An algorithm to find all solutions of blind deconvolution

  • This paper shows that blind deconvolution has only finite solutions when an original image and a point spread function are nonzero over a restricted domain, in other words, an observed image has a compact support. The key of the proof is to use z-transformations and factorizations of polynomials. Then, we propose an algorithm to find all finite solutions under the boundary condition. Finally, we confirm that we can extract all sets of an original image and a point spread function from a degraded image by using our algorithm in numerical examples.

  • The IVA(Independent Vector Analysis) is a well-known FD-ICA method used to solve the frequency permutation problem. It generally works quite well for blind source separation problems, but still needs some improvements in the frequency bin permutation problem. This paper proposes a post-processing method which can improve the source separation performance with the IVA by fixing the remaining frequency permutation problem. The proposed method makes use of the correlation coefficient of power ratio between frequency bins for separated signals with the IVA-based 2-channel source separation. Experimental results verified that the proposed method could fix the remaining frequency permutation problem in the IVA and improve the speech quality of the separated signals.

Hough 변환을 이용한 암묵신호분리방법 (Blind Signal Separation Method using Hough Transform)

  • This paper is on the blind signal separation(BSS) method by the geometric method. To separate the signal sources, we use Hough transform and BSS. Hough transform is a geometric method which let us know the local informations of the signal. We find the orientations of signals by Hough transform and know the number of signal sources. When the number of sensors is more than the number of sources. the BSS algorithm can separate the mixtures well in the time domain. This algorithm has a good performance in converging fast. We had checked up the quality of the algorithm after separating the mixed signals. The results of simulations show that this BSS method has the abnormal waveforms due to unconverging coefficients in the beginning, and stably has the separated waveforms which almost equal to the sources in the most period.

Blind linear/nonlinear equalization for heavy noise-corrupted channels

  • In this paper, blind equalization using a modified Fuzzy C-Means algorithm with Gaussian Weights (MFCM_GW) is attempted to the heavy noise-corrupted channels. The proposed algorithm can deal with both of linear and nonlinear channels, because it searches for the optimal channel output states of a channel instead of estimating the channel parameters in a direct manner. In contrast to the common Euclidean distance in Fuzzy C-Means (FCM), the use of the Bayesian likelihood fitness function and the Gaussian weighted partition matrix is exploited in its search procedure. The selected channel states by MFCM_GW are always close to the optimal set of a channel even the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) is heavily corrupted in it. Simulation studies demonstrate that the performance of the proposed method is relatively superior to existing genetic algorithm (GA) and conventional FCM based methods in terms of accuracy and speed.

블라인드를 고려한 여름철 소규모 사무소 건물의 냉방 및 조명에너지 평가 (The Summer Cooling and Lighting Energy Performance Evaluation of Small Office Buildings with Venetian Blinds)

  • The daylighting control system has to be applied to prevent the excessive incident daylight and reduce energy use. As the one of the most useful daylighting control systems, the blind system is simple and easy to install on the window for small office buildings. This study aims to evaluate the summer energy performance of small office buildings by venetian blinds and energy saving strategy of ministry of knowledge economy in korea. For the study, the simulations have been executed on blind installation conditions and lighting control methods. As results, the energy loads cut down 22 to 25(%) by using blind energy. Also, the efficient shows high on EMS system and low on $45^{\circ}$ slat angles. Also, using energy saving strategy can reduce about 13(%) energy load.

  • 본 논문에서는 강인성과 인지성을 함께 발전시킨 블라인드 워터마킹 방법에 대해 언급한다. 워터마크의 삽입 위치를 선정하기 위해 영상을 이산 웨이블렛 변환한 후 이웃한 관사 계수간의 증감 정보를 이용한다. 제안된 방법을 시험하기 위해 실험 영상에 워터마크를 삽입한 후 JPEG 손실 압축과 여러 필터의 적용과 같은 변형을 가하여 삽입한 워터마크를 다시 찾아내는 실험을 실시한다. 실험 결과는 제안된 워터마킹 방법이 비인지성을 유지하면서도 여러 가지 공격(attack)에 강인함을 보여준다.

A New Hybrid Genetic Algorithm for Nonlinear Channel Blind Equalization

  • In this study, a hybrid genetic algorithm merged with simulated annealing is presented to solve nonlinear channel blind equalization problems. The equalization of nonlinear channels is more complicated one, but it is of more practical use in real world environments. The proposed hybrid genetic algorithm with simulated annealing is used to estimate the output states of nonlinear channel, based on the Bayesian likelihood fitness function, instead of the channel parameters. By using the desired channel states derived from these estimated output states of the nonlinear channel, the Bayesian equalizer is implemented to reconstruct transmitted symbols. In the simulations, binary signals are generated at random with Gaussian noise. The performance of the proposed method is compared with those of a conventional genetic algorithm(GA) and a simplex GA. In particular, we observe a relatively high accuracy and fast convergence of the method.

  • 본 논문에서는 이산대수 문제의 어려움과, 인수분해 문제의 어려움에 기초한 대표적인 디지털 서명들과 그 디지털 서명에 근간한 은닉서명에 대해 연구하고 나아가 제한된 자원을 갖는 환경에서 문제를 일으킬 수 있는 역원의 사용을 배제한 디지털 서명을 제안하고 제안한 디지털 서명에 근간한 새로운 은닉서명을 제안하였다.

Blind downlink channel estimation for TDD-based multiuser massive MIMO in the presence of nonlinear HPA

  • In time division duplex (TDD)-based multiuser massive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems, the uplink channel is estimated and the results are used in downlink for signal detection. Owing to noisy uplink channel estimation, the downlink channel should also be estimated for accurate signal detection. Therefore, recently, a blind method was developed, which assumes the use of a linear high-power amplifier (HPA) in the base station (BS). In this study, we extend this method to a scenario with a nonlinear HPA in the BS, where the Bussgang decomposition is used for HPA modeling. In the proposed method, the average power of the received signal for each user is a function of channel gain, large-scale fading, and nonlinear distortion variance. Therefore, the channel gain is estimated, which is required for signal detection. The performance of the proposed method is analyzed theoretically. The simulation results show superior performance of the proposed method compared to that of the other methods in the literature.

암묵신호분리를 이용한 동시통화 음향반향제거기 (An Acoustic Echo Canceller for Double-talk by Blind Signal Separation)

  • 본 논문은 암묵신호분리방법을 이용하여 동시통화를 가능하게 하는 음향반향제거기에 관한 것이다. 음향반향 제거기는 동시통화 구간에서 성능이 저하되거나 발산하게 된다. 그래서 근단화자신호를 추정해서 잔차신호로부터 차감하기 위하여 암묵신호분리방법을 사용한다. 암묵신호분리방법은 이중 마이크를 가지고 2차 통계적 성질을 이용한 반복적인 계산에 의해 근단화자신호를 추정해낸다. 그런데 폐쇄된 반향환경에서 암묵신호분리의 혼합모델은 다채널이기 때문에 분리계수를 직접 계산하지 않고 반향제거기의 계수를 복사하여 그대로 사용한다. 많은 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안한 음향반향제거기의 성능을 검증하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 이 방법을 사용한 음향반향제거기는 동시통화의 유무에 상관없이 안전하게 동작하고, 일반적인 LMS 알고리즘에 비해 ERLE가 평균 20dB 향상되는 것으로 나타났다.
