구동계 진동 초기성능 확보를 위한 시스템 단위 개선 연구 (A Research on Securing Initial Performance of Vibration Caused by Driveline)

  • In commercial vehicles such as frame-based mid-size trucks, it is easy to reduce vibration caused by driveline with the cab mount system. There are no critical driveline vibration problems associated with these vehicles up to now. However, in the case of a similar grade of monocoque type mini-bus, there are no effective vibration isolation components such as a cab mount. Vibration caused by driveline is quite a complex problem to understand in terms of which part governs the phenomenon and how the problem can be solved. Thus, we have to manage the design factor about the driveline and mount system strictly at the early stage of vehicle development. Low frequency vibration caused by the driveline system is investigated in this study. We created the CAE driveline model and analyze low frequency vibration. Then contribution analysis about each design factor of driveline and mount system is performed. Finally, we can obtain the optimized design factor for a driveline system of a mini-bus, which is verified by the vehicle test results.

근전도 분석을 통한 시내버스 운전자 피로도 분석 (The Fatigue Analysis of Urban Bus Driver with Electromyography (EMG) Analysis)

  • In this study, we proposed the most efficient driving posture based on the analysis of quantitative muscular strength and fatigue degree according to posture. Since driving include complicated actions required by a variety of ability and cause by extremes concentration or strain, drivers tend to feel tired easily. However, drivers can't recognize the fatigue degree by themselves. Moreover, the method for measuring the quantitative fatigue degree exactly is quite difficult to be secured. 9 professional bus drivers were participated. We analyzed the quantitative legs' muscular strength when operating each pedal. And then we also analyzed the muscular strength and muscular fatigue degree according to driving pattern during bus driving. Therefore, we suggested the most efficient driving posture.

수요탄력적 버스배차관리를 위한 평가지표 개발 및 적용 (A Development of Evaluation Index for Bus Demand-Elastic Schedule Management)

  • 최근 각 지자체별로 ITS에서 방대한 양의 APTS(BMS, 교통카드 등)자료가 수집되고 있으나 버스배차관리에 활용되는 지표는 도착정시성과 차두간격균등성에 국한되어 있다. 수집되는 자료를 버스운행관리에 충분히 활용하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 이용객 수요를 고려한 운수회사의 배차관리 수준을 평가하기 위해 상관계수를 이용하여 수요탄력적 배차관리지표(DEI, Demand Elastic Index)를 개발하였다. 합리적인 개발지표의 적용을 위한 이상치를 유발시키는 자료에 대한 보정방안을 강구하여 적용하였으며, 노선별 제약조건(운행대수, 배차간격 등)을 고려하여 지표의 형평성을 제고하였다. 개발된 평가지표를 서울시 전체노선(356개)에 적용하고, 노선특성(일평균배차간격, 일일수집금, 일평균운행시간, 운행대수)에 따른 적용성(형평성)을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 개발지표는 ATPS자료가 수집되는 노선의 배차계획 및 관리 수준의 평가가 가능하여, 효율적인 배차관리에 활용성이 클것으로 생각된다.

PLC의 시퀀스 제어를 위한 BIT 연산 프로세서의 구현 (An Implementation of Bit Processor for the Sequence Logic Control of PLC)

  • In this paper, A bit processor for controlling sequence logic was implemented, using a FPGA. This processor consists of program memory interface. I/O interface, parts for instruction fetch and decode, registers, ALU, program counter and etc. This FPGA is able to execute sequence instruction during program fetch cycle, because of divided bus system, program bus and data bus. Also this bit processor has instructions set that 16bit or 32bit fixed width, so instruction decoding time and data memory interface time was reduced. This FPGA was synthesized by pASIC 2 SpDE and Synplify-Lite synthesis tool of Quick Logic company. The final simulation for worst cases was successfully performed under a Verilog HDL simulation environment. And the FPGA programmed for an 84 pin PLCC package. Finally, the benchmark was performed to prove that Our FPGA has better performance than DSP(TMS320C32-40MHz) for the sequence logic control of PLC.

Building Smarter City through Big Data - Best Practices in Seoul Metropolitan Gov.

  • Since 2013, Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) has introduced big data initiatively in administration and put into practices in transportation, safety, welfare in order to overcome limited resources and conflicting interests. For establishing a new midnight bus service, SMG prepared optimized midnight bus routes by analyzing big data from mobile phone Call Data Record (CDR) through collaboration with a telecommunication company. Despite of limited budget and resources, newly identified routes can cover over 42% of the citizen with 9 routes and less than 1% of buses compare with day time operation. In addition to solve transportation problem, SMG utilizes big data to resolve location selection problem for choosing new facility locations such as life double cropping centers and senior citizen leisure centers. As results, SMG demonstrates big data as a good tool to make policies and to build smarter city by overcome space-time limitation of resources, mediation of conflicts, and maximizes benefit of the citizen.

노선그룹단위별 버스도착시간 추정모형 연구 (Development of Bus Arrival Time Estimation Model by Unit of Route Group)

  • 본 연구는 현재 국내 BIS에서 버스도착시간 및 정류소간 통행시간 산정을 위해 개별노선단위로 적용하고 있는 버스 도착시간 추정 모형의 한계점을 제시하고, 이를 극복하기 위한 방안으로 버스의 진행 방향과 정류소 구간을 고려한 노선그룹단위 버스도착시간 및 구간통행시간 추정 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 서울시 BMS에서 수집되는 버스 운행자료를 활용하여 본 연구에서 제시된 모형의 신뢰성과 적정성을 평가하였다. 모형의 검증은 서울시에서 운행 중인 간선버스 노선 중 서대문역${\rightarrow}$독립문역 구간을 운행하는 노선을 대상으로 하였으며, 서울역방향(직진), 충정로방향(좌회전), 광화문방향(우회전) 등 버스노선을 진행방향과 구간별로 그룹화하여 모형에 적용하였다. 모형의 비교평가를 위해 RMSE를 효과척도로 하여 기존 개별노선단위 모형과 본 연구에서 제시한 노선그룹단위 모형을 비교한 결과, 관측 값의 개수가 4인 경우 구간별 평균 14.8, 관측 값의 개수가 5인 경우 구간별 평균 16.8의 차이로 본 연구에서 제시한 노선그룹단위 버스도착시간 및 정류소간 통행시간 추정모형이 기존 모형보다 우수한 것으로 분석되었다.

노선버스 운송업종별 운전자의 근로여건 및 사고 분석 : DTG 데이터를 활용하여 (Analysis of Bus Drivers' Working Environment and Accidents by Route-Bus Categories : Using Digital TachoGraph Data)

  • 대량수송이 가능한 대중교통 수단의 경우 사고 발생 시 대형인명피해가 우려되며, 이로 인해 다량의 사회적 경제적 손실이 발생할 가능성이 크다. 특히, 최근 들어 버스 운전자의 피로 및 부주의 등으로 인한 중 대형 버스사고가 잇따라 발생하며 버스사고 및 운전자의 근무환경에 대한 사회적 관심이 나날이 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 버스운전자의 근로 환경(업종별 근로 형태별)에 따른 근로여건 및 사고 특성을 비교 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 국내 271개 버스회사에 대한 2017년 1월~12월까지의 운행기록계 자료 및 업체 정보(업종구분, 근로형태)를 수집하였으며, 이를 통계적 방법론을 활용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 버스운전자의 근로조건에 따른 사고빈도 및 운행환경의 차이가 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 격일제 근무 형태를 따르는 시내버스(특광역시 제외)에서 교통사고가 비교적 빈번히 발생함을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과가 향후 노선버스 사고 감소를 위한 근무여건 개선의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

K-평균 군집모형 및 순서형 로짓모형을 이용한 버스 사고 심각도 유형 분석 측면부 사고를 중심으로 (Analysis of Bus Accident Severity Using K-Means Clustering Model and Ordered Logit Model)

  • Although accident data from the National Police Agency and insurance companies do not know the vehicle safety, the damage level information can be obtained from the data managed by the bus credit association or the bus company itself. So the accident severity was analyzed based on the side impact accidents using accident repair cost. K-means clustering analysis separated the cost of accident repair into 'minor', 'moderate', 'severe', and 'very severe'. In addition, the side impact accident severity was analyzed by using an ordered logit model. As a result, it is appeared that the longer the repair period, the greater the impact on the severity of the side impact accident. Also, it is appeared that the higher the number of collision points, the greater the impact on the severity of the side impact accident. In addition, oblique collisions of the angle of impact were derived to affect the severity of the accident less than right angle collisions. Finally, the absence of opponent vehicle and large commercial vehicles involved accidents were shown to have less impact on the side impact accident severity than passenger cars.

CSF(Color Selection Field)를 통한 버스 도장공장의 생산비용 개선 (Cost Improvement for a Bus Painting Shop by Introducing a Color Selection Field)

  • As the customer's needs for diverse colors, the process of bus painting shop is becoming more and more complex. In particular, frequent changes of paint colors in each spray process require the cleaning of the painting nozzles and setting them up for the new paints, which results in increased time and cost and reduced production. This also increases environmental influences. This paper proposes, as a solution to this issue, the use of color selection field (CSF). CSF is physically a system of conveyors that are used to rearrange objects in a flow line. CSF is proposed, in this paper, to be introduced right before the spray process so that buses are better grouped according to their desired colors. Various parameters of the CSF, such as the number of conveyors and algorithms to determine the rearranged sequence of buses, have been determined by running simulations using the digital manufacturing technology, and investigating the simulation results. As an outcome of the proposed solution, the CSF system is expected to reduce approximately 30% of the nozzle cleaning cost for a Korean motor company case, which will not only benefit the company economically, but will also benefit the environment.

  • The number of wind generation installations are growing substantially in Jeju, Korea. Many of these installations are significant in size and directly connected to the distribution system. In these distributed applications, it is not uncommon for the turbines to be connected near the end of a long rural distribution feeder from which end-users are served. Therefore, utility grid interconnection standards for interconnecting non-utility distributed generation systems are essential to both power system company and generation company. In this paper, it is investigated the power quality of Sungsan substation bus connected to Hangwon wind power generation farm.
