  • Concerning the water quality management plan about Buk-stream, Ohsip-stream and Gagok-stream water systems in this research, which objectives of abstract is as follows. The result of cleanness degree evaluation of water quality in this research, the first grade was 91% shared in Buk-stream water system. The most point of the middle and upper stream of Buk-stream was maintain extremely clean water quality. Among the researched water system, the first grade of water quality in Ohsip-stream water system was most poor, its first garde rate was 68%. In all water quality check point of Gagog-stream water system was accomplished extremely clean water quality condition of first grade of BOD. The calculation result of pollutant loading density, which were 8.2, 21.5, 4.0kg/day.$\textrm{km}^2$. respectively and basin of Buk-stream and Gagok-Stream have high development potentiality.

환경농업조성지구내 용수원 및 채수시기별 수질비교 (Seasonal Variation of Water Quality of the Watersheds in the Agricultural Environment Promotion Zone)

  • A study was conducted to investigate the seasonal changes in water quality of watershed in the Agricultural Environment Promotion Zone. Samples collected were 12 GW (ground water), 2 IW (irrigation water), 2 SW (stream water) in An-Dong City, 4 GW, 6 IW, 11 SW in Young-Yang Gun, and sampling was conducted separately during dry and rainy season. In the ground water, EC and ionic species, except pH, were higher than those in stream water, and especially $NO_3-N$ concentration exceeded the limitation of drinking water. Concentration of ions decreased as the sampling depth was far from the soil surface. During a rainy season, the concentrations of $NO_3-N$ and K in the stream water were slightly higher than those during season. COD was lower during dry season in Yong-Yang, while the trend was contrasted to An-Dong. These results suggest that ground water was polluted by fertilization and compost while streamwater was polluted by loss of soil and organic during the rainy season. Principal chemical components related with changing water quality were EC, $NO_3^-$, Ca, Mg, Na, $Cl^-$, $Cl^-$, $SO_4^-$ in ground water, whereas $NH_4-N$, K, Mg, $Cl^-$, $SO_4^-$ in stream water.

고성 북천의 어류상 및 어류군집의 특성 (Characteristics of Fish Fauna and Community Structure in Buk Stream of Goseong, Korea)

  • 강원도 고성군 북천의 어류 분포 및 군집 특성을 알아보기 위하여 2009년 3월부터 9월까지 조사를 실시하였다. 본 조사에서 확인된 어종은 모두 12과 31종이었으며, 개체수에서 우점종은 Z. koreanus (30.0%), 아우점종은 P. kaibarae (9.4%), R. steindachneri (9.3%)로 나타났으며, 생체량에서 우점종은 T. hakonensis (35.5%), 아우점종은 Z. koreanus (22.5%), C. pacifica (7.5%)였다. 출현종 중 환경부지정 멸종 위기종 II급인 P. kaibarae와 P. sinensis가, 한국 고유종은 8종이 출현하였다. 회유성 어종 중 소하성 어종은 T. hakonensis, O. masou masou, O. keta, G. aculeatus가 서식하고 있었으며, 양측회유성 어류인 P. altivelis altivelis, G. urotaenia가 출현하였다. 고성 북천에 분포하지 않았던 서해와 남해로 흐르는 하천에 분포하던 종 중에 본 조사에서 서식이 확인된 Z. koreanus, Z. platypus, S. microdorsalis, L. andersoni, C. herzi는 1980년대 이입되었고, P. herzi, P. parva, S. multimaculatus, M. mizolepis, K. rotundicaudata, S. asotus, O. interrupta 등은 1990년대 이후에 이입된 것으로 분석되었다.

정보엔트로피 개념에 의한 하천 지형특성인자의 산정 (Estimation of Stream Geomorphological Characteristics Based on the Informational Entropy)

  • 본 연구는 하천종단면에 정보엔트로피이론을 적용하여 평균하천경사, 하천경사 및 하천종단고도 결정방법을 제시하였다. 최대화된 엔트로피는 제약조건하에서 일정한 하천종단면의 확률분포를 만들며, 이와 같은 관계를 이용하여 평균하천경사, 하천경사 및 하천종단고도 산정식을 유도하였다. 충북 지방하천 정비기본계획에서 얻은 달천유역의 실측된 지형학적 인자를 사용하여 매개변수를 최소자승법으로 결정하였다. 유도된 평균하천경사와 하천종단고도식을 실제유역에 적용하였으며, 실측치와 잘 일치함을 나타낸다. 본 연구의 결과로부터 평균하천경사와 하천종단고도의 결정에 직접 적용할수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

안정동위원소를 이용한 북한강 하천생태계 연구 (Studies on Stream Ecosystem in the Bukhan River using Stable Isotopes)

  • 본 연구는 부식물 및 유기물로부터 분리 배양한 부착조류의 안정동위원소비 결과를 중심으로 분리된 부착조류의 안정동위원소비가 수질 대표성을 알아보기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 주변 농경지의 분포가 많으며, 부착조류 현존량이 높아질수록, 부착조류의 질소안정동위원소비는 증가하며, 탄소안정동위원소비는 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 농경지 중심지역인 내린천 상류, 인북천 상류지역에서 질소안정동위원소비(${\delta}^{15}N$)가 임야 중심지역인 한계천 및 북천에서의 값보다 높았다. 탄소안정동위원소비(${\delta}^{13}C$)는 농경지에 의한 오염으로 부착조류의 현존량이 많은 내린천 상류와 인북천 상류지역보다 임야 중심의 청정한 한계천 및 북천으로 갈수록 높아지는 경향을 보였다. 이에 따라 부착조류의 안정동위원소비는 하천수질오염원 중요한 지표가 될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

설악산 계류의 고도별 저서성 대형무척추동물의 분포특성 (Altitudinal Distribution Aspect of Benthic Macroinvertebrates in a Mountain Stream of Seoraksan)

  • This study was performed to find out the distribution aspect of benthic macroinvertebrates according to altitude in a mountain stream (a main stream: Buk stream, a tributary: Hangye stream) of Seoraksan. The survey was conducted from August to November in 2010. All survey sites were very sound because the mountain was being maintained as a protection area of the national park. Water quality and the composition of substrata were similar in all sites. Benthic macroinvertebrates of 3 phyla, 4 classes, 9 orders and 84 species occurred in the stream. Along with the decline of altitude, shredders of the functional feeding groups (FFGs) decreased, while collector filterers increased. In particular, collector filterers increased sharply at the altitude of 600 ~ 500 m (S.E.L.). Benthic macroinvertebrates showed low similarity between the uppermost site and the lower sites. Altitude appeared to be a significant factor that influence the structure and distribution of benthic macroinvertebrate community.

소양호 지류하천의 비점오염원 유출특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Out Flow Characteristics of Non-Point Source Pollution in the Branch River of So-yang Lake)

  • This study selected Naerin Stream, Inbuk Stream and Buk Stream, branch rivers of Soyang Dam, also area of highland agriculture as test sites and measured flow and water quality, particularly eutrophication factors (BOD, COD, T-N, and T-P) in precipitation season and non precipitation season for a year, 2008. Based on the result, the study examined the change in water quality in relation to flow, and created flow discharged - pollution loads regression line by estimating pollution loads flowed from each branch river. And the study calculated annual pollution discharge loads for unit area and proposed regression equation on it by using regression analysis.

금강권역의 호소 및 하천 퇴적물 특성 비교 (Comparison of the Characteristics of Reservoir and Stream Sediments in Kum River basin)

  • In order to study the general characteristics of reservoir and stream sediments, various analysis tests were conducted. Water contents and ignition loss were measured to know the primary sediment characteristics. The COD, total phosphorus and nitrogen were contained for the determination of organic substance content. For the purpose of establishing the contamination degree of heavy metals, some heavy metal contents were investigated. In heavy metal contents, reservoir sediments showed somewhat higer value than stream sediments. As a result, the reservoir sediment content of all analysis items were higher than stream sediment.

A study of low-temperature and mountain epilithic diatom community in mountain stream at the Han River system, Korea

  • Background: This study was conducted to assess the physicochemical water quality and the altitudinal distribution of low-temperature and mountain epilithic diatom (LTMD) community in Buk and Hangae streams that are located in Seorak Mountain with the height of 1708 m in Korea. And the community characteristics of LTMD found in the Buk and Hangae streams were compared to that of LTMD from the Han River system. Results: The physicochemical water qualities of Buk and Hangae streams were determined to be very clean. As a result of analyzing the community composition, 135 taxa of epilithic diatoms were determined, and 22 taxa appeared including Hannaea arcus var. subarcus which are known to have low-temperature and mountain ecological characteristics in the literatures. The relative frequencies of LTMD were 37.0~0.9% range from the upper to lower regions. Although Diatoma tenuis, Eunotia minor, and Gomphonema affine are known to be ubiquitous in streams and lakes, in this research, the three taxa were added into low-temperature and mountain epilithic diatom, since D. tenuis and E. minor appeared only in altitudes above 600 m, and G. affine had the highest relative frequency during spring and fall in altitudes above 700 m, when water temperature was around $10^{\circ}C$. Conclusions: Among the 24 taxa of low-temperature and mountain epilithic diatom (LTMD) (including the 3 taxa added in this study), 14 taxa (Diatoma hyemalis, D. mesodon, D. tenuis, Hannaea arcus, H. arcus var. subarcus, Ulnaria inaequalis, Eunotia bilunaris, E. implicata, E. minor, E. muscicola, E. silvahercynia, E. septena, Delicata delicatula, and Gomphonema affine) represented the characteristics of LTMD very well; they grow best in water temperatures below $15^{\circ}C$ in Buk and Hangae streams and Han River system.

친환경 주거단지 개발계획에 관한 이론적 고찰 -강북뉴타운 주거단지를 대상으로- (A Study of Environmentally Friendly Residential District Development -Concentrated on Gang-buk new town residential district-)

  • According to the New Town Development Plan, Gang-buk area, a symbol of slum in Seoul will be changed new residential area. There are a lot of challenges for success this project. First of all, new ways of city plan "pre-plan and development" and "environmentally friendly development" are necessary to carry out this plan. Another important idea is how to overcome conflicts such as unbalanced development, a traffic jam and environment problem. Also, Government and a citizen agree that this project have to accept eco-protectable and sustainable development theory. For increasing green area ratio and keeping eco-diversity, planting at roofs and water circulation system in residential complex are compulsory. Green network based on environmentally friendly development provides a natural energe stream on eco-system and protects a city from air pollution, hot air island phenomenon and a flood.
