  • We define the notion of a residuated lattice valued function on a set as Jun and Song have done in BCK-algebras. We also investigate related properties of residuated lattice valued function. We establish the codes generated by residuated lattice valued function and conversely we give residuated lattice valued function and residuated lattice obtained by the giving binary block-code.

  • The authors have assembled a sample of 80 W UMa binary systems (42 W-subtype and 38 A-subtype) whose light curves have all been solved by means of the recent W-D code and combined with up-to-date radial velocity solutions. The absolute parameters (masses, radii and luminosities) have been derived (without any constraint on the physical parameters). The main results of this paper are: (1) the mass-luminosity relations for both W&A-subtypes. as well as for all W UMa contact binaries have been shown, (2) the mass-radius relations have been found for both subtypes, (3) some remarks on the evolution status have been presented.

  • A combinational circuit is one of the fundamental elements in digital circuits, containing electronic computers. W.A. Davis presented a new approach to the problem of assigning binary input codes so that the combinational circuits necessary to realize the given output functions may be minimized. This paper has derived an algorithm for determining the actual cost of a given assignment scheme in Davis method. First, the combinations of partitions realizing the output functions are obtained and then those among them implementing all of the output functions are found by using a table. In consequence it has been proved that by this algorithm the process of the assignment in a schcme with 16 states and 3 determined partitions can be reduced to 1/10$^{6}$ .

  • Error control performance of the (16, 7) minimum-bandwidth binary error cotrol line code (MB-ECLC) according to decoding algorithms is analyzed and compared in this paper. As a result , when retransmission is not allowed or meaningless. to reduce performance degradation ad computational burden. the modified soft decision decoding algorithm using the structure of (16,7) MB-ELEC is proposed. The error cotnrol capability of this modified algorithm is far better than that of a hard decision decoding algorithm, and almost same as that of a full soft decision decoding algorithm. In additino, the number of comparisons for the modified algorithm is decreased more than 5 times as compared with a full soft decision decoding algorithm.

  • The Fano metric is the maximum likelihood decoding choice for convlutional code for binary symmetric channel. The Fano metric assumes that it has previous knowledge of channel error probability. However, the bit errors in real channel occur in bursts and the channel error probability can not be known exactly. Thus, the Fano metric is not the maximum likelihood choice for bursty-noise channel. In this paper universal metri which dose not require the previous knowlege of the channel transition probability is used for sequential decoding. It is shown that the complexity of the universal is much less than that of the Fano metric bursty-noise channel, since it is estimated on a branch by branch basis.

  • In this paper discusses single-phase DC-AC Inverter design of reversible power converter that driven by binary combination at different transformer winding ratio by BCD code level. It has a advantage that constructs a control system simply and obtain load current of good quality without filter circuit and free from noise or isolation for lower switching frequency. In this research, study on current type converter and inverter circuit that consist for possibility of AC-DC/DC-AC multi-level reversible converter.

  • A total of 583 observations (193 in ${\Delta}b$, 190 in ${\Delta}v$, 200 in ${\Delta}r$) for V523 Cas was made on 9 nights from September to December in 2008 using the 100 cm telescope with 2K CCD camera of the Chungbuk National University Observatory. With our data BVR light curves were constructed and 9 times of minimum light were determined. We also obtained physical parameters of the V523 Cas system by analysis of the BVR light curves using the Wilson-Devinney code.

  • This paper presents and analyses the closed-form expression of the average bit error rate (BER) for an asynchronous direct-sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) system with coherent binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulation scheme using a maximal ratio combining (MRC) diversity over a Rician fading channel. In addition to the average BER, outage probability, and user capacity of system are estimated as performance measures. The results are general enough so that it includes Rayleigh fading and nonfading channel with zero and infinite Rician factor, respectively, as special cases. The effects of various channel models, processing gains, and diversity orders on the system performances are also considered for the typical multipath delay profiles characterized by Rician fading channel.

  • An all-optical read only memory utilizing cross gain modulation in semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs) has been demonstrated for the first time to our knowledge. In our demonstration, an all-optical 2-to-4 line decoder constructed with SOAs has been employed for the construction of this all-optical read only memory. Storing four characters in an American standard code for information interchange (ASCII) format has been successfully carried out. Each character consisting of seven binary bits could be read out at a rate of 10 Giga characters per second.

  • This paper presents the application of a turbo coding technique combined with a bandwidth efficient method known as trellis-coded modulation. A transformation applied to the incoming I-channel and Q-channel symbols allows the use of an off-the-shelf binary/quadrature phase shift keying (B/QPSK) turbo decoder without any modifications. A conventional turbo decoder then operates on transformed symbols to estimate the coded bits. The uncoded bits are decoded based on the estimated coded bits and locations of the received symbols.
