꼬마사과를 활용하여 다양한 발효 제조방법과 설탕량이 발효에 미치는 영향 (The Study of Thinned Young Apples Fermentation by Manipulating Preparation Treatment and Sugar Content)

  • This paper investigates the possibility to increase the economic value of the thinned young apple trough fermentation process. It is studies the optimal fermentation condition of thinned young apple by manipulating preparation treatment and sugar content. To do this following steps are done. Firstly, different preparation treatment for thinned young apple such as whole apple, cutting apple, and blending apple were done. The different sugar content such as $24^{\circ}Brix$, $15^{\circ}Brix$ and $4^{\circ}Brix$ was added. Secondly, the sugar contents and pH level were measured during fermentation process. Finally, statistical analysis was used to examine the relation between the preparation treatment, sugar content and pH level during the fermentation process. The experimental result shows that the different preparation treatment influences to the fermentation process. The blending apple treatment gave lower pH level compared to other kind treatments. The sugar content of thinned young apple was decrease during the fermentation process. The statistical analysis shows that the manipulation preparation treatment and sugar content affect the final pH level and whole fermentation process. Experimental result shows that the thinned young apple fermentation could be proposed as new alternative product in the market. The best fermentation process was obtained from blending thinned young apple treatment with $24^{\circ}Brix$.

  • We developed nausea, caused by disorder of autonomic nervous system, detection system using bio-signal analysis and artificial neural network in virtual reality enironment. We used 16 bio-signals, 9 EEGs, EOG, ECG, SKT, PPG, GSR, RSP, EGC, which has own analysis methods. We estimated nausea level by artificial neural network.

Multi-Level Thresholding based on Non-Parametric Approaches for Fast Segmentation

  • Purpose: In image segmentation via thresholding, Otsu and Kapur methods have been widely used because of their effectiveness and robustness. However, computational complexity of these methods grows exponentially as the number of thresholds increases due to the exhaustive search characteristics. Methods: Particle swarm optimization (PSO) and genetic algorithms (GAs) can accelerate the computation. Both methods, however, also have some drawbacks including slow convergence and ease of being trapped in a local optimum instead of a global optimum. To overcome these difficulties, we proposed two new multi-level thresholding methods based on Bacteria Foraging PSO (BFPSO) and real-coded GA algorithms for fast segmentation. Results: The results from BFPSO and real-coded GA methods were compared with each other and also compared with the results obtained from the Otsu and Kapur methods. Conclusions: The proposed methods were computationally efficient and showed the excellent accuracy and stability. Results of the proposed methods were demonstrated using four real images.

춘계재배시 양액재배 베드내 통기수준 차이가 오이의 생육 및 과실수량에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Aeration Level to Root-zone on the Growth and Fruit Yield of the Hydroponically Grown Cucumber Plants in Spring Season)

  • 초장과 엽수에 있어서는 별도의 배수판을 설치한 Bio-2처리구에서 높게 나타났고 fan을 이용한 강제환기를 시킨 Fan처리구에서는 낮게 나타났다. 경경과 엽면적에 있어서는 무통기처리구인 대조구에서 높게 나타난 반면 경경에 있어서는 Fan처리구와 배수구 통기구인 Bio-1처리구는 생육후기에 있어서 크게 차이가 나지는 않았으나 본 실험에서는 낮게 나타났다. 엽면적은 Fan처리구가 가장 낮게 나타났다. fan을 설치하여 강제환기를 시킨 Fan처리구가 과실수량과 과중, 과장에 있어서는 다른 처리구에 비해 높게 나타났고 무통기구인 대조구가 가장 낮았다. 전반적인 생육이나 과실수량 및 과실품질에 있어서는 근권의 수분함량비율이 비교적 안정적인 Bio-2처리구가 가장 좋은 것으로 나타났다.

  • This network system for home care realized communication by the bio-physical signal, to convey physical rhythm. Four function of displacement had point of a Vision, Somatosensory, Vestibular and CNS. Bio-physical signal was decided to design a maximum points and minimum points with 0.01unit in reference level. Bio-physical signal was checked to compound physical condition of body posture for sensory organ. There detected a measurement of Vision, Somatosensory, Vestibular, CNS and BMI. The service of network system of home can be used to support a health care system for health assistant in health care center. It will expect to manage a physical parameter for network communication.

  • The production of bio-energy crops is a major research project in the emphasizing the "low carbon green growth" strategy. For this, the possibility of the introduction of the new energy crops improve the agricultural income from fanning must be diagnosed. This study describes the level of agricultural income per unit area by cropping system based on the income of crops in the field. Especially, we have chosen the southern part attracting the attention in the possible area of the bio-energy crop production. This study consists of five chapters. Chapter I is the introduction. Chapter II is on the status of the southern part cropping system and the analysis of the economic value. Chapter III is on the economic value analysis introducing new bio-energy crops. Chapter IV is on the comparative analysis for the economic value of the croping system introducing new bio-energy crops. Chapter V is the conclusion.

Evaluation of Robust Classifier Algorithm for Tissue Classification under Various Noise Levels

  • Ultrasonic surgical devices are routinely used for surgical procedures. The incision and coagulation of tissue generate a temperature of $40^{\circ}C-150^{\circ}C$ and depend on the controllable output power level of the surgical device. Recently, research on the classification of grasped tissues to automatically control the power level was published. However, this research did not consider the specific characteristics of the surgical device, tissue denaturalization, and so on. Therefore, this research proposes a robust algorithm that simulates noise to resemble real situations and classifies tissue using conventional classifier algorithms. In this research, the bioimpedance spectrum for six tissues (liver, large intestine, kidney, lung, muscle, and fat) is measured, and five classifier algorithms are used. A signal-to-noise ratio of additive white Gaussian noise diversifies the testing sets, and as a result, each classifier's performance exhibits a difference. The k-nearest neighbors algorithm shows the highest classification rate of 92.09% (p < 0.01) and a standard deviation of 1.92%, which confirms high reproducibility.

  • The analysis method for qualitative analysis of the screening method that can be performed prior to the quantitative analysis of individual pesticide was reviewed in order to meet the safety standards that are being strengthened in the field of pesticide residue testing of herbal medicines. Among the residual pesticides presented in the Korean Pharmacopoeia, 56 pesticides, excluding 15 pesticides that need to be individually analyzed, were selected for analysis using QuEChERS preprocessing and GC-MS/MS, which are used in the existing agricultural products field. For each pesticide, the detection limit level of 0.001-0.005 mg/kg and the quantitative limit level of 0.002-0.017 mg/kg were confirmed. In the recovery test in which the standard was treated at a concentration of 0.02 mg/kg, it was confirmed that the proportion of pesticides satisfying the recovery of 70-120% was 85.7-96.4% for each herbal medicine, so it was confirmed that it was a level that could be reviewed by the screening method.

저성능 자기차폐실에서 64채널 DROS 2차 미분계 시스템의 잡음 특성 (Noise Characteristics of 64-channel 2nd-order DROS Gradiometer System inside a Poorly Magnetically-shielded Room)

  • We have developed a second-order double relaxation oscillation SQUID(DROS) gradiometer with a baseline of 35 mm, and constructed a poorly magnetically-shielded room(MSR) with an aluminum layer and permalloy layers for magnetocardiography(MCG). The 2nd-order DROS gradiometer has a noise level of 20 $fT/{\surd}Hz$ at 1 Hz and 8 $fT/{\surd}Hz$ at 200 Hz inside the heavily-shielded MSR with a shielding factor of $10^3$ at 1 Hz and $10^4-10^5$ at 100 Hz. The poorly-shielded MSR, built of a 12-mm-thick aluminum layer and 4-6 permalloy layers of 0.35 mm thickness, is 2.4mx2.4mx2.4m in size, and has a shielding factor of 40 at 1 Hz, $10^4$ at 100 Hz. Our 64-channel second-order gradiometer MCG system consists of 64 2nd-order DROS gradiometers, flux-locked loop electronics, and analog signal processors. With the 2nd-order DROS gradiometers and flux-locked loop electronics installed inside the poorly-shielded MSR, and with the analog signal processor installed outside it, the noise level was measured to be 20 $fT/{\surd}Hz$ at 1 Hz and 8 $fT/{\surd}Hz$ at 200 Hz on the average even though the MSR door is open. This result leads to a low noise level, low enough to obtain a human MCG at the same level as that measured in the heavily-shielded MSR. However, filters or active shielding is needed fur clear MCG when there is large low-frequency noise from heavy air conditioning or large ac power consumption near the poorly-shielded MSR.
