An Analysis of the Meaning of Laughter by Comedians Hee-Gap Kim, Bong-Seo Koo and Young-Chun Seo : focusing on Korean Comedy Movies in the late 1960s (코미디언 김희갑, 구봉서, 서영춘의 웃음 의미작용 분석 : 1960년대 후반기 한국 코미디영화를 중심으로)

  • In this paper, the results of analyzing the meaning of laughter in comedy movies of the late 1960s, focusing on comedians, Hee-Gap Kim, Bong-Seo Koo and Young-Chun Seo, are as follows. First, the narrative laughter of the comedians represents the generational conflict between the lower class and the upper class, the gender conflict between men and women, and the frustration of reality. Second the mechanism of creating laughter of the comedians shows ridicule of the conservative older generation, revelation of the immoral upper class, and caricature of the frustrated lower class. Third, the practical aspect of the comedians' laughter reveals cracks in tradition and modern, gaps in economic inequality, and expression of prohibited desires. Therefore, comedians Hee-Gap Kim, Bong-Seo Koo and Young-Chun Seo in comedy movies of the late 1960s show the semantic effect of laughter of internal/external boundaries and optimistic world views through the closed opening of informal culture and the conflict of characters/performers.

  • Concrete surface is a part that resists chiefly to carbonation by carbonic acid gas, affluence of rainwater and air, deterioration by freezing thawing, salt damage by seawater, and other chemical erosion etc. Therefore, this research analyzed physical characteristic and durable characteristic of concrete eliminated glut water and bubble of concrete surface using CON-SILK that is permeated with dehydration. As a research result, concrete using CON-SILK was improved, in comparison with concrete using general formwork, in physical performance and durability of concrete, as surface hardness, carbonation resistivity, and salt content permeation resistivity etc. Therefore, we could know that it is effective to use CON-SILK in performance elevation of concrete surface.

  • Korea rapidly arranged urbanization and overpopulation with high growth of economy and all kinds of decrepit facilities are scattered all over the downtown. If there is a strong wind in fire, fire is rapidly increased by various fire spread factors. And Korea cannot build prediction model of urban fire combustion phenomena because there is no studies that physically explains the suitable flame phenomena for its real state. In this study, based on the Japanese Urban fire simulation to target the wooden building congested Area and suitability of fire risk assessment were reviewed.

If there is a strong wind during a fire, the fire is rapidly spread by various factors. Korea cannot build a prediction model for urban fire combustion phenomena because there are no studies that physically explain the suitable flame phenomena for its buildings. This study built a model for the generation of fire brand and includes to scattering, fall, and ignition An experiment was done using the wind tunnel facilities of the Japanese Building Research Institute (BRI). The results were used to explain the behavior of fire brand, and reflected in the fire simulation model.

Study for Safety on the Curve in the High-speed Railway Track (고속철도 궤도의 곡선부 주행안전성 평가)

  • The railway track and the substructures constructed in the field test section of Kyongbu High Speed Line are the structures for HSL, for the first time designed and constructed by domestic technical group. It is very important to verify the local design criteria and specifications for these structures and also to assure the recordings for vibration or deflection produced on the essential parts of the structures. The study to verify the high-speed railway track performance and to ensure the run in safety on the track in curved section during the KTX run. Finally, the conclusion are drawn as follows. The measuring values of the deflection effort of the rail and displacement for verifying the track performance in the field test section of Kyoungbu HSL satisfy the criteria of the foreign countries (Japan and Germany). The measured value for the wheel load and the presumed value show the consistent tendency. The wheel loads of the exterior and interior of the rails at the speed superior to 300km/h are measured same. Finally, the comparison between the theoretical value presented during the verification of the derailment to evaluate the safety of the train run at the time of the detailed design of the track and the measured value in the field shows that the correct design of track structure was applied.

  • In this paper, we describe the MI2U ORB function which is a part of the flight software executed on SCU and controls MI2U/MI which is one of three payloads on COMS. The MI2U ORB function manages MI2U/MI redundancy and reconfiguration, monitors MI2U/MI equipment, performs FDIR, and provides the routing service of commands from Ground/IP (Interpreted Program) through the current used 1553 channel. The MI2U hardware achieves the interface between the SCU and the MI. The MI2U is connected to SCU through MIL-STD-1553B system bus. The MI2U has the internal redundancy but is used in cold redundancy. The MI2U ORB function considers that they are not expected to be simultaneously switched on. The connection combination between MI2U and MI is electrically cross-strapped. However the MI2U ORB function considers only two combinations (MI2U A + MI 1, MI2U B + MI 2). Other combinations can be manually achieved by ground in case of the emergency case.
