정보시스템 기술 및 관리구조가 e-비즈니스 활용정도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effects of Information System Architecture and Organization Structure on the Use of e-Business in Korean Companies)

  • Recently, e-business has very much attention in the management fields because it is expected to fundamentally change the way many business compete. Business that don't understand the changes and that can't change their operating model in time will be at a disadvantage. Information technology infrastructure and its management are key components of e-business The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of information technology infrastructure and its management to the type of information systems used and the use of e-business. A total of 56 Korean firms responded to the survey instrument. There was indirect effect to the use of e-business from the information technology structure via communication capacity and direct effect from management type. The study also found that firms with less centralized forms of information technology were more frequent users of e-business, Firms that have more freedom in information technology decision making tended to be users of the new technology and take advantage opportunities that exits on the information technology.

남성 체형별(男性 體型別) 재킷 길 원형(原型)(Block) 연구(硏究) (The Study on Men's Jacket Block according to Somatotype)

  • The purpose of this study were to provide dress forms and men's jacket blocks based on the analysis of their somatotype. As the result of the previous research, based on 1290 males of 20 to 54 year-old, the shapes of adult male were 20 and each body shape was classified by size factor, height and chest girth and master size was selected considering appearance frequency. Somatotype YS(master size: height 170cm, chest girth 91cm) and HD1(master size: height 170cm, chest girth 94cm) were selected to develop dress forms and men's jacket block in the study. The procedure and results were follows; 1. The dress forms of somatotype YS and HD1 were provide base on means of 61 body measurements and cross sections of shoulder, chest, waist, hip of subjects belong to each somatotype. 2. New men's jacket blocks of somatotype YS and HD1 were developed based on the body surface extracted by draping and the result of comparative investigation on the conventional jacket patterns by wearing test. Also the drafting methods of new men's jacket blocks were provided. 3. Wearing test by the sensory evaluation showed that the developed jacket blocks were estimated more highly than existing patterns.

A Study on Visual Humor Expression in Fake Technique Fashion

  • This study concerns visual humor in fake technique fashion. While previous studies focused mainly on expression techniques of fake technique fashion, this study analyzed visual humor in fake technique fashion based on classification criteria of visual humor expression techniques, differenting this study from other studies. The purpose of this study was to derive visual humor in fake technique fashion by classifying cases of fake technique fashion, and re-classifying outcomes of primary classification based on criteria of visual humor expression techniques. As for methods, this theoretical study was conducted on humor, expression techniques of visual humor, fake fashion and fake expression techniques through literature review. Subsequently, 485 fake technique fashion images obtained from research were classified by expression techniques, and cases of fake technique fashion were analyzed. In addition, by combining this theoretical study with case studies, fake technique fashion was re-classified according to criteria of visual humor expression techniques to derive the characteristics of visual humor in fake technique fashion. Based on visual humor expression techniques, visual humor in fake technique fashion was created by distortion and transformation that made the fake look real by distorting or transforming the fake, enlargement and reduction that created new forms by altering familiar forms, and typeplay that added fun by changing familiar luxury logos into various forms.

Application of Consignment to Three Stage Supply Chain

  • Purpose - The study investigates the impact of consignment on the economic performance in the supply chain with three stages. Through the analysis on distinct forms of consignment application, this study intends to answer to the question of how the consignment should be used in the multi-stage supply chain. Research design, data, and methodology - The proposed mathematical model represents the supply chain system with a manufacturer, a wholesaler, and a retailer. Three different forms of consignment application are considered depending on which stages adapt the consignment, and their system profits are compared with the traditional non-consignment system in numerical examples. Results - The numerical examples show that the serial consignment application performs better than any other forms of consignment as well as the non-consignment system. The additional analysis indicates that the system profit is significantly sensitive to the consignment rate. Conclusions - The outcome of this study implies the potential of consignment to improve the system performance even in the multi-stage supply chain system. Meanwhile, each supply chain member's preference to the specific form of consignment application could be different depending on which stage he has. All the supply chain members should jointly determine the appropriate consignment rates to obtain the best system performance.

A Study on Organizational Forms in Foreign Expansion of Korean Banks

  • So far, research into multinational bank' overseas expansion has focused on foreign direct investment in the financial services industry. However, this study focused its existing theories on multinational banks on decision-making related to the type of overseas advancement of local financial institutions. For research, four environmental factors were considered: the scale of foreign direct investment, the scope of financial services that can be provided according to the rules of the host country, the corporate tax rate of the host country, and the level of development of the host country's banking industry. Through Kotra, data on the total amount of claims from 2010 to 2014 and the regulatory status for the country's financial industries were obtained. Hypothesis are built around theories and survey factors and has been demonstrated through regression analysis. Results show that Korean financial institutions tend to expand as legally independent subsidiaries where the corporate tax rate of the host country is relatively low. Contrary to the previous studies based on the U.S. banking corporates, results show that Korean banks tend to expand in forms of branches to the host countries with high level of banking system development.

패션광고(廣告)의 스페이싱(spacing) 효과(效果)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) - 잡지광고(雜誌廣告)를 중심(中心)으로 - (A Study on the Effect of Spacing in Fashion Advertisements - Focused on Advertisements in Magazines -)

  • This study measured the accompanying rating, recall, and recognition of advertisements, which were run with different methods of spacing in the magazines. To achieve this objective the study chose a qualitative research and performed a reliable test. After the survey was completed, the advertisement recall test was performed. In addition, two days later, the recognition test was performed to the survey respondents and data on the memory of respondents on the advertisements was collected. As a result, rating, recall and recognition of the advertisement's were significantly different by the various forms of advertisements in the magazines. In the advertisement rating and recall by the advertisement printing forms, rather than the regular printing form of running the target advertisement for two pages in a role and the irregular printing form, the continuous printing form was confirmed to be more effective. In addition to that, in the form of running continuous target advertisements for six pages in a role, the effects of the advertisements recall and the recognition were increased. A continuous printing form had higher outcomes on the rating, recall and recognition of advertisements. Therefore, conclusively, it gave more effects in increasing the memory of the advertisement for the consumers. The conclusion of the study provided suggestions on the forms of advertisement to stimulate the memory of consumers in the magazine advertisement.

A Study on the Jacket Blocks for Adult Males according to their Somatotypes XS, YI, Yd, and AD2

XS type (master size: height 165cm and chest circumference 88cm), Yd type (master size: height 170cm and chest circumference 91cm), YI and AD2 types (master size: height 170cm and chest circumference 94cm) were selected to develop dress forms and their jacket blocks in this study. The procedure and results were follows; 1. The dress forms of XS, Yd, YI and AD2 types were produced base on means of 61 body measurements and cross sections of shoulder, chest, waist, hip of subjects belong to each somatotype. 2. New jacket blocks for XS, Yd, YI and AD2 types were developed based on the body surface developments through draping and the results of comparative investigation on the existing jacket blocks by wearing test. Also the drafting methods of new jacket blocks were provided. 3. The sensory evaluation by wearing test showed that the developed jacket blocks were estimated more highly in terms of chest's allowance, the front width's allowance, neck wrinkle, front allowance and overall appearance's fitness items than existing jacket blocks.

  • 지식의 중요성 증대는 기업활동에서 지식경영의 도입을 강요하고, 지식의 측정과 가치평가의 필요성을 제기하고 있다. 본 고에서는 기업에 있어서 지식이라는 경영자산의 공정 시장가치를 평가하기 위한 주요 방법론을 개관하고, 로열티접근법을 중심으로 소득접근법에 의한 지식자산의 경제적 기여도를 분석한다. 이를 위해 지식자산의 특성을 확인하고 그 가치를 평가하기 위한 기본적인 개념을 검토한다. 이와 함께, 투자자의 관점에서 기업의 화폐적 자산과 유형자산에 대한 지식자산의 일반적인 관제를 검토하며, 지식자산의 가치를 평가하기 위한 방법론을 논의한다.

  • Collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment (CPFR) is the most recent successful management initiative that provides supply chain collaboration. By adopting CPFR, companies can dramatically improve the effectiveness of supply chain. The CPFR process has three major sub-processes; planning, forecasting and replenishment, which are formed by a number of steps. Despite the existence of a detailed and comprehensive process model, which is published by the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Standards Association, in practice CPFR can take a number of different forms. Therefore, this research suggests that business process management system (BPMS) can be utilized as a base system on which a CPFR is consistently constructed and implemented, regardless of a number of its possible forms. We illustrate how a CPFR protype is implemented by using a BPMS and then describe how the prototype is agilely extended to adopt a variety of changes of CPFR collaboration process.

Strategic Framework for Website Evaluation based on a Review of Tourism and Hospitality Literature from 2010-2023

  • This study examines the scientific publications on website evaluation in hospitality and tourism from 2010 to 2023 through a systematic review and discusses implications for future research. The reviewed literature from publication years, journals, research methods, website-related stakeholders, context, various forms of Internet presence (Internet forms), and theories are analyzed to create a comprehensive website evaluation dimension. Furthermore, a conceptual framework is developed to show the relationship between the website characteristics, stakeholders-channels interaction, and stakeholders' reactions. The proposed website evaluation framework in hospitality and tourism synthesizes the existing knowledge, identifies gaps, and further advances our understanding of this research area.
