The purpose of this study is to investigate the life and achievements of a doctor whose name is Baek Kwang-hyeon. He was at first a soldier and later became a doctor. After years of practicing, he was chosen as a acupuncture specialist doctor of Royal Office of Medicine. He was also chosen as a Royal doctor. The method to do this study was to read the book "Jisagongyousa Bukyunghumbang(知事公遺事 附經驗方)", which is writing about his life and medical achievements. Also "Seongjeongwon Ilgi(承政院日記)" was searched to find more about Dr. Baek's life. The results were as follows. More unknown records about his life and works could be found. His medical achievements and originality could also be clarified. Through above books and other records, the annual report of his life could be presented at the end of this stuy.

The Samguk-yusa(三國遺事) is one of the two classics of Korean ancient history together with the Samguk-sagi(三國史記); however there has not been any positive attempt to analyse clothing culture centering on the Samguk-yusa until now. Thereupon, this study aims to find the records related to fabrics, color and fashion appearing in the Samguk-yusa, and to analyse the fashion culture of the three kingdoms projected in the Samguk-yusa, referring to the Samguk-sagi and ancient Chinese reference books. According to the records in the book, the fabrics used for clothing of those days included Jikgeum-wimun(織錦爲紋), Geum(錦), Chaebaek(彩帛), Osaek-geumchae(五色錦彩), Geumbaek(錦帛), Geumsam(錦衫), Ma(麻), Neung(綾), Geum-su-neung-ra(錦繡綾羅), Poh(布), Daecho, Bira-geumjeom(緋羅金點), Gyeon(絹). Japchoe(雜綵), Robtyeom(羅緋染). Chimilpoh(緻密布), Gi(綺) and Whan(紈), and they had colors such as brown black(緇), black(黑), purple(紫), yellow(黃), blue(碧), clear white(素), white(白), five colors(五色). There is substantial amoung of report on Buddhism, and the terms used for Buddhist clothing included Beobeui(法衣), Nabeui(衲衣), Bangpoh(方袍), Gasa(袈裟) and Yueui(由衣). It is also ascertained that Gasa had a variety of Bira-geumjeom-gasa(緋羅點袈裟), Manap-gasa(摩納袈裟) and Geumra-gasa(金羅袈裟).

Objectives : "Yayaoyuanfang" is a prescription book, compiled by Xuguozhen in 1267. In "Yayaoyuanfang", there are 13 chapters including "Throat, Mouth and Teeth". Because there are few prescription books focused only on mouth and teeth disease in traditional medicine, "Throat, Mouth and Teeth" in "Yayaoyuanfang" is distinctive. Methods : We try to analyze prescriptions by form, effectiveness and report experiences in "Yayaoyuanfang". Results : There are 95 prescriptions with 77 powder, 5 paste, 5 liquid, 2 granule and 5 other forms. Effectiveness of those are divided into teeth, gum and mouth. Effectiveness for teeth are about pains, weakness, cavity, discoloration and so on. Effectiveness for gum are about pain, swelling, weakness, shrinking, etc. Effectiveness for mouth is about bad breath. Conclusions : "Throat, Mouth and Teeth" in "Yayaoyuanfang" has professional prscriptions for throat, mouth and teeth with several form and effectiveness.

Purpose - Retail companies are turning from one type of retailer to multiple business categories through various reasons, such as taking advantage of existed types of retailers' channel distribution, information and know-how, and entering into new types of retailers. However, there is few research conducted about multiple type of retailers. Research design, data, and methodology - In this research, the references, data and new stores on E-mart will be collected. The dissertation, annual report, statistical data, land-book of E-mart will be also collected to confirm whether E-mart has made any acquisition towards another company. Results - There is a tendency to new stores expansion, store enlargement and prolonging the opening preparation of new stores, based on the core of new stores expansion of E-mart as a general supermarket type of retailers. Based on general supermarket type of retailers, E-mart begins to diversify its retail company's type of retailers. Conclusions - As a general supermarket which is the most important type of retailers, E-mart is expanding into SSM type of retailers to seek new power of growth while slowdown growth is shown in general supermarket type of retailers. The expansion into SSM type of retailers would be a wise option as a retail company, E-mart is able to keep growing in the future.

To get an appropriate and meaningful performance assessment outcomes and to provide the base of essential elementary educational evaluations, we had tried to establish achievement standards, assessment standards and had developed appropriate assessment tools in 「Intelligent Life」 course of the elementary school in this study. The following things were taken into account to establish achievement standards, assessment standards and to develop assessment tools. First, managing deeply not only cognitive domain but also the basic inquiry skills and affective domain, all-round educational properties of integrated courses were likely to come out. Second, evaluating instructional processes as well as instructional results, we had developed assessment standards in elementary 2nd grade's 「Intelligent Life」 course. Third, developing assessment standards on the basis of the 7th Curriculum, we had examined both text book and teacher's guide to promote effectiveness of field application. The type of an assessment tools had been developed variously, considering the characteristics of the elementary lower grades and properties of elementary 2nd grade's 「Intelligent Life」 course. We had developed assessment tools to observe and evaluate practical achievement levels, placing great importance on the types of an assessment tools including observing, narrative of inquiry, report, etc. As a result of investigation of elementary teachers' understandings of the developed achievement standards, assessment standards, and an assessment tools, were revealed in the affirmative on the whole.

The purpose of this study is to provide against to the meteorological disasters in Korea caused by the typhoons by means of the statistical analyses for the relation between the intensities of the typhoons and the meteorological disasters. The data are extracted from the "TYPHOON REPORT OF KOREA" and the "TYPHOON WHITE BOOK" issued by the Central Meteorological Office. The results are summarized as follows : (1) The annual mean frequency and the total number of the typhoon causing the disasters during 30 years (1956∼1985) are 2.2, 65 respectively, and the highest number appears in August followed by September and the third is July. And the degrees of themeteorolgocal disasters are alsio the same order. (2) The more serious disasters occurred by the TS degree typhoons, and the TS degree typhoons occupy the highest frequency. (3) The more serious disasters occurred by the TS degree typhoons, and the TS degree typhoons occupy the highest frequency. (3) The meteorological disaster per typhoon is most severe in August, and the July and September are alike in the degree of the disasters per typhoon. (4) The meteorological disasters are approximately a proportional relation to the intensities of the typhoons. (5) The frequency of the Rain typhoon , Wind typhoon and Rain·Wind typhoon are about 2 : 1: 3 in July, August and September respectively. And the severe disasters occur more frequently by the Rain typhoon than by the Wind typhoon.

The detailed names and meanings of Korean stone pagodas have not yet been properly studied or clearly defined. Therefore, an aim of this report is to compare the detailed names of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese stone pagodas by focusing on content used previously by Ko and his students and content that is currently in use (i.e., since the Japanese colonial era). Additional objectives are to assess the significance of these names and propose an appropriate detailed draft regarding names of stone pagodas. The discussion will proceed by dividing the stone pagoda into three parts: the podium, main structure, and finial. First, the content in Luo Zhewen(羅哲文)'s "Ancient pagodas in China(中國古塔)" (1985) is considered; then, "朝鮮の石塔" (1943)-published by during the Japanese colonial era-is explored. The thesis written by Yu-Seop Ko regarding Korea's first stone pagoda and the content in "A Study of Korean Pagodas(朝鮮塔婆의 硏究)" (1948), which contains Yu-Seop Ko's posthumous works published in book form by his student Su-Yeong Hwang, Heu-Kyoung Kim are examined. to pagodas that are used today, are compared and reviewed. Since Korea, China, and Japan influence each other, pagoda-related terms are shared to some extent. In this study, these were applied to stone pagodas, and names used thus far that have not drawn criticism were studied and proposed as suitable alternatives.

Parkinson's disease(PD) is characterized by chronic progress of mesencephalic dopaminergic neuronal death. Diagnostic criteria for PD require at least two of three motor sign: tremor, rigidity, or bradykinesia. Levodopa and the dopamine agonists are considerd first-line drug therapy. In the book ‘dongyi soose bowon(東醫壽世保元)’, Soyangin Gihwangbeakho-tang(地黃白虎湯) is used at Soyangin Interior-overheated-disease. This case is patient who is 69 years old lady, suffered by the tremor of jaw and a slight rigidity, bradykinesia etc. This patient was classified as Soyangin by features, somatotype and emotional patterns. She improved in the tremor of jaw and others with Gihwangbeakho-tang for 67days. The result revealed that Soyangin-Gihwangbeakho-tang was effected on the tremor of jaw and others with Parkinson's disease patient.

Effect analysis tool for space infrastructure has a role to give essential information which is needed to perform research systematically as effect analysis for satellites on earth orbit due to solar burst and statistical analysis for deriving key factor which is occurred anomalies to satellite. And retrieval function which is able to search domestic and foreign research data such as paper, report, journal and book related to satellite anomaly is also included. So this tool will be provided research environment for effect analysis from space environment to space infrastructure of earth orbit satellite. In this paper, it is shown design result for effect analysis for space infrastructure including DB design.

The main purpose of this study is to find the difference of information searching behaviours consist of information pursuit cognition and searching character by time pressure of researchers. The majar findings and result by time pressure of researchers are summarized as follows : In terms of information retrieval systems, according to the time pressure, there is a significant difference in recall, precision and diversity. In terms of main used material, there is a significant difference in a book, a research report, and a Journal. In terms of resource types, there is a significant difference in both record and human resource. Also, in terms of searching behaviours, there is a difference to spend time for information collection and information searching strategy, and to decide information searching method and degree of searching.
