  • PURPOSES : This study is to analysis for benefit and construction cost in underpass for small vehicles. METHODS : The study was performed using the traffic software VISSIM 5.20 for analysis on a variety of traffic conditions and analysed of benefits of changes through analysis of travel speed and travel time after modeling of existing underpass and small vehicle underpass. RESULTS : Results of this study, the benefits will be reduced by the introduction underpass for small vehicles were analyzed because heavy vehicles use the intersection above the underpass. However, it was required economic analysis considering both the benefits reduction and the construction costs reduction because it has the effect of reducing the construction cost. Showed that the difference in benefit changes depending on the v/c and heavy vehicles ratio and construction cost was difference by types of underpass. As a result of performing economic analysis with total benefits and construction cost, it was analyzed to be economical in underpass over a certain size. CONCLUSIONS : The result of this study are expected to be able to contribute to reviewing for feasibility due to the small vehicles underpass introduction and economic analysis. The study is case study to the underpass in Daegu. Therefore, the future requires the calculation of benefits reflect a wider range of traffic conditions and the economic analysis to construction cost calculation for various types of grad separation facilities.

  • As vehicle sharing service is being widely used in China. The sharing economy appeared to be a way to make people's lives more convenient and to utilize limited resources efficiently. Sharing economy companies have created an app to satisfy users' needs with providing more benefits. Although research on vehicle sharing services has been continuously conducted at the level of the sharing economy, there are not many empirical studies related to the perception of the sharing economy from the consumer's point of view. In this sense, this study considered the perceived relationship benefits (social benefits, economic benefits, psychological benefits, and functional benefits) of Didi chuxing service as the key independent variables influencing users' confirmation and satisfaction, And suggests that users' confirmation and satisfaction are the key determinants of Didi continuance intention . To test the proposed research model, this study conducted structural equation model using 268 data collected on the users who have experience of Didi service. According to the empirical analysis results, This study verifies that: First, social benefits, economic benefits, psychological benefits, and functional benefits are determinants of user's satisfaction. Second, expectation confirmation depends on economic benefits, psychological benefits, functional benefits and social influence, meanwhile, social benefit has no effect on expectation confirmation. Third, expectation confirmation is proved to be a positive predictor of users' satisfaction. Finally, this results indicate that continuous use intention is determined by users' satisfaction.

  • The present study investigated the impact of users' perceived benefits on their happiness and loyalty towards the university's online class system. Furthermore, the notion of loyalty was delineated into cognitive, emotional, intentional, and behavioral loyalty, and a systematic analysis was conducted to assess their respective impacts. The analysis was conducted using survey data obtained from a sample of 298 college students who possessed prior experience with the university's online class system. The analysis of the survey revealed that the satisfaction with the online class system was positively influenced by perceived practical benefits and symbolic benefits. However, it was found that emotional benefits did not have a statistically significant impact on satisfaction. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that cognitive loyalty exerts a substantial beneficial impact on emotional loyalty, as well as a sequential and considerable positive influence on active and behavioral commitment inside the online class system established through perceived benefits. This study holds significance as it conducted an empirical analysis on the impact of users' perceived benefits of the university's online class system on their satisfaction levels, as well as its influence on the four-stage development process of loyalty.

The 161 personal data on medical care for finger-amputated patients due to industrial accident(88 in 1994, 73 in 1995) of Regional Labor Office and hospital characteristics were analyzed. The major results of this study were as follows : According to stepwise multiple regression analysis of patient days, number of amputated finger, location of hospital, bed capacity of hospital, presence of plastic surgery in hospital, number of orthopedic specialist per 100 beds, sick leave benefits per day were the major significant variables in order. In stepwise multiple regression analysis with medical care benefits as a dependent variable, presence of plastic surgery in hospital, number of orthopedic specialist per 100 beds, number of amputated finger, sick leave benefits per day, age, bed capacity of hospital were the major significant variables in order. The minimum optimal size with the lowest medical care benefits was a hospital with 300 beds. This shows that the economy of scale is also applicable for hospital industry. In summary, presence of plastic surgery in hospital, number of orthopedic specialist per 100 beds, number of amputated finger, sick leave benefits per day, bed capacity of hospital were the major significant variables in both patient days and medical care benefits.
