In this paper we review a bi-aspect nonparametric test for the two-sample problem under the location translation model and propose a new one to accommodate a more broad class of underlying distributions. Then we compare the performance of our proposed test with other existing ones by obtaining empirical powers through a simulation study. Then we discuss some interesting features related to the bi-aspect test with a comment on a possible expansion for the proposed test as concluding remarks.

To make metalized wood composites of 10 different korean wood species, it was tested by Low temperature melting Bi-Sn alloy injection method at high temperature and high pressure condition. Metalized wood composite of each wood species had light ash color, but still maintained its own natural wood grain and wood figures. It was evaluated on coating properties. Furthermore, it also was check on effect of coating as like a changes of main color, wood grain and wood figures. The results of test were following as; a coating properties as like a cold resistance, heat resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, durability of abrasion, and cross-cut test was proper on the conditions of the KS standard. And, In aspect of color changes, the metalized wood composites of 10 different korean wood species had a light ash color, but still maintained its own natural wood grain and wood figures. Also, the more weight per gain of alloy is, the more grey background of metalized wood composite is.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to use fMRI and clinical prognosis criteria to evaluate therapeutic interventions in stroke patients with corona radiata infarct and acquire fundamental information about recovery mechanisms. Methods: Four subjects (2 men, 2 women) who had strokes with corona radiata infarct were recruited. For all subjects, motor functions such as motricity index (MI), modified brunnstrom classification (MBC), functional ambulatory category (FAC), and bathel index (BI) were evaluated. Evaluations were done at least 4 times over a period of approximately 6~7 months from stroke onset. We compared the final evaluation with the first. Results: All patients with corona radiata infarct showed improvement in motor outcomes with the passing of time. The strength of all patients improved from zero or trace levels to normal or good levels in the MI (Motricity Index) test. Other motor outcomes including the modified brunnstrom classification (MBC), the functional ambulatory category (FAC), and the bathel index (BI) also improved with the passing of time. Conclusion: Stroke patients with corona radiata infarcts change for the better over time. Therefore, one can introduce clinical interventions by the aspect of progress in functional motor recovery.

A lot of long-span marine bridge, which connects land to island or island to island, are being designed and constructed lately in south-west coast in South Korea. In the past, caisson foundations in marine were mainly adopted in construction and stability aspect, however, nowadays with development of pile construction technology, drilled shaft foundations are mainly adopted. As the long span cable stayed bridge and suspension bridge applied with lots of loads are being designed, the scale of pile foundations are getting larger. As the construction cost of substructure including foundation in marine bridges is too high, the appropriate evaluation of the axial bearing capacity of pile becomes a core factor to decide the construction cost of foundation if the drilled shaft is adopted as foundation type of bridge. The evaluation values of skin friction and end bearing capacity of drilled shaft in weathered rock suggested in south Korea are only to introduce the foreign specifications, and most of them are designed in a kind of hard soil layer. Also the allowable load of pile section is less than the expected bearing capacity of pile in the soil condition since the allowable capacity of pile is undervalued. Recently in order to improve this factor the bi-axial hydraulic load test of pile was taken, the data of load transfer analysis of pile, unit of skin friction and end bearing capacity are accumulated. In our country, the design of piles are made with ASD, however, LRFD considering service, strength and extreme state was adopted in Incheon Grand Bridge implemented with BTL, and the research to systematize the resistance coefficient appropriate at home country are being progressed.

YBCO coated conductor is named by second generation superconductor tapes. It is different with first generation superconductor tapes. YBCO coated conductor's specific difference with Bi-2223/Ag tape is more strong mechanical durability. This is important role to apply to superconducting machines. For mechanical transforming of YBCO coated conductors, we are using the well designed former. The merit of transformation is several. First, we vary the superconducting characteristics according to mechanical stress. Second, we reduce the volume of superconductor, so we achieve reducing the volume of superconducting machines. On this study, we experiment the transporting current characteristics of one types YBCO coated conductor. YBCO coated conductor with Ie of 70 A and voltage grade of 0.6 V/cm were connected to spiral former to conduct current application test.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to present fundamental information regarding clinical prognosis and clinical criteria for therapeutic intervention in stroke patients with focal pons infarction. Methods: Four stroke patients (male: 2, female: 2) who were diagnosed with pons infarction were recruited. All subjects had motor functions evaluated using methods such as the Motricity Index (MI), the Modified Brunnstrom Classification (MBC), Functional Ambulatory Category (FAC), and the Bathel Index (BI). Evaluations were done at least 4 times over a period that was approximately 8~11 months from stroke onset. We compared the final evaluation with the first evaluation. Results: All patients with focal pons infarction showed improvement with time in motor function. The physical strength of all patients was improved to normal or good grades from zero or trace grades in the Motricity Index test. Also, other motor functions such as ambulatory capacity and activities of daily living (ADL) improved with time. Conclusion: Aspects of functional recovery and clinical prognosis are clearly predictable for specific patients with focal pons infarction. In addition, adequate therapeutic interventions can be provided clinical criterion to patients, according to aspect of functional recovery. Accordingly, patients with pons infarction change for the better over time.

This research aims to construct a model that combines brand love, brand loyalty, brand image, customer satisfaction, and service quality into a single model, with brand loyalty coming foremost, and test its predictive power in building brand love. Moreover, mediating effect of customer satisfaction and brand image on service quality and brand loyalty affecting brand love was checked. The study adopted an alliance context using an existing SERVQUAL model, a bi-dimensional aspect of brand loyalty and parasocial love relationship theory, to identify brand love as a construct or outcome in the consumer-brand relationship. Using a quantitative approach, survey questionnaires were distributed by unrestricted random sampling among 507 Saudia Airlines customers. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 3.0. The results revealed significant relationships between four variables except for the brand image. It was found that brand image had no mediating effect on the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty. The outcome of this study highlights the importance of airline alliances for service quality, which leads to positive customer satisfaction, brand image, and customer loyalty. A unique contribution of the study is that it revealed that brand loyalty is also an antecedent of brand love.
