With the development of the Internet, electronic commerce, electronic markets, and digital economy, new business paradigm and new ways of business have been emerging and developing. The development of right and robust business models for electronic markets is a key for Internet business success. This parer reviews previous studies and successful cases for business models based on the Internet. This paper presents strategic factors such as the business value and the source of revenue, products and services, business processes and technologies, and the characteristics of electronic markets and relationship with customers and partners as a framework for developing sustainable and robust business models. This paper presents seven propositions for developing successful Internet business models as guidelines for practitioners and theorists.

This paper analyzed twenty-six production-related KPI(Key Performance indicator) factors of business diagnosis, such as personnel, equipment, materials, operations and quality affecting company business competition to 186 small machinery manufacturers in 2010. Also, we explained the concept of Business Positioning and divided research subjects into four Business Positioning Groups formed break-even point ratio & fixed cost ratio to sales and then we compared between the 4 groups using Logistic Regression analysis by SAS statistical software package. The objective of this study is two-fold. The first is to find out production-related KPI factor of superior Business Positioning Group. The second is to suggest improvement ways for small manufacturers in order to get better profitable Business Positioning.

As coming smart computing era, the government and leading telecommunication companies have actively supported the development of mobile applications. However, since it is processed apart from the characteristics of small businesses, policy problems and support ways have continuously been pointed out. In this study, we selected priority of support project for the activation of the mobile application development, then proposed support ways for the success of small development business. Firstly, we researched the mobile business literatures, support projects and policy trends of the Korean government, academia and private sector. Next, we developed the activation model for small development business by synthesizing of support projects, literatures and expert group interviews. Based on this model, we selected priority of support projects according to AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis results. In conclusion, we categorize the five support ways for the activation of mobile application development. We are expecting that these support ways will be useful to the development of effective policies and selection of detail tasks for the support of small business or developers.

QCC(Quality Control Circle) is a labor or employee group that regularly meets to discuss ways of improving product quality. Its goal is to develop and present various ways for employees to solve problems, generate and implement new ideas and gather information that would prove helpful in both areas. It will also educate employees of the responsibilities that a quality warranty will bring forth. This study conducted research on the QCC activity of Korean manufacturers in two primary ways: first part consisted of items used to diagnose QCC activity, Second part consisted of 8 items used to investigate goals and their effectiveness, obstruction and organization. Accordingly, main goal of our research was to find ways to improve through QCC.

The international marine system was plunged into the age of divided occupation with the adoption of the United Nations Convention on Law of the Sea in April, 1982. The exclusive economic zone of 200 Nautical miles set up by the Convention confirms the assertions of many coastal states whose fishing industries are not well-developed. However, it is unfavorable to the countries whose fisheries are being carried on in deep-sea, because the coastal state has sovereign rights to conserve and manage living resources in it. Under the circumstances the Korean deep-sea fisheries had to find ways out of the difficulties. The ways may be divided into two ways, namely, licensed fishing and joint-venture fishing. The former type becomes unfavorable to foveign fisheries because of decreasing quarts, rising fees and remunerations. The latter type properly meets the wishes of countries concerned and has some merits. However, there is a possibility of bearing the risk in case of investment in developing countries. The insurance system is effective to make up for the loss from the risk, although not perfect. The deep-sea fisheries depressed now by accumulated difficulties need more financial support from the Goverment for the active promotion of overseas joint-venture.

Technical advances contribute to the affluent life of human society. However, many people in underdeveloped countries live in poverty. Hence, many social groups are making efforts to improve their quality of life. The concept of appropriate technology is central to this endeavor. Utilization of appropriate technology in the textile design sector is one of the most efficient ways to make a living, while maintaining traditional skills and tools. It differs from the supply mechanism of advanced technology and products to people in the underdeveloped countries. In this study, we aimed to explore the fundamental ways toward self-reliance among citizens of substantially underdeveloped countries by integrating appropriate technology in the field of textile design. Application types were analyzed by researching cases that incorporate appropriate technology in textile design. These are classified into three ways based on underdeveloped regions, developed countries, and collaborative case with designers and companies. Improvement of the 3 aspects was approached in terms of product development, ongoing management and expansion popularity.

There are numerous researches being studied regarding Electronic Commerce (EC), that is one of the hottest issues for the 21 century in the various areas such as management, engineering and science; etc, This paper concerns the logistics functions which are essential for completing a commerce process even under the EC environment. Even though both the traditional and the electronic commerce via internet share many common problems regarding logistics, new logistical issues are generated as the EC is being popularized. We study the logistics competitiveness under the EC environment and provide ways to improve the logistical performance. We first point the emerging logistical paradigm to check the issues under EC. Next, logistics competitiveness factors are provided. Finally we propose several ways for the logistical performance and cost perspective.

Dispute plays a key role in maintaining the desirable performance of trade transaction. Although avoidance of disputes is always a priority, it is also important to prepare methods of dispute resolution which are efficient and economical. So, understanding of chinese dispute resolution system is a necessary requirement for successful business operation with chinese companies. This article analyzed and compared with the ways of trade disputes settlement system such as negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation in China in order to help the Korean traders who enter into business with the chinese companies to settle their disputes efficiently. This article suggests that two methods of negotiation and mediation are more likely to be effective than arbitration and litigation to resolve disputes with chinese companies because of problems of enforcement of arbitral award and the uncertainty of China's legal system.

This study deals sith some problems of foreign direct investment and seeks for the ways of activating foreign direct investment (hereafter F.D.I.) by analyzing the Korean economic structure that is faced with the neo-protectivism and nationalism of the advanced or foreign countries currently. During a transformational process in the transitional period of world trade environment, it is necessary for Korea not only to learn the higher technology for advanced countries, but also to apply techonology to their economic structure in order to enter into competition with the advanced countries. Based on the experiences and accomplishments from their investments, Korean enterprises should turn their business into F.D.I. and act appropriately in order to keep the balance between indoor and outdoor investment. The study examines the current situations of bank industry whose profitability has been worse recently, finds out the causes of the reduced bank profits, and presents ways to solve the problem. The ways to strengthen the profitability are as follows:First, the expansion of business area is needed. It is necessary to expand business that will create new profits through M&A between the bank and other industries. Second, reorganization for the high-value business is needed. The bank should no longer depend on the profits by deposits and loans, but develop high-value business area for high profitability. The bank business strategy needs to focus on the long-term profitability, not the short-term one. Third, the structure of bank needs to be slimmed. Slimming the structure should be based on the efficiency of business for the future, not for a short-sighted profitability. Fourth, the interest rates of deposits and loans need to be differentiated. The bank profitability can be enhanced by promoting deposits and loans which reflect low risk and high profitability. Fifth and lastly, advancing to abroad needs to be revitalized. Securing the oversea's bank markets can play a key role in strengthening the profitability of banks in the future.
