, d) capacity building which support partner country's leading teachers can play key roles to spread educational informatization in their own country. It is necessary to reflect outcomes of training program until now and to find sustainable development plan, at 10th anniversary of Education ICT training program now. In order to fulfil purposes, qualitative research was conducted to analyze current status based on context, input, process, and product phases, and to find sustainable development alternative. In-depth interview(IDI) was conducted among supervisor, officials, and teachers from partner countries. Also, the result of IDI was analyzed by themes.

Implementation of the Integration Laboratory for 8051 Microcontroller (8051 마이크로콘트롤러 통합실험실의 구현)

  • The virtual laboratory is implemented by Java applets and FLASH animations, which provides the learners with improved experimental methods. If the learners have access to the virtual laboratory system through signing up procedure, they can acquire the fundamental concepts and make a virtual experiment on 8051 microcontroller. In addition, we have implemented the remote laboratory for practicing 8051 microcontroller, which can be used to compensate the absence of reality, occurred during virtual laboratory session. Finally, the proposed integration laboratory provides the learners with almost all the same and advantages as a real laboratory environment.
