  • This paper examines the integrated QR code payment service (QRIS) adoption by retailers in Indonesia. Indonesia started its cashless journey in 2017 by using electric money in card form. As the country keeps developing, Indonesia has planned to integrate its payment towards a cross-border payment using QR codes by 2025 in the South East Asian region. Facing government vision, MSMEs that act as the significant economy wheel in Indonesia was required to be prepared to face the multi-cultural, multi-currency, and the new tech innovation for doing transactions. However, as a developing country, Indonesia faced significant problems with its infrastructure, which made it hard for merchants to access digital payment. As infrastructure was a common problem for developing countries, Indonesia also faced financial inclusion, lack of digital knowledge, a high amount of cash use, and socialization that made low digital payment penetration. Therefore, as there was a need to increase digital payment penetration for ASEAN integrated payment, this study found that merchant compatibility, facilitating conditions, trust, and relative advantages are drivers for MSMEs using this payment method. Further, this research provides propositions for banks, financial institutions, and governments to develop and evolve towards a cashless ecosystem, especially for a country lacking infrastructure.

  • This study aims to understand the differences in the media characteristics of two types of media, namely, Blog and Twitter, as well as in their factors that affect product information diffusion. To achieve these objectives, the information diffusion pattern is identified by analyzing the number of product-related posts in each media based on the Bass model. The analysis results revealed that the information diffusion speed of hedonic goods was faster than that of utilitarian goods. Regardless of product type, Twitter had a higher imitation effect than Blog, while Blog had a higher innovation effect than Twitter. The results implied that users of Blog tended to find information by themselves while those of Twitter relied more on the others' evaluation than their own subjective evaluations of innovations.

  • Purpose: This study applies the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) to explore the impact of ChatGPT users' technology acceptance (performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence) on WOM. Research design, data, and methodology: A survey was conducted targeting ChatGPT users in their 20s or older in Korea and used for analysis. Testing of research hypotheses is performed using SPPS and AMOS. Results: First, ChatGPT users' technology acceptance (performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence) was found to have a positive effect on continuous use intention. Second, ChatGPT users' continuous use intention was found to have a positive effect on WOM. Third, ChatGPT users' continuous use intention ChatGPT was found to have a full or partial mediation effect on the relationship between technology acceptance and WOM. Conclusions: These results mean that ChatGPT's outstanding functional utility, convenience of use, and recommendations from people around them have a significant impact on the continuous use intention ChatGPT and WOM. As Generative AI becomes routine, disruptive innovation through Retailtech is expected to promote changes in distribution. This study confirmed the relationship between continuance use/WOM and technology acceptance. Distribution companies need to improve efficiency/convenience using Generative AI and implement various WOM marketing.

  • Amidst the uncertainties of climate policy, investing in nuclear energy technology emerges as a sustainable strategy, fostering innovation in a critical sector, while simultaneously addressing urgent environmental concerns and managing budgetary dynamics. Our investigation inspects the asymmetric influence of climate policy uncertainty on nuclear energy technology in the top 10 nations with the highest nuclear energy R&D budgets (Germany, Japan, China, France, USA, UK, India, South Korea, Russia, and Canada). Previous studies adopted panel data methods to evaluate the linkage between climate policy uncertainty and nuclear energy technology. Nonetheless, these investigations overlooked the variability in this association across various countries. Conversely, this investigation introduces an innovative tool, 'Quantile-on-Quantile' to probe this connection merely for every economy. This methodology concedes for a more accurate evaluation, offering a holistic global perspective and delivering tailored insights for individual countries. The findings uncover that climate policy uncertainty significantly reduces nuclear energy technology budgets across multiple quantiles in most selected economies. Additionally, our results highlight the asymmetries in the correlations between our variables across the nations. These findings stress the need for policymakers to conduct thorough assessments and skillfully manage climate policy uncertainty and nuclear energy budgets.

  • E-commerce has grown to be perceived as an integral component of modern customers' lives. Fast innovation enables businesses to implement new business ideas that enhance customers' shopping experiences. The motive is to study the allurement of unrestrained buying behaviors resulting from Live Streaming Commerce in the presence of Emotional imagery. The conceptual model and hypotheses for the study have been framed based on the SOR model. A survey was conducted in north India, where data was collected from 577 consumers experiencing live streaming and analyzed with the help of AMOS and SPSS software. The repulsive behavior scale has been developed by using qualitative research. The findings revealed that there is a significant relationship between the stimulus of livestreaming and unrestrained buying behaviors with the mediating role of emotional imagination. Two crucial mediating factors, pleasure, and arousal (fervent imagination), have successfully predicted experiential shopping behavior. The study has implications for online marketers and policymakers, as marketers can use our developed model to understand consumers' different buying behaviors, and policymakers can select and design specific features for the social presence of live streaming. Integrating three different types of unrestrained buying behavior influenced by live streaming would add to the literature. The study adds value to the literature by developing a scale to measure repulsive behavior after testing and validating with experts.

In addition, the effect of business support satisfaction on business performance was analyzed, where the business performance was evaluated by the questioner's satisfaction with their business. The start-up phase was divided into the start phase, early growth phase, stagnant phase, and high-level growth phase, and the moderating effect between the fairness and satisfaction of the government-supported projects by start-up phase was analyzed. As a result, it was found that every concept of fairness had a positive (+) effect on the satisfaction of the entrepreneurship support project, and the satisfaction of the entrepreneurship support project had a positive (+) effect on the management performance. The concept of procedural fairness in the start phase, procedural fairness in the early growth phase, interactive fairness, and the concept of all fairness in the stagnant phase influenced the satisfaction of the start-up support project.
