This paper gives the basic mechanical properties of indium-tin-oxide (ITO) films on polymer substrates which are exposed to externally and thermally induced bending force. By using modified Storney formula including triple layer structure and bulge test measuring the conductive changes of patterned ITO islands as a function of bending curvature, the mechanical stability of ITO films on polymer substrates was intensively investigated. The numerical analyses and experimental results show thermally and externally induced mechanical stresses in the films are responsible for the difference of thermal expansion between the ITO film and the substrate, and leer substrate material and its thickness, respectively. Therefore, a gradually ramped heating process and an organic buffer layer were employed to improve the mechanical stability, and then, the effects of the buffer layer were also quantified in terms of conductivity-strain variations. As a result, it is uncovered that a buffer layer is also a critical factor determining the magnitude of mechanical stress and the layer with the Young's modulus lower than a specific value can contribute to relieving the mechanical stress of the films.
A study on the deposition and characterization of BaTiO3 thin films on MgO-buffered Si(100) substrates by sputtering was conducted. The MgO buffer layers were investigated as a function of deposition temperature. At lower substrate temperature, the MgO layers were not fully crystalline, but a crystallized MgO layer with (001) preferred orientation was obtained at the substrate temperature of $700^{\circ}C$. Partially (00ι) or (h00) textured BaTiO3 films were obtained on Si(100) with the MgO buffer layer grown at 700ι. While, randomly oriented BaTiO3 films with large-scale cracks on the surface were made without the MgO layer. The crystallographic orientation, morphology and electrical properties between the BaTiO3 films on Si with and without the MgO layer were compared using the BaTiO3 film on MgO(100) single crystal substrate as a reference system. Also the favorable role of the MgO layer as a buffer for growing of oriented BaTiO3 films on Si substrates was confirmed.
Pulsation is an inherent phenomenon in reciprocating compressors. It interacts with piping to cause vibrations and performance problems. Indiscriminately connecting to a compressor can be dangerous and cost money in the form of broken equipment and piping, poor performance, inaccurate metering, unwanted vibration, and sometimes noise. Piping connected to a compressor can materially affect the performance and response. To minimize these detrimental effects, reciprocating compressor system should be equipped by pulsation suppression system. The system usually comprises bottle volume, called snubber. Snubber is one of the most important parts in hydrogen compressing system. It has installed reciprocating hydrogen compressor. One of these components is snubber which has function to reduce pulsation waveform and to remove the impurities in the hydrogen gas. A snubber has an inclined plate as a buffer, which is installed inside snubber. When the pressure loss and the pulsation of pressure within a snubber is minimized, the snubber could get more applicability. Therefore, a study to find an optimum geometric size on a several snubbers which have different buffer width, has been conducted using a numerical analysis.
Rel-time application programs have constraints which need to be met between media-data. It is client-leading synchronization that is absorbing variable transmission delay time and that is synchronizing by feedback control and palyout control. It is the important factor for playback rate and QoS if the buffer level is normal or not. This paper, The method of maintenance buffer normal state transmits in multimedia server by appling feedback of filtering function. And synchronization method is processing adaptive playout time for smooth presentation without cut-off while media frame is skip. When audio frame which is master media is in upper threshold buffer level we decrease play out time gradually, low threshold buffer level increase it slowly.

We developed poly (3,4-ethylene dioxylene thiophene):poly (styrene sulfonic acid) (PEDOT:PSS)-free organic solar cells (OSCs) using buffer and anode combined Ta doped $In_2O_3$ (ITaO) electrodes. To optimize the ITaO electrodes, we investigated the effect of $Ta_2O_5$ doping power on the electrical, optical, and structural properties of the co-sputtered ITaO films. The optimized ITaO film doped with 20 W $Ta_2O_5$ radio frequency power showed sheet resistance of 17.11 Ohm/square, a transmittance of 93.45%, and a work function of 4.9 eV, all of which are comparable to the value of conventional ITO electrodes. The conventional bulk heterojunction OSC with ITaO anode showed a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 3.348% similar to the OSCs (3.541%) with an ITO anode. In addition, OSCs fabricated on an ITaO electrode successfully operated without an acidic PEDOT:PSS buffer layer and showed a PCE of 2.634%, which was much higher than the comparable no buffer OSC with an ITO anode. Therefore, co-sputtered ITaO electrodes simultaneously acting as a buffer and an anode layer can be considered promising transparent electrodes for cost-efficient and reliable OSCs because they can eliminate the use of an acidic PEDOT:PSS buffer layer.
Currently, the design reference temperature of the buffer material for disposing of high-level radioactive waste is less than 100℃, so if the heat dissipation capacity of the buffer material is improved, the spacings of the disposal tunnel and the deposition hole in the repository can be reduced. First of all, this study tries to analyze the criteria for thermal-hydraulic-mechanical performance of the buffer materials and to investigate the researches regarding the enhanced buffer materials with improved thermal conductivity. First, the thermal conductivity should be as high as possible and is affected by dry density, water content, temperature, mineral composition, and bentonite type. the organic content of the buffer material can have a significant effect on the corrosion performance of a canister, so the organic content should be low. In addition, hydraulic conductivity of the buffer material should be less than that of near-field rock and swelling pressure should be appropriate for buffer materials to function properly. For the development of enhanced buffer materials, additives such as sand, graphite, and graphite oxide are typically used, and a thermal conductivity can be greatly improved with a very small amount of graphite addition compared to sand.

This study was carried out to establish a novel bioassay system for screening of compounds affecting aromatic amino acid or anthocyanin biosynthesis through investigating a degree of sucrose-induced anthocyanin formation such as size of plant material, buffer conditions, light intensity and irradiated duration, incubation temp., etc were determined and standard procedure (suitable experimental condition) was set up as follows. The second leaf blade of white corn seeding induced by fluridone treatment were segmented into a size of 5${\times}$5 min. The segments were floated on the solution of 1% sucrose in 1.0mM MES buffer (pH6.0∼6.5) and incubated at 26$^{\circ}C$ for 2days under the continuous light condition(70∼100$\mu$mol m$^{-2}$ s$^{-1}$ ). Anthocyanin in the purpled tissues was extracted with methanol containing 1% HCl and the optical density of the clear supematants was determined at 528mm. Influences of some chemicals were tested using this system. Glyphosate, 5-enolpyruvylshikimate 3-phosphate synthase inhibitor, showed most sensitive response with I$_{50}$ value at 3.3$\mu$M. Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide(DCCD) and parachloromercuribenzenesulfonic acid(PCMBS) had a relatively strong ingibition with I50 value at 7.1$\mu$M and 10.2$\mu$M, respectively. These results show that sucrose-induced anthocyanin formation in white com leaf segment provide a very simple and rapid system for searching new compounds affecting aromatic amino acid or anteocyanin biosynthesis by screening at less than 10$\mu$M.

We propose a simulation model of 3-dimensional MPEG data over Asynchronous transfer Mode(ATM) networks. The model is based on a slice level and is named to Projected Vector Autoregressive(PVAR) model. The PVAR model is modeled using the Autoregressive(AR) model in order to meet the autocorrelation condition and fit the histogram, and maps real data by a projection function. For the projection function, we use the Cumulative Distribution Probability Function (CDPF), and the procedure is performed at each slice level. Our proposed model shows good performance in meeting the autocorrelation condition and fitting the histogram, and is found important in analyzing the performance of networks. In addiotion, we apply a smoothing method by which a periodic mean value. In general. the Quality of Service(QoS) depends on the Cell Loss Rate(CLR), which is related to the cell loss and a maximum delay in a buffer. Hence the proposed smoothing method can be used to improve the QoS.

We have studied the characteristics of organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs) with the PTFE buffer layer. The OLEDs have been based on the molecular compounds, N,N'-diphenyl-N,N'-bis (3-methylphenyl)-1, 1'- biphenyl-4, 4'-diamine (TPD) as a hole transport, tris(8-hydroxyquinolinoline) aluminum (III) ($Alq_3$) as an electron transport and the Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as a buffer layer. The devices of structure were fabricated ITO/PTFE/TPD(40nm)/$Alq_3$(60nm)/Al( 150nm) to see the effects of the PTFE buffer layer in organic EL devices. The thickness of the PTFE layer varied from 0.5 to 10[nm]. We were measured Current-Voltage-Luminance Characteristics and Luminance efficiency due to the variation of PTFE thickness. the PTFE layer was reported that helped to enhance the hole tunneling injection and effectively impede induim diffusion from the ITO electrode. We have obtained an improvement of luminance efficiency when the PTFE thickness is 0.5[nm] is used. The improvement of efficiency of is expected due to a function of hole-blocking of PTFE in OLEDs.

We investigated $MoO_3$ graded ITO electrodes for organic solar cells (OSCs) without PEDOT:PSS buffer layer. The effect of $MoO_3$ thickness on the electrical, optical, and structural properties of $MoO_3$ graded ITO anodes prepared by RF/DC magnetron co-sputtering system using $MoO_3$ and ITO targets was investigated. At optimized conditions, we obtained $MoO_3$ graded ITO electrodes with a low sheet resistance of 13 Ohm/square, a high optical transmittance of 83% and a work function of 4.92 eV, comparable to conventional ITO films. Due to the existence of $MoO_3$ on the ITO electrodes, OSCs fabricated on $MoO_3$ graded ITO electrode without buffer layer successfully operated. Although OSCs fabricated on ITO anode without buffer layer showed a low power conversion efficiency of 1.249%, OSCs fabricated on $MoO_3$ graded ITO electrode without buffer layer showed a outstanding cell performance of 2.545%. OSCs fabricated on the $MoO_3$ graded ITO electrodes exhibited a fill factor of 61.275%, a short circuit current of 7.439 mA/cm2, an open circuit voltage of 0.554 V, and a power conversion efficiency of 2.545%. Therefore, $MoO_3$ graded ITO electrodes can be considered a promising transparent electrode for cost efficient and reliable OSCs because it could eliminate the use of acidic PEDOT:PSS buffer layer.
