Feasibility Analysis and Curriculum Design for the Business Simulation Learning (경영 시뮬레이션 학습의 타당성 분석 및 교수모형 설계)

  • Business simulation learning is a business education method of the software applications that applied for the university's management training. Its interest is increasing as management training tools to simulate the virtual enterprise and to learn the business management knowledge, management skills, experience and problem-solving. This research was done for the feasibility analysis and management education model design of the business simulation learning. As a prior research to the introduction and operation of the university's business simulation learning curriculum, the need and literature research on the possibility recognition of classes for college students and corporate executives, a demand survey research and analysis was done and discussed the necessity and possibility of the business simulation learning for the industry and universities education area. In addition, we designed a curriculum of the business simulation learning and presented some of education models of management for the university's management training purpose by using the results of the survey research and literature analysis.

Preceding Factors in the Effect of QR Code Characteristics on Consumer's Purchasing Intention for Mobile Marketing in Fashion Business (패션비즈니스 모바일 마케팅의 QR Code 속성이 소비자 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 선행변수연구)

  • The utilization of QR code for mobile marketing in fashion business has been receiving growing attention with the increasing smart phone users and wireless internet environment. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of utilizing QR code for mobile marketing on consumer's purchasing intention based upon TAM model. This research was conducted by questionnaire method, in which the questionnaire was distributed to the consumers in Seoul. Among the questionnaire returned from the consumers, 196 were selected to be included in the analysis by developing descriptive statistics, factor analysis, cronbach's alpha, and regression analysis using SPSS15.0. The results of this study were as follows: There was a significant effect of QR code characteristics such as usability, mobility, aesthetics of design on perceived ease of use. The factors of individuality, interactivity, and aesthetics of design significantly affected on the perceived usefulness of QR code. The ease of use and usefulness significantly affected the consumers' enjoyment which positively affected on purchasing intention.

  • Recently due to the enhancement of education and lifestyle, the trend of healthcare services are changed to a more active and differentiated service in which a continuous self health care is possible. The Smart-Telemedicine system offers medical services by merging Blue-tooth and telecommunication modules to former blood pressure, blood sugar, heartbeat and temperature measuring devices. Moreover, it could analyze one's health pattern which would be helpful for the patient to prevent potential future illness. In addition, the easier accesses to various remote controllable medical check-up programs are offered to public as a number of available smart phone are rapidly escalating. The Smart-Telemedicine system provides the most ideal interactive medical service via accessible smart phones and mobile medical check-up devices at anywhere and anytime. It is very beneficial since it can save patients' time and money because people can reach to the service right at their home and be allowed to take charge of their health care process via longitudinal health data. Therefore, not only social costs that occur in elderly community would be saved, but also business in various forms of medical service field transactions could be possible. This paper will suggest the Smart-Telemedicine System for preventive medicine, its design and analysis of business models and the evaluation of those model.

A Study on the Global Start-ups/Employment Support Model Using ODA Projects (ODA 프로젝트를 활용한 글로벌 창업/취업 지원 모델)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to explore the model that supports the recipient country by using the ODA (Official Development Assistance) project and at the same time fits the global start-up/employment support of donor country with CSV business model. Specifically, we wanted to examine the feasibility of the project based on the existing ODA projects. Research design, data, and methodology - As the methodology, case studies and interview were conducted as well as literature studies. The case analysis is based on a press release of the entire KOICA's ODA project, which has been implemented for one year, based on 2017. After consideration, the actual results and future feasibility were analyzed. The interviews were conducted on senior Korean officials and Indian officials involved in Vietnam's ODA project. Results - As a result, some of the project cases applied and analyzed according to the model of this study were judged to be highly potential. Based on the results of this analysis, as the model derived from this study pursues, the global business model is developed under the CSV (Creating Shared Value) strategy through ODA projects to support recipient countries and global start-up/employment support of donor country. The possibility of simultaneously pursuing this model based on CSV business model was also confirmed. Conclusions - In the past, free aid agencies like KOICA focused solely on supporting recipient countries, but in terms of sustainability, they could discover the potential of supporting the global start-up/employment of the donor country using CSV business model in ODA project. In this study, we tried to find the theoretical background and potential possibilities in some ODA projects based on CSV business model. As a result of the analysis of KOICA ODA projects in 2017 and interviews, some ODA projects could be used to improve the economic development of the recipient country as well as the global start-up/employment of the donor country. Therefore, it is necessary for the ministries of the government to promote ODA projects to understand the framework that achieves these two objectives simultaneously and to promote ODA projects based on various strategic considerations.

  • One of reasons for introducing Building Information Modeling (BIM) is to support clash detection tasks by means of a 3D product model. In the conventional construction project process, clashes have been found during construction phase. However, it can cause cost overrun and time delay. In order to investigate and correct clash detections at design phase, relevant business process and guide for this task should be provided. This study aims to identify hindrances in clash detection tasks at the design phase and analyze its current process using IDEF0 model. Despite the convenience of IDEF0 as a systems analysis tool, professional participants might have difficulties to understand their own tasks according to business process. For this reason, in this research, Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is introduced to provide ideal process and required decision making governance. The provide BPMN model will provide insights for a BIM-based collaborative environment to enhance the constructability through the construction project.

  • In determining the feasibility of planning and launching railway transportation projects, various decision-making processes are essentially required. LCC(Life Cycle Cost) value including total construction cost and operation cost is estimated in approximation Model with rough guideline. In this study, modeling and simulation-based analysis method is proposed to support the decision making process of railroad transportation and derivation of LCC. Firstly, cost analysis model was constructed by collecting various existing rail transportation business data to enable analyze based on numerical data, and the result were analyzed by DOE(Design Of Experiments) and RSM (Response Surface Method) simulation. Professional commercial software tools were used for effective model construction and simulation. In order to verify the research results, the actual railroad transportation projects were selected, and the results of the analysis were compared.

A Review on Practical Use of Simple Analysis Method based on SDOF Model for the Stiffened Plate Structures subjected to Blast Loads (폭발하중을 받는 보강판 구조물의 간이 해석법에 대한 실용성 검토)

  • The offshore installation units may be subjected to various accidental loads such as collision from supply vessels, impact from dropped objects, blast load from gas explosion and thermal load from fire. This paper deals with the design and strength evaluation method of the stiffened plate structures in response to a blast load caused by a gas explosion accident. It is a comprehensive review of various items used in actual project such as the size and type of the explosive loads, general design procedure/concept and analysis method. The structural analyses using simple analysis methods based on SDOF model and nonlinear finite element analysis are applied to the particular FPSO project. Also validation studies on the design guidance given by simple analysis method based on SDOF model have also considered several items such as backpressure effects, material behavior and duration time of the overpressure. A good correlation between the prediction made by simple analysis method based on SDOF model and nonlinear finite element analysis can be generally obtained up to the elastic limit.

  • This study explored characteristics of Camp style as presented in the musical The Rocky Horror Show, analyzing its symbolic meanings through the lens of Greimas' semiotic square model. Camp style, known for its exaggerated expressions, irony, and fluid gender representations, plays a central role in challenging traditional gender norms and cultural binaries. This study begins by outlining the significance of The Rocky Horror Show in musical theater and pop culture, highlighting its impact on fashion and art. Through character and costume analysis, this paper examined four key features of Camp style: symbolism, gender fluidity, playfulness, and theatricality. The semiotic square model was applied to deconstruct complex relationships between these features, particularly focusing on contradiction and opposition. Research findings demonstrated how Camp's symbolic elements in costume design interacted with the narrative and character identities to convey deeper cultural and social meanings. This analysis provides insights into how Camp style functions as both a visual and cultural critique within the framework of the musical.

  • A central theme in recent IT (information technology) industry is a mobile ecosystem. While a concept of business ecosystem, which is an economic community of firms and individuals producing and consuming goods and services, has been around for about 20 years now, the recent spotlight is mainly caused by the enormous success of iPhone. Many hand-set makers or platform developers want to mimic Apple's iPhone ecosystem from which both application developers and hand-set users can benefit. In this study, a representation model of the business ecosystem is proposed for supporting systematic design and analysis of ecosystems. Whereas previous studies also proposed some representation models, they emphasized only on the value chain between participating players. The proposed model, which is named relation-based ecosystem model, represents an ecosystem with the requirement relationships between product and service components and the roles of players, as well as their value chain. Such comprehensive representation explicitly reveals the strategic difference between ecosystems. This advantage was illustrated by comparing a Korean traditional mobile ecosystem and an emerging smart-phone ecosystem represented by the proposed model.
