환편니트 재킷의 패턴설계 및 생산현황에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Pattern and Production of Circular Knit Jacket)

  • In order to understand the current state of production and pattern design of circular knitted jackets, this study selected 11 female clothing brands based from the "2012/2013 Korea Fashion Brand Yearbook" and interviewed the staff in charge of patterns at the companies. Polyester and polyurethane were found to be synthesized and used for the outshell of circular knitted jackets, alternatively natural fabric cotton or wool were synthesized with rayon. As for the structure of circular knitted materials, Ponte Di Roma knitting structure (a modified form of a double knit) was most often used. Surveying the use pattern and the parts for padding cloth, six responded that they used elastic padding cloth. As for circular knitted jackets with inner lining, elastic padding cloth was attached to all parts (front, back, side panel, and collar - except for sleeves) of the basic bodice pattern. Eight responded that they did not use a basic pattern when designing a pattern, which exceeds the majority. All respondents answered yes to the question on if there is any difference in designing a pattern for a woven jacket and a circular knitted jacket. It was found that they designed a pattern that considered shrinkage and elongation, which are the features of circular knitted fabric. Shrinkage and elongation were the features of a fabric material most considered when designing patterns for a circular knitted jacket.

소비자의 사전 목적달성에 귀인되는 원인과 자기보상자격 그리고 탐닉소비 (Causes Attributable to Achieving Consumers' Personal Goals in Advance, Deservingness and Indulgent Consumption)

  • Purpose - Previous studies have not paid attention to pride type and effort type when consumers feel pride. In the present paper, the pride was divided into the two types such as hubristic pride and authentic pride. The causes attributed to achieve the goals when consumers achieved their personal goals, which could induce their pride were divided into trait, special effort, and universal effort, gratitude. This research attempted to investigate the mediation role of self-reward deservingness in finding the differences of inclination to indulgent consumption among the traits or special effort, the universal effort, and other's help. Research design, data, and methodology - In the empirical study, 'general flour food restaurants, Kimbabchunkuk, Edya, etc.' and 'VIPS, Outback, Starbucks, etc.' were taken as the two groups of subjects as empirical brand goods since they presented good contrast with each other. The single-factor design between subjects was adopted in this study by classifying the causes attributable to achieving the pre-goals of consumers into 4 categories: one attributable to trait; one attributable to special effort; one attributable to universal effort; one attributable to other's help. Results - The outcomes from the empirical analysis are as followings. First, the consumers who attributed to trait or special effort for achieving their personal goals in advance turned out to show stronger inclination toward direct indulgent consumption than those who attributed to universal effort or other's help for achieving the goals, without regard to self-reward deservingness. Second, those consumers who attributed to special effort for achieving their personal goals in advance revealed stronger inclination toward indulgent consumption with mediation of self-reward deservingness than those who attributed to trait or universal effort. And those who attributed to special effort or trait for achieving the goals revealed stronger inclination toward the consumption with the mediation of the deservingness than those who attributed to other's help. Conclusions - The present study is contributing to the progress of theories concerning hubris pride, authentic pride, and indulgent consumption. Marketing managers should endeavor to find pride type consumers felt according the causes attributed to for achieving important goals in advance, and make an efforts to develop messages that could appeal to the pride type.

Dimensions of Experiential Value: Is it the same across Retail Channels?

  • Purpose: While empirical importance of dimensionality of perceived value is widely accepted, our understanding of experiential value dimensions in other retail channels and other cultures has not been explicitly tested. This study attempted to determine if the dimensions of experiential value scale (EVS) by Mathwick, Malhotra, and Rigdon (2001) identified in US catalog and Internet contexts could be applied in other international markets (South Korea) and in other retail channels (department store versus Internet shopping mall). Methodology/Approach: Two data sets, one from 220 department store shoppers and the other from 359 Internet shopping mall shoppers, were analyzed. Findings: Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed four different EVS dimensions by retail channels. Overall, entertainment and intrinsic enjoyment values were found to be more important in department store while economic and efficiency value dimensions were interpreted critical in Internet shopping mall context. Visual appeal aspect constitutes distinct value dimension in two channels. Practical Implications: One separate dimension of time efficiency in Internet shopping mall suggests that more efficient web design and functions that can save time and promote convenience are needed to better accommodate their customers. Internet has heavily relied on traditional attributes, such as factual information, price comparability, and brand name reliance. However, this study suggests that Internet shopping mall retailer should offer visual diversion and stimulation just as brick and mortar shopping malls do. Originality /Value of Paper: Although the research findings must be viewed as tentative because the results are from one country, they provide a rich basis for further understanding the dimensions of experiential value in other international markets and other retail channels. 패션필름의 유형화에 따른 특성 (Characteristics and Categorization of Fashion Films)

  • Unlike the past, when fashion brands adopted unilateral communication with their consumers, the brands today have recognized the importance of bi-lateral communication. This has led to the companies producing fashion films as a means to elicit a consensus in opinion between the brands and the consumers. Such fashion films should be understood as films using fashion that transcends time, and also as a type of fashion media. This study, which is based upon the understanding that fashion films are a part of strategic marketing for enhancing the value of brands, used domestic and international literature in order to define fashion films, and establish a theoretical basis for these films. Corroborative study was also conducted for the purpose of practical categorization. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of fashion films, and to suggest a new approach to the study of fashion films. The study adopted the research methodology used in Dudley Andrew's film theory in order to create a theoretical frame that can be used to categorize fashion films. The theory is of significance because it is the basis for the category of motion picture fashion film and media technology fashion film. The study on the categorization and the characteristics of fashion films based upon 6 sub-categories shows a consistent trend of fashion films. From the results, it can be inferred that the films contribute, in part, to the enhancement of brand value. Fashion films have shown rapid growth with the mixture of other media, and with the introduction of cutting-edge technology. Fashion films can be used as new marketing methods for the fashion brands in this digital age.

옥외간판디자인에서 캘리그라피 활성화 방안 - 인천시 계양구 중심으로 - (Revitalization Plan of Calligraphy in Outdoor Store Sign Design - Focus on the District of Gyeyang at Incheon -)

  • 감성마케팅의 시대라 불리는 요즘 현대인들에게 감성을 불러일으킬 수 있는 독립된 서체인 캘리그라피는 광고, 북디자인, 영화타이틀, 포스터, 패키지, BI, 패션에 이르기까지 다양한 분야에 활용되어지고 있다. 이에 인천시 계양구를 중심으로 캘리그라피를 사용한 옥외간판 100곳을 선정하여 업종별 캘리그라피 사용현황 및 활용실태와 표현도구별 분류, 색상 사용분석을 통해 캘리그라피가 옥외간판에서 활성화 될 수 있는 개선방안을 연구하였다. 그 결과 요식업종 뿐만 아니라 금융권이나 기업체 등 다양한 업종에서의 시도가 요구되어지며, 고비용으로 전문가에게 의뢰해 제작되어진 프랜차이즈의 브랜드 로고타입에서만이 아니라 영세 개인상점에서도 저비용으로 질 높은 캘리그라피 제작을 위해 지역사회를 중심으로 다양한 캘리그라피 교육프로그램 개발이 필요하겠다. 또한 세계화의 흐름 속에서 한글의 아름다움을 알리고 우리만의 독특한 거리 문화 창조를 위해 다양한 도구와 질감 표현들이 요구되어지며, 앞으로 옥외간판에서의 캘리그라피에 대한 연구들이 활성화 되어야 할 것이다.

한류 스타의 패션 스타일 분석 및 디자인 개발 - 중국 상해 80후 세대를 중심으로 - (Analysis on the Fashion style of Hallyu Stars & Design Development - Focused on generation born after 1980s Shanghai -)

  • Thanks to both developments in various media such as the internet and TV and China's economic growth, the fashion market in China has gain a lot of attention by global businesses as a newly-raised spending market. Fashion companies in Korea have entered into the china since the late 1990s. For them to get competitive edges, they have to differentiate their brand by creating new design based on the culture becoming mega-trend in fashion market. So in this research, I try to create fashion designs based on Hallyu Stars' fashion styles and images, who come on as a new culture code in China and other Asian. For this, I conducted theological consideration on what the Hallyu is, and looked into fashion styles in soft dramas which 5 Hallyu Stars started in and street fashion in Shanghai in China. Based on the outcomes of analysis, I figured out those star's fashion style and created products targeting young generation born after 1980s in China. The conclusion of this study is as follows. Firstly, the very definition of Hallyu which can be described as a phenomenon in which Korean movies, soap operas, and pop music have become immensely popular throughout Asia.has been expanding to signify the proliferation of Korean culture as a whole. Secondly, having selected the 5 female stars representing Hallyu, we were able to analyze and categorize their fashion styles on the basis of their music videos, movies, and soap-operas. Thirdly, In order to explore the level of influence of Hallyu fashion industry, we studied the street fashion of Shanghai The result was that we could observe both the slim and feminine cool casual style and the cute and affectionate pretty casual style simultaneously.

패션기업의 인구통계적특성에 따른 근무만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Demographic Characteristics and Job Satisfaction in Fashion Companies)

  • 국내 의류산업은 패선 의류상품 기획력과 마케팅의 강화, 전문 고급인격의 양성, 전산화와 정보화 시스템을 확충시킨다면 고부가가치를 창출하는 패션산업으로 성장할 수 있는 잠재력을 효과적으로 활용하기 위해 우리나라 패션기업의 근무여건에 대한 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 패션기업의 현황을 먼저 살펴보고 여러 가지 근무여건에 관한 문제점을 분석, 진단하고 그 결과를 토대로 하여 패션기업의 합리적인 경영과 발전을 도모할 수 있는 종업원의 근무만족도 및 역할성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 개선 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 직무특성과 직무자체만족도의 관계에서는 직무다양성, 직무중요성, 직무자율성의 요인이 직무자체 만족도에 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 직무가 다양하고 중요성과 자율성이 높아질수록 직무만족도가 높아지는 것을 알 수 있다. 그리고 회사생활에 있어 회사에 대한 자긍심과 충성심이 높아질수록 동료만족도가 높아진다는 것을 알 수 있다. 또 회사생활에 있어서 직원들이 복지제도에 대한 만족도가 놀아질수록, 복지혜택에 대한 만족도가 낮아질수록 동료만족도가 놀아진다는 것을 알 수 있다.

부티크 호텔의 체험 콘텐츠 사례 연구 (Experiential Content in Boutique Hotels: A Case Study)

  • 이 연구는 특색있는 부티크 호텔에서 중요한 요소를 경험으로 보고, 호텔에 풍부한 경험 콘텐츠를 넣어 성공적인 사례를 만들고 있는 하얏트 호텔 그룹의 안다즈 호텔을 중심으로 융복합 사례 연구를 진행하였다. 안다즈 인도 델리 지점과 일본 도쿄 지점 두 곳에서 여덟 개씩 총 열여섯 개의 경험 콘텐츠 카테고리를 살펴보고, 이를 번 슈미트의 다섯개 경험 모듈을 통해 진단한 결과, 두 지점 모두 안다즈의 지역 특색을 살리는 호텔을 만드는 브랜드 철학에 맞게 대부분의 경험 모듈에서 경험 콘텐츠를 강하게 가지고 있었고, 그중 감각 콘텐츠를 가장 강하게 나타내고 있었다. 델리 지점 보다 토라노몬 힐즈 지점이 감성 경험 콘텐츠를 더 강하게 가졌으며, 인지 경험 콘텐츠의 경우 델리 지점이 조금 더 강하게 가지고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 두 지점 모두 이용객이 호텔을 이용하는 동안 맞이하게 되는 다양한 지점에서 풍부한 경험 콘텐츠를 가지고 있는 것으로 확인되었다.

소비자 자기관, 의류 브랜드의 가격과 가격할인 판매촉진유형이 여성복의 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Self-Construal, Prices of Apparel Brand, and Price Discount Sales Promotion Type on Consumer's Purchase Intention)

  • The study aims to explore the impacts of types of consumer's self-construal, prices of brands, and types of discount-based sales promotion on consumers' purchase intention. For this study, a three-way mixed factor method was applied based on a formula, types of consumer's self-construal x prices of brands x types of discount-based sales promotion. The subjects were 218 females in their 20s to 30s living in seoul or Gyeonggi-do areas. For data analysis, three-way variate analysis, analysis of simple interactions and analysis of simple main impacts were conducted through use of the SPSS program. First, based on the impacts of types of consumer's self-construal, prices of brands, and types of discount-based sales promotions in the favor of consumers, there was a significant difference between higher and lower-priced brands. Second, comprehensive discounts rather than monopolistic discounts corresponded to higher favoring by consumers of interdependent self-construal. As for monopolistic discount, lower-priced products corresponded to higher favor than higher-priced ones. Third, there was a significant difference between consumers of independent self-construal and interdependent self-construal. Fourth, comprehensive discount, rather than monopolistic discount, corresponded to higher purchase intention regardless of prices of brands in the group of consumers with interdependent self-construal.

소비자의 시간압박 수준에 따른 패션정보원, 추구혜택, 구매기준 비교연구 (Comparison on Fashion Information Sources, Clothing Benefits Sought & Purchase Criteria according to Consumers' Time Pressure Level)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate demographic profiles between the consumer group under high time pressure(HTP) and the group under low time pressure(LTP) during the shopping, to examine the level of association between the fashion information sources and time pressure variable, to determine the difference in clothing benefits sought between HTP and LTP, and to determine the difference in purchase criteria. We distributed questionnaires to 600 women aged in 20-65. The reliable 562 questionnaires were used for a statistical analysis. Data analyses were conducted with SPSS program on t-test, cluster analysis, factor analysis, and Chi square test. We obtained the following results: There was a significant association between demographic variables such as age, occupation, education, residence area, & family cycle and time pressure variable. Fashion information sources were classified into 4 factors. HTP searched information on fashion products using more various sources than LTP did. There was also a significant difference between HTP and LTP in clothing benefit sought. Four clothing benefit factors such as trendy/social position, economic value, protection/comfort, and makeup of body shape were sought more by HTP than by LTP. In addition, HTP considered significantly more purchase criteria such as color/pattern, comfort, quality, suitability, material, sewing finishing, coordination, price, brand, easy care, and country of origin than LTP.
