  • Aside from the Kangryung masked dance, a masque dance in the near of Ongjin county in Hwanghae province has been transmitted. This article was written by two researchers to investigate this fact in a new way. Inwoo Song had conducted a focus interview aimed at persons who came from Ongjin to South Korea and Hyungho Chung had been responsible for summarizing and analyzing the interview. Bonyoung and Suyoung were a place in which a navy admiral stayed and a very rich area. These two places and Kangryung invited and perfomed each other. They kept a competition relationship for the performance. For this reason, the masque dance had advanced in this area. Compared to Kangryung masked dance, this masked dance had a difference in the performance order including a lion dance. Malddukyi dance was expressed in detail in the first part and Hanryang dance was performed independently in the middle of the dance. Sangjwa dance among dances was considered important. Also a lively Malddukyi dance was a scale which measured the skill of the dance. Chwiballyi starred in the dance. The mask was made from a paper and had a grotesque ghost face. This dance was played around Dan-oh. The music accompaniment was conducted by professional musician group, "Kyungjanpae", who lived in the vicinity. They had talents such as masked dance, tightrope dancing, tumbling in addition to music accompaniment. Especially, a local shaman took part in the Bonyoung masked dance and leaded an excorcism after the death of Halmi. Also, in the part of the Kwangdaedaegam gut, the shaman and village people put on the mask and danced together. Therefore, a shaman was closely connected with a local masked dance. After the Korean war, Kangryung masked dance was restored but Bongyoung and Sogang masked dance was not transmitted at all. This article will be helpful for completing the script and restoring the Bongyoung and Sogang masked dance.

  • Some studies on electrochemical additive manufacturing of metals were summarized in this technical report, and development status of selective electrochemical 3D printing technology was introduced. In order to apply it to the PCB mass production process, essential considerations how to overcome the fundamental problems, such as the sizing, process sequence and PCB process design have been described.

  • The microstructural changes with pearlite formation heat treatment in eutectoid steel(railway steel) consisting of only pearlite structure were evaluated by the ultrasonic attenuation and velocity measurements. The result of this investigation showed a strong linear dependence of ultrasonic attenuation on pearlite interlamellar spacing, and accordingly on fracture strength of the pearlite.

  • Regarding thin films in MEMS/NEMS structures, the exact evaluation of mechanical properties is very essential to enhance the reliability of their design and manufacturing. However, such methods as a tensile test and a resonance test, general methods to measure elastic moduli, cannot be applied to thin films since its thickness is so small. This work concerns guided wave based elastic modulus measurement method. To this end, guided wave excitation and detection system using a pulsed laser and a laser interferometry has been established. Also an elastic modulus extraction algorithm from the measured guided wave signal was developed. Finally, it was applied to actual thin film structures such as Ni-Si and Al-Si multilayers. From experimental results, we confirm that the proposed method has considerable feasibility to measure elastic properties of thin films.

  • The changes in adhesion interface between rubber compound and brass plated steel cord after various aging treatments were studied by using an Auger electron spectrometer and a scanning electron microscope. After thermal aging, partial oxidation and additional growth of adhesion layer were observed. The adhesion layer and brass were partially removed after humid aging. With dynamic aging the adhesion layer was destroyed and the corrosion of steel core was proceeded. The changes in adhesion interface were discussed in terms of the adhesion properties determined from the stress-strain experiments.

  • Permalloy($Ni_{80}-Fe_{20}$) which is known for its soft magnetic properties is a well-known material that has been studied intensively. Permalloy nanoflakes were fabricated with the combination of electrodeposition and sonication process. Ultrasonic power was applied to the deposited alloy which produced nanoflakes in forms of sheet. High internal stress created cracks which helped the peeling of permalloy into nanosheets. Because of shape anisotropy, flakes could be aligned by magnetic field. The magnetic properties of the nanosheets were observed, and the variation of magnetic properties with the alignment of flake was also investigated.

  • A metal 3D printer has been developed on its own to electrodeposit the localized area. Nozzles were used to selectively laminate the electrolytic plating method. To analyze the factors affecting the deposition, the stack height, thickness and surface roughness were experimentally analyzed according to the current density and the temperature of the electrolyte. Electrolytic temperature and current are electrodeposited when the deposition conditions are dominant over the etching conditions, but the thickness is kept constant. On the contrary, when the etching conditions are dominant, the electrodeposited shape is rather the etched. As a result, the uniformity of surface quality and electrodeposition rate could be improved by conducting experiments under constant conditions of electrolyte temperature and current density.

  • The identification of antimicrobial use patterns is essential for determining key targets for antimicrobial stewardship interventions and evaluating the effectiveness thereof. Accurately identifying antimicrobial use patterns requires quantitative evaluation, which focuses on measuring the quantity and frequency of antimicrobial use, and qualitative evaluation, which assesses the appropriateness, effectiveness, and potential side effects of antimicrobial prescriptions. This paper summarizes the quantitative and qualitative methods used to evaluate antimicrobials, drawing insights from overseas and domestic cases.
