  • In this paper, a model is proposed to comprehensively evaluate the computational power. The five forces model of computational power solves the problem that the measurement units of different indexes are not unified in the process of computational power evaluation. It combines the bidirectional projection method with TOPSIS method. This model is more scientific and effective in evaluating the comprehensive situation of computational power. Lastly, an example shows the validity and practicability of the model.

  • As technology has developed and cost for data processing has reduced, big data market has grown bigger. Developed countries such as the United States have constantly invested in big data industry and achieved some remarkable results like improving advertisement effects and getting patents for customer service. Every company aims to achieve long-term survival and profit maximization, but it needs to establish a good strategy, considering current industrial conditions so that it can accomplish its goal in big data industry. However, since domestic big data industry is at its initial stage, local companies lack systematic method to establish competitive strategy. Therefore, this research aims to help local companies diagnose their big data capabilities through a reference model and big data capability assessment system. Big data reference model consists of five maturity levels such as Ad hoc, Repeatable, Defined, Managed and Optimizing and five key dimensions such as Organization, Resources, Infrastructure, People, and Analytics. Big data assessment system is planned based on the reference model's key factors. In the Organization area, there are 4 key diagnosis factors, big data leadership, big data strategy, analytical culture and data governance. In Resource area, there are 3 factors, data management, data integrity and data security/privacy. In Infrastructure area, there are 2 factors, big data platform and data management technology. In People area, there are 3 factors, training, big data skills and business-IT alignment. In Analytics area, there are 2 factors, data analysis and data visualization. These reference model and assessment system would be a useful guideline for local companies.

Impact of Big Five Model on Leadership Initiation in Critical Business Environment Among Marketing Executives

  • The present research intends to examine the relationship between the Big Five personality traits and leadership initiations among the marketing executives in Delhi NCR (INDIA), and seeks to uncover the predictors of leadership initiations within personality traits. The data are collected through online survey method using different social media platforms. A sample of 233 (male =136 and female =97) marketing executive's responses were included. The data collected with the help of self-reported Big Five model inventory and leadership initiation test. The collected data were analyzed statistically by using descriptive statistics, correlation. and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that the age of respondents inversely correlated with leadership initiation. Neuroticism revealed significant inverse correlation with leadership initiation, whereas significant positive correlations were found between extraversion, conscientiousness, agreeableness, and leadership initiations, while openness to experience revealed insignificant positive correlation with leadership initiation. Extraversion and conscientiousness appeared as the most dominant personality traits among marketing executives, irrespective of gender, that positively influenced leadership initiation and appeared as the predictor of leadership initiation. In male executives extraversion and age emerged as the predictors of leadership behavior, while in female executives extraversion and openness to experience personality traits appeared as the predictors of leadership initiation.

공공 빅데이터 플랫폼 성과평가 모형 (Performance Measurement Model for Open Big Data Platform)

  • 본 연구는 공공데이터 개방에 있어 공공데이터 제공자의 데이터 기여 측면과 공공데이터 사용자의 데이터 활용 측면을 고려하여 공공데이터 플랫폼 성과측정을 위한 프레임워크를 개발하였다. 본 연구는 NIST(2018)의 빅데이터 참조 아키텍처와 Neely et al.(2001)의 성과 프리즘을 기반으로 공공 빅데이터 플랫폼 성과평가 모형의 5개 영역을 제시하였다. 구체적으로, 공공데이터 플랫폼 성과평가 영역은 이해관계자 기여, 빅데이터 거버넌스 역량, 빅데이터 서비스 역량, 빅데이터 정보기술(IT) 역량, 그리고 이해관계자 만족으로 구성된다. 본 연구에서 제시한 공공 빅데이터 플랫폼 성과평가 모형의 5개 영역과 24개 평가지표에 대한 측정 문항은 총 75개 항목으로 구성되었다.

한국어판 아동용 간편 5요인 성격질문지(K-BFQC-SF) 타당화 연구 (Validation of Korean short version of the Big Five Questionnaire for children)

  • 본 연구는 아동의 5요인 성격 특성을 측정하기 위해 Big Five Questionnaire for Children(BFQ-C; Barbaranelli, Caprara. Rabasca, & Pastoreli, 2003)에 기초하여 학교장면에서 간편하게 활용할 수 있는 한국어판 아동용 간편 5요인 성격질문지(K-BFQC-SF)를 구성하고, 이 질문지에 대한 신뢰도 및 타당도를 검증하는 것이었다. 이를 위해 영문 BFQ-C 65문항을 번안하여 초등학교 5, 6학년 278명을 대상으로 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하고, 일부 문항의 제거 과정을 거쳐 성격 5요인의 구성 개념을 포괄할 수 있는 15문항의 간편형 5요인 성격 질문지를 구성하였다. 축약된 15문항은 확인적 요인분석을 통해 구인타당도를 검증하였다. 한국어판 아동용 간편 5요인 성격질문지의 준거타당도를 알아보기 위해 초등학교 5, 6학년 252명을 대상으로 우울, 학업성적, 진로성숙도와의 상관분석을 수행하였다. 그 결과 15문항의 간편형 척도와 준거변인들간의 관계는 기존에 보고된 연구 결과와 유사한 수준을 보였다. 마지막으로 아동의 자기보고와 성인관찰자인 교사의 평정자료가 서로 일치하는지 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시한 결과 양호한 수준을 보였다. 한국어판 아동용 간편 5요인 성격질문지는 학교장면에서 학생들의 성격특성을 이해하는데 유용하게 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

청소년의 Big Five 성격 유형과 자기 조절 성향이 게임 과용, 선용 행태에 미치는 영향 (Adolescents' Self-control and Big Five Personality Types Affecting Maladaptive and Adaptive Computer Game Use State)

  • 컴퓨터 게임에 빠져든 청소년들은 대체로 게임 과용 상태나 선용 상태에 이르게 된다. 저자들은 이 두 게임 이용행태는 공통적으로 컴퓨터 이용시간과 관련이 있지만 그 정도는 청소년 개인마다 다르며 각자의 자기 조절 성향과 관련이 있다고 본다. 이를 실증적으로 분석하기 위하여 저자들은 게임 이용시간이 그들의 게임 과용과 선용 행태에 영향을 미치고 그들의 자기 조절 성향이 이 두 관계를 조절하며, 개인의 그리고 자기 조절 성향은 다섯 가지 Big Five 성격 유형에 의해 예측되는 경로 모형을 연구 모형으로 제시하였다. 이 연구 모형의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증하기 위한 데이터는 국내 초등학교, 중학교, 고등학생 999명을 대상으로 추출하였다. 분석 결과에 의하면, Big Five 성격유형 중 청소년들의 개방성, 성실성은 자기 조절에 정(+)의 영향을, 외향성, 불안성, 친화성은 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 청소년들의 자기 조절 성향은 그들의 게임 이용시간이 게임 과용 행태에 미치는 영향을 음으로 조절했지만 선용 행태에 미치는 양의 조절 영향은 유의하지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 청소년의 Big Five 성격 유형과 자기 조절 성향, 그리고 게임 이용시간의 관계 모형은 중독과 같은 그들의 게임 과용 행태를 예방하는 도구로 활용할 수 있다.

Predicting required licensed spectrum for the future considering big data growth

  • This paper proposes a new spectrum forecasting (SF) model to estimate the spectrum demands for future mobile broadband (MBB) services. The model requires five main input metrics, that is, the current available spectrum, site number growth, mobile data traffic growth, average network utilization, and spectrum efficiency growth. Using the proposed SF model, the future MBB spectrum demand for Malaysia in 2020 is forecasted based on the input market data of four major mobile telecommunication operators represented by A-D, which account for approximately 95% of the local mobile market share. Statistical data to generate the five input metrics were obtained from prominent agencies, such as the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, OpenSignal, Analysys Mason, GSMA, and Huawei. Our forecasting results indicate that by 2020, Malaysia would require approximately 307 MHz of additional spectrum to fulfill the enormous increase in mobile broadband data demands.

외식업체 종사원의 성격이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 - 직무만족의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (Foodservice Employees' Big 5 and Its Impact on Turnover Intention - Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Job Satisfaction -)

  • In this study, the influence of sub-factors of Big Five personality (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, openness to experience) to job satisfaction and turnover intention, and mediating effect of job satisfaction between Big Five personality and turnover intention were empirically analysed. Also the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention was investigated. The sample of this study were customer-contact employees of restaurant among Youngnam province. 243 questionnaires were used for the empirical analyses. According to the empirical analysis results, openness to experience and conscientiousness respectively had positive influences to job satisfaction and turnover intention. Also neuroticism gave negative influence to turnover intention. Another research finding of this study was that mediating effect of job satisfaction existed in the causal relationship of 'openness to experience' and conscientiousness to turnover intention. Managerial implications of the research findings are that restaurant managers are recommended to select employees of having much of conscientiousness and 'openness to experience', and to employ those of having much of agreeableness. In the field of restaurant industry, training is very important for employees to foster these personalities, because this industry does not have environment of hiring employees of having much of these personalities. Also training can be applied to employees of having high neuroticism for minimizing their turnover intention.

A new model and testing verification for evaluating the carbon efficiency of server

  • To cope with the risks of climate change and promote the realization of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, this paper first comprehensively considers the policy background, technical trends and carbon reduction paths of energy conservation and emission reduction in data center server industry. Second, we propose a computing power carbon efficiency of data center server, and constructs the carbon emission per performance of server (CEPS) model. According to the model, this paper selects the mainstream data center servers for testing. The result shows that with the improvement of server performance, the total carbon emissions are rising. However, the speed of performance improvement is faster than that of carbon emission, hence the relative carbon emission per unit computing power shows a continuous decreasing trend. Moreover, there are some differences between different products, and it is calculated that the carbon emission per unit performance is 20-60KG when the service life of the server is five years.

성격과 친밀도를 지닌 로봇의 일반화된 상황 입력에 기반한 감정 생성 (Robot's Emotion Generation Model based on Generalized Context Input Variables with Personality and Familiarity)

  • For a friendly interaction between human and robot, emotional interchange has recently been more important. So many researchers who are investigating the emotion generation model tried to naturalize the robot's emotional state and to improve the usability of the model for the designer of the robot. And also the various emotion generation of the robot is needed to increase the believability of the robot. So in this paper we used the hybrid emotion generation architecture, and defined the generalized context input of emotion generation model for the designer to easily implement it to the robot. And we developed the personality and loyalty model based on the psychology for various emotion generation. Robot's personality is implemented with the emotional stability from Big-Five, and loyalty is made of familiarity generation, expression, and learning procedure which are based on the human-human social relationship such as balance theory and social exchange theory. We verify this emotion generation model by implementing it to the 'user calling and scheduling' scenario.
