고전하밀도 양이온성폴리머와 Sodium dodecyl sulfate가 만드는 콤플렉스에 대한 비이온계면활성제의 영향 (The transformation of the complex of high charge density cationic polymer with sodium dodecyl sulfate into vesicles by nonionic surfactant)

  • The transformation of the liquid crystal complex made by binding of anionic surfactant, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), into high charge density cationic polymer, the homopolymer of diallyldimethylammonium chloride (PDADMAC) was induced by adding of nonionic surfactants and investigated by means of microscopy and FE.SEM. Among nonionic surfactants in this experiments polyethylene glycol (3 mol) ether of lauryl alcohol (laureth-3) made variation in the complex. The laureth-3 transformed the complex into spherulite vesicle with the size of ca.$100{\mu}m$. This change increased the viscosity and the turbidity of the solution phase separated originally. Microscope showed that they are spherulite particles and polarized microscope suggested they are multi.lamellar liquid crystals. FE-SEM also proved that explicitly.

  • Synthetic pulmonary surfactants consisting of a mixture of phospholipids with synthetic peptides based on human surfactant-associated protein SP-B were prepared. These surfactants were analyzed f3r their secondary structures by circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy and NMR spectroscopy. Two synthetic peptides (SP-B(3), SP-B(4)) combined with the phospholipid mixture displayed significant surfactant properties. The CD spectra showed that the u-helical propensities of the peptides in DPC micelles. In the NMR spectroscopy, the tertiary structures of SP-B(3) show that it has $\alpha$-helical structure from Gln5 to Arg13 in DPC micelle and SP-B(4) show that they have $\alpha$-helical structure from Gln5 to Leu12 in DPC micelle. Based on these structures, truncated peptides originated from SP-B protein, can be designed as effective synthetic surfactants for clinical use.

계면활성제 처리 농도가 무가온 플라스틱온실의 방적성, 환경 및 상추 생육에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Surfactant Concentrations on Anti-waterdrop, Environment and Lettuce(Lactuca sativa L.) Growth in Polyethylene Film Greenhouse)

  • 계면활성제(SF316+FB0800)가 처리된 폴리에틸렌 필름 시설에서 직경 9cm 원안의 필름 표면에 부착된 수적량은 무처리구에서 1.21 mL, 1% 처리구에서 0.15mL, 2% 처리구에서 0.07 mL가 측정되었다. 그러나 육안으로는 1%와 2% 처리구 사이에 차이를 관찰하기가 어려웠다. 수적량은 하루 중 오전 10시에 가장 많았고, 기온의 상승된 오후 2시에 적었다. 무처리구에 비하여 계면활성제 1%와 2% 처리구 사이에 차이를 관찰하기가 어려웠다. 수적량은 하루 중 오전 10시에 가장 많았고, 기온이 상승된 오후 2시에 적었다. 무처리구에 비하여 계면활성제 1%와 2% 처리구에서 투광율은 각각 9.3%, 12.9% 높았다. 기온과 습도는 계면활성제가 처리된 비닐하우스와 머처리 비닐하우스 사이에 뚜렸한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 오전의 기온은 계면활성제 처리 비닐하우스에서 1~2$^{\circ}C$ 정도 높았으며, 지온의 경우는 계면활성제 처리시설에서 3~4$^{\circ}C$ 정도 높은 경향을 나타냈다. 겨울철 상추의 생육은 계면활성제가 처리된 필름으로 피복된 비닐하우스에서 빨랐다. 그러나 계면활성제농도 1%와 2% 처리구 사이에는 뚜렸한 차이를 보이지 않았다.

방적성 Plasma 처리 필름으로 피복된 플라스틱온실의 풋고추 생육 (Growth of Green Pepper(Capsicum annuum L.) in a Plastic Greenhouse Covered with Anti-dropping Plasma Film)

  • 플라즈마 필름은 플라스틱 필름 표면의 유적성을 향상시키기 위하여 고전압처리 되었다. 플라즈마 필름과 계면활성제 필름(대조구)를 각각 직경 25mm 두께 1.5mm 골조 파이프 하우스에 피복하였다. 또한 40일 플러그 육묘된 풋고추를 110cmx25cm 간격으로 정식하였다. 피복시 수온을 7$0^{\circ}C$로 처리된 수적발생 장치에서 나온 수증기가 필름 표면에서 응결되어 흘러내려 비이커에 모인 양을 150분 후에 측정한 결과, 플라즈마 필름에서 2.56mL.100$cm^{-2}$ , 계면활성제 필름에서 0.94mL.100$cm^{-2}$ 이 나왔다. 피복 60일 후 오전 8시 20분에 시설내 필름 표면에 부착된 수적량은 플라즈마 필름에서 0.34mL.100$cm^{-2}$ , 계면활성제필름에서 0.32mL.10$cm^{-2}$ 이었다. 광 투과율은 플라즈마 필름 피복시설이 계면활성제 피복시설 보다 2.0% 높았다. 그리고 시설내 기온은 플라즈마 필름 피복시설이 계면활성제 피복시설 보다 0.5$^{\circ}C$ 높았다. 그러나 상대습도는 차이가 없었다. 풋고추 초장, 엽면적, 건물중 및 초기수량 또한 처리간에 차이가 없었다.

이부프로펜을 함유하는 경구용 자가유화 약물 송달시스템(SEDDS) (Self-Emulsifying Drug Delivery System Containing Ibuprofen for Oral Use)

  • Self-Emulsifying System(SES), an isotropic mixture of oil and surfactant which forms oil-in-water emulsion, is expected to improve in vitro drug dissolution and enhance in vivo drug absorption. A poorly water soluble drug, ibu-profen(IBP) was incorporated into the SES to improve absorption, and enhance bioavailability of drug. Medium chain triglyceride, glyceryl tricaprylate(GTC) as an oil, and Tween 85 as a surfactant were used to formulate SES. To characterize SESs with various concentrations of Tween 85, the phase separation and solubility of IBP-SEDDS containing IBP as a function of Tween 85 concentration were conducted, and the particle size was measured using photon correlation spectroscopic method. The SES with optimal concentration of Tween 85(35%(w/w)) was selected based on its high drug loading, small particle size and low surfactant concentration. After an oral administration of IBP-SEDDS and IBP suspension in methyl cellulose equivalent to 40.0 mg/kg to rats, the pharmacokinetic parameters were compared. The $C_{max}(163.17\;vs\;88.82\;{\mu}g/ml)$, $AUC(12897.01\;vs\;8751.13\;{\mu}g\;min/ml)$ and Bioavailability(86.44 vs 58.65%) significantly increased but $T_max(10\;vs\;20\;min)$ was significantly advanced. The current SEDDS containing IBP provide an alternative to improve an oral bio-availability of IBP.

  • The present study described an antimicrobial spray composition comprising nanosized silica-silver particles, in which nano-silver is bound to silica molecules and a water-soluble polymer, the nanosized silica-silver particles prepared by irradiating a solution comprising a silver salt, silicate and the water-soluble polymer with radiation rays. According to a surfactant addition, the compositions were not turbid and were colorless. Also samples (cotton fabrics and wallpaper) were treated with the compositions also did not cause any stains even after drying under sunshine and at $80^{\circ}C$. Our results suggested that the spray formulation product was of practical use to control indoor fungi.

Emulsification of the Mixture of Catalytic Pyrolysis Oil Obtained under Methane and Nitrogen Environment in Diesel Using Span 80 and Atlox 4916 as Surfactants

  • Emulsions were prepared using a mixture of bio-oil obtained from the pyrolysis of sawdust in an N2 environment and Quercus mongolica in a CH4 environment for both non-catalytic and catalytic cases. Both prepared emulsions were examined by measuring the physical stability and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The emulsion with HLB 5.8 (Span 80 and Atlox 4916) for the ratio of bio-oil (B-oil and C-oil): surfactant: diesel = 10% : 3% : 87% showed stability for 15 days. Combining oils produced in N2 and CH4 environments could be a potential solution for generating high-quality emulsions with a high heating value.
