  • 본 논문에서는 2 차원 심초음파도의 경계선 유사 영역에 대해 베이즈 추정기를 사용하여 경계선 검출을 위한 자동문턱 결정방법을 제안하고자 한다. 경계선 유사영역은 전처리과 정에서 흐려진 영상을 명확히 하는데 사용할 열비등방성 확산 방법의 전도계수로부터 얻어진다, 이러한 경계선 유사 영역에 대해 최적 문턱치를 선택하기 위해 베이즈 추정기가 사용되었다. 이 문턱치를 사용하여 영상을 이진화함으로서 심초음파도의 경계선을 자동 적으로 검출하게 된다. 마지막으로 본래의 심초음파도에 위에서 얻어진 경계선을 덧씌움으로써 경계선이 강조된 심초음파도를 얻을 수 있게 된다.

  • Unlike rigid objects, the edge intensity of a gaseous object is various along the object boundary (edge intensities of some pixels on a gaseous object boundary are weaker than those of small rigid objects or noise itself). Therefore, the conventional edge detectors may not adequately detect boundary-like edge pixels for gaseous objects. In this paper A new methodology for segmenting gaseous object images is introduced. Proposed method consists of fuzzy-based boundary detector applicable to gaseous as well as rigid objects and concave region filling to recover object regions.

스위스.독일.프랑스 접경지역에서의 월경적(越境的) 상호작용 (Cross-Border Interactions in the Swiss - German - French Border Region)

  • 본 논문은 스위스 독일 프랑스 접경지역에서의 월경적(越境的) 상호작용과 초경계적 지역정체성 형성여부를 고찰하고자 한다. 먼저 이 논문은 '경계와 접경지역' 에 관한 최근의 연구들을 검토하여, 이 주제에 대한 이론적 토대와 월경협력의 유형을 구축한다. 이를 기반으로 유러리젼 '라인강 상류' 의 월경적 협력과정을 분석하고 본 연구의 사례지역인 '레기오 트리레나' 에서의 일상적인 월경적 이동(통근, 쇼핑, 주택)을 연구한다. 유러리젼 '라인강 상류' 에서의 월경적 협력은 다양한 활동영역을 지닌 여러 위원회에 의해 추진되며 러시아 인형 바부슈카처럼 중층적으로 구성되어 있다. 스위스 독일 프랑스 간의 경제적인 차이는 3국간의 대량 월경이동을 유발한다. 이 논문은 이러한 월경이동을 울만이 제시한 공간적 상호작용의 3대 기반(상호보완성, 이동가능성, 개입기회)에 입각하여 해석해 보았다. 마지막으로 본 논문은 경제적 장벽의 제거가 초경계적 지역정체성 또는 초국경적 공동체 정신을 창출하기에는 충분치 않다는 것을 보여준다.

HDD내 유동장에 대한 PIV 계측 기술의 적용 (Application to the Flow in HDD Using PIV Measurement)

  • Hard disk drives (HDD) in computer are used extensively as data storage capacity. PIV measurement system was used fur 2-dimensional visualization of the unsteady flow between co-rotating disks in air both with a shroud and both with a actual-like case. Geometric parameters are gap height (H) between disks in the case of shroud. The lobe- structured boundary between inner region and outer region was visualized, and the number of dominant vertices was determined clearly. It is found from flow visualization that the number of vortex cells can be correlated with Reynolds number based on H which is defined as R $e_{H}$ =ΩRH/v ranging from 7.96$\times$10$^2$ to 1.43$\times$10$^4$, and decreases as the disk speed increases. In the case of a actual-like case, the boundary between inner region and outer region appears cleary when head position located at outer diameter with no damper. It is detected with a case of head position middle diameter that the tip wake is generated behind HGA using PIV measurement and calculation.n.

자유유동 난류 하의 주기적 통과 후류의 영향을 받는 익형 위 경계층 천이 (Multimode Boundary-Layer Transition on an Airfoil Influenced by Periodically Passing Wake under the Free-stream Turbulence)

  • Multimode boundary-layer transition on a NACA0012 airfoil is experimentally investigated under periodically passing wakes and the moderate level of free-stream turbulence. The periodic wakes are generated by rotating circular cylinders clockwise or counterclockwise around the airfoil. The free-stream turbulence is produced by a grid upstream of the rotating cylinder, and its intensity(Tu) at the leading edge of the airfoil is $0.5\;or\;3.5\;{\%}$. The Reynolds number ($Re_c$) based on chord length (C) of the alrfoil is $2.0{\times}10^5$, and Strouhal number ($St_c$) of the passing wake is about 0.7. Time- and phase-averaged streamwise mean velocities and turbulence fluctuations are measured with a single hot-wire probe, and especially, the corresponding wall skin friction is evaluated using a computational Preston tube method. The wake-passing orientation changes pressure distribution on the airfoil in a different manner irrespective of the free-stream turbulence. Regardless of free-stream turbulence level, turbulent patches for the receding wakes propagate more rapidly than those for the approaching wake because adverse pressure gradient becomes larger. The patch under the high free-stream turbulence ($Tu=3.5{\%}$) grows more greatly in laminar-like regions compared with that under the low background turbulence ($Tu=0.5{\%}$) in laminar regions. The former, however, does not greatly change the original turbulence level in the very near-wall region while the latter does it. At further downstream, the former interacts vigorously with high environmental turbulence inside the pre-existing transitional boundary layer and gradually lose his identification, whereas the latter keep growing in the laminar boundary layer. The calmed region is more clearly observed under the lower free-stream turbulence level and for the receding wakes. The calmed region delays the breakdown further downstream and stabilizes more the boundary layer.

  • 본 연구에서는 상호작용상류의 난류경계층에 분출을 가해서 경계층을 불안정 화시키고 이 불안정화된 난류경계층과 사각입사충격파와의 상호작용을 실험적으로 연 구하였다. Squire-Smith와는 다른 실험모형의 새로운 형태를 제시하였고 상호작용영 역에서 경계층의 압력분포 및 속도분포를 측정해서 충격파반사의 형태를 밝혔다.

  • Rectangular box type structures are used in many fields of civil, mechanical and marine engineering. Especially, Most ship structures are often in contact with inner or outer fluid, like ballast, fuel and stem tanks. Fatigue damages are sometimes observed in these tanks which seem to be caused by resonance with exciting force of engine and propeller. Vibration characteristics of these thin walled tanks in contact with fluid near engine and propeller are strongly affected by added mass of containing fluid. Therefore it is essentially important to estimate the added mass effect to predict vibration of the tanks. Many authors have studied vibration of rectangular tanks containing fluid. Few research on dynamic interaction among tank walls filled with fluid are reported in the vibration of rectangular tanks recently. In case of rectangular tanks, structural coupling between adjacent panels and effect of vibration modes of multiple panels on added mass of water have to be considered. In the previous report, a numerical analysis is performed for the coupling effect between panels of a tank on added mass of containing fluid, the effect of structural constraint between panels on each vibration mode for fluid region, and mode characteristics in accordance with changing breadth of the plates by using finite element method for plates and boundary element method for fluid region. In this paper, the coupling effect between panels of a tank on added mass of containing fluid, the effect of structural constraint between panels on each vibration mode for fluid region, and mode characteristics in accordance with changing length, thickness, and boundary condition of the plates are investigated numerically and discussed.

자연대류 경계층의 천이특성에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental study of natural transition in natural convection boundary layer)

  • We carried out a laboratory experiment about the thermo-fluidic characteristics of natural convection boundary layer over a vertical heated plate under constant heat flux condition. Particle image velocimetry has been applied to observe the surface convection velocity close to the vertical plate submerged in the water chamber with the condition of Ra = 7 × 109 and Pr = 8.1. The velocity distributions indicate that the distinct stripe-like structures appears in the upstream (earlier transition region) and the distinct negative-positive and Λ(λ)-shaped flow structures in the downstream (mid-transition region). In addition, the temporal variation of spanwise and streamwise velocity is also presented.

  • We developed a general purpose program for the analysis of flows in a gas turbine combustor. The program uses non-staggered grids based on finite volume method and the cartesian velocities as primitive variables. We calculated a flow inside the C-type diffuser to check the boundary fitted coordinate. The velocity profiles at cross section agree well with experimental results. We calculated turbulent diffusion flame behind a bluff body for the combustion simulation. Simulation shows two recirculating region like experimental results. Simulated velocity, turbulent kinetic energy, temperature and concentration distribution agree well with experimental data. Finally, simulation of axisymmetric flows with swirl shows two recirculating region like experimental results.

  • In this paper, the $(Sr_{0.85}{\cdot}Ca_{0.15})TiO_3$ of paraelectric grain boundary layer (GBL) ceramics were fabricated. The characteristics of electrical conduction and the thermally stimulated current(TSC) were measured respectively. The region I below 200[V/cm] shows the ohmic conduction, the region II between 200[V/cm] and 1000[V/cm] can be explained by the Pool-Frenkel emission theory, and the region III above 2000[V/cm] is dominated by the tunneling effect. As a result, The origins of these peaks are that the ${\alpha}$ peak observed at $-20[^{\circ}C]$ looks like to be ascribed to the ionization excitation from donor level in the grain, and the ${\alpha}^{\prime}$ peak observed at $-20[^{\circ}C]$ appears to show up by detrap of the trapped carrier of border between the oxidation layer and the grain, and the ${\beta}$ peak observed at $80[^{\circ}C]$ seems to be resulted from hopping conduction of existing carrier in the trap site of the border between the oxidation and second phase.
