국민연금 노령연금 수급자의 기대여명과 이를 적용한 수익비 산출 (Estimating the Benefit-Cost Ratios by Applying Life-Expectancies of National Pension Old-Age Pensioners)

  • 본 연구에서는 수익비를 국민연금의 노령연금 수급자의 기대여명을 사용하여 계산하고 국민 전체의 기대여명을 사용하여 계산한 수익비와 비교한다. 이를 위해 CBD 확장모형을 이용하여 추계한 국민 전체의 사망률에 노령연금 수급자의 경험 사망확을 적용하여 노령연금 수급자의 미래 사망률을 전망한다. 연구 결과 노령연금 수급자의 사망률이 적용된 기대여명과 이로부터 산출된 수익비가 국민 전체 사망률이 적용된 결과보다 높은 것으로 나타났다.

가로수 조성 유형에 따른 비용편익 비교 분석 (Cost-Benefit Analysis for Planting Type of Street Trees)

  • The objective of this study is to estimate the cost and benefits of street trees for their planting types, specifically, single row, single row+bottom, double row, double row+bottom. Different planting types are compared and analyzed by using Net Present Value (NPV) and benefit-cost ratio (BCR). Existing data are collected from the literature reviews for the use of meta-analysis method for estimating cost and benefit. The elements for analyzing costs are management and planting costs, and benefits are air purification, energy saving and landscape view. The discount rate is applied at a minimum of 3% and a maximum of 5.5%. The unit used in this calculation is km/year. The result shows that the net benefit is highest in double row, followed by single row, double row+bottom, and single row+bottom. The BCR is the highest in double row, followed by single row, double row+bottom, and single row+bottom. The BCR reaches the break-even point from 9 to 17 years depending on the planting types.

건설업 보건관리자 선임 관련 비용편익분석 (Analysis of Cost Benefit Related to Appointing a Health Care Manager in the Construction Industry)

  • Purpose: The construction worker has diverse harmful factors such as noise, dust, and dealing with chemicals. Therefore this research aimed to examine the necessity of appointing a health manager in the construction industry by examining the cost-benefit analysis when the construction industry appoints a health manager. Methods: In order to calculate the healthcare staff employment cost and the benefits from their activities in 1,425 construction companies with the staff of 300 or more people during 2011, this study analyzed existing data and existing research data, as well as national data. Results: Total annual costs were 99,920,070,900 won and total annual benefits were 324,807,182,625 won. Benefits were found to be 224,887,111,725 won exceeding costs. Benefit/cost ratio resulting from appointing a health manager in the construction industry workplaces was 3.25 times. Conclusion: The findings of this research can be used as the base data to make rational decision to positively encourage the employment of healthcare staff in construction companies pursuant to relevant laws.

  • 본 연구는 최근 정보업무의 실제영역에서 정보의 부가가치와 정보서비스의 경제성 문제가 점점 중요한 문제로 부각되고 있는 현상을 그 배경으로 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 정보의 가치와 정보의 효율성 측정에 관한 논의를 통해 정보의 경제성 문제를 정보학적 관점에서 재조명하기 위한 것이다. 분석 결과 정보의 부가가치에 관한 논의는 수량화가 어려운 효과적 측면과 관련되며, 효율성 측면에서 바라볼 경우 정보의 경제성 분석은 비용편익 분석과 거의 동일한 개념임을 보여주고 있다. 본 연구는 또한 국립디지털도서관 DLP에 대한사례연구를 통해 정보학의 실제 분야에 적용할 수 있는 경제성 분석의 실험적 모형을 제시하였다.

흉부촬영시 관전압과 선질에 따른 적절한 격자의 선택을 위한 실험 (The Experiment of Grid Characteristics for High-voltage Radiography of Chest)

  • Grids can improve the diagnostic quality of chest radiography by trapping the greater part of scattered radiation thus providing more detailed. chest radiographic images. It is most effective mathod of reduce the scatter ratio but must increase the expour factor. The benefit of use of grid is improve the contrast and the loss is increase of patient dose. In chest radiography especially hard quality high voltage radiography it will have to be considered to select the optimum grid with view point of benefit and loss. In this experiment, author got some result of characteristics about 4 different grids with film method. 1. There was no difference the scatter ratio in case of no grid and the scatter ratio was about 60%. 2. 16 : 1 grid was excellent of scatter reduction factor in high voltage chest radiography, next was 10 : 1, CROSS, MICRO FINE grid have low scatter reduction rate compare to 16:1, 10:1 grid. 3. The bucky factor of CROSS grid in accordance of kVp was find out the highest in 4 grids, on the contraly 10 : 1 grid was profitable to the exposure does. 4. With careful consideration in the point of scatter reducion rate and bucky factor, author suggest the 10 : 1 linear grid on the use of chest radiography in $80{\sim}120\;kVp$, 16 : 1 grid in $120{\sim}140\;kVp$.

폐광지역 경제자립형 사업에 대한 비용-편익 분석 : 강원도 삼척시를 중심으로 (Cost-benefit analysis of project of promoting the economy in Samcheok City)

  • '폐광지역개발지원에 관한 특별법'에 의거하여 지자체들이 추진 중에 있는 경제자립형 사업은 폐광지역의 경제 활성화를 위한 한 가지 방안으로 주목을 받고 있다. 정부는 경제적 타당성 분석을 통해 지자체의 경제자립형 사업에 대한 예산 지원 유무를 결정하려고 하고 있다. 이러한 배경 하에서 본 논문은 내부수익률, 편익/비용 비율, 순현재가치의 기준을 이용하여 삼척시 경제자립형 사업의 경제적 타당성을 분석하고자 한다. 삼척시는 경제자립형 사업으로 육백산 화훼 휴양단지 조성사업과 유리조형 문화관광 테마파크 조성사업을 추진 중에 있다. 분석 결과, 육백산 화훼 휴양단지 조성사업의 순현재가치는 3,937백만원, 편익/비용 비율은 1.06, 내부수익률은 6.18%였으며, 유리조형 문화과광 테마파크 조성사업의 순현재가치는 8,311백만원, 편익/비용 비율은 1.34, 내부수익률은 9.74%로 분석되었다. 이러한 분석결과들은 각각 0, 1.0, 5.5%를 초과하므로, 3가지 경제성 판단 지표 모두 본 사업이 경제적 타당성을 확보함을 의미한다. 이러한 분석 결과는 삼척시 폐광지역 경제자립형 사업을 위한 정책결정에 있어서 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.

모자보건 증진사업에 대한 비용편익 분석 - 라오스 국가를 중심으로 - (Cost-Benefit Analysis of Maternal and Child Health Program - Focusing on Lao People's Democratic Republic -)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this analysis was to assess the maternal and child health program in Lao PDR, which was implemented to reduce maternal and child mortality in Laos. Target areas for the project included 2 provinces (Xiengkhuang, Houaphan) with all 18 districts within them. The beneficiaries of this project included 121,000 childbearing women and 62,000 children under 5 years old (LSIS, 2012). Methods: In this study, it was done for efficiency evaluation of the assistance projects of the health sector of maternal and child health promotion program in Laos that took place from 2010 to 2013. We conducted a cost-benefit analysis for the evaluation of the effectiveness of that program was being carried out effectively. Results: This evaluation adopted the Cost-Benefit analysis approach. Key findings of the Cost-Benefit analysis are the following: The Benefit-Cost Ratio of 1.012, Net Present Value of 84,250,000 Korean Won, an estimated Internal Rate of Return of 10.12%. These findings suggest that project activities were efficiently implemented. Conclusion: As a result, maternal and child health project in Laos has been analyzed that there was economic efficiency. Therefore, It is considered necessary and continued support expansion of program in the future. The direction of maternal and child health project in Laos, approach and community policy support must be included. Integrated approach between the program approach and overall health should be performed for healthy life habit.

노인환자에게 제공하는 개국약국 약료서비스의 경제적 가치 (Economic Value of Pharmaceutical Care for the Elderly Patients in Community Pharmacies)

  • This study was to evaluate economic impact of a comprehensive pharmaceutical care intervention provided by community pharmacists on drug-related morbidity and mortality in the elderly population, in a societal perspective. Clinical outcomes of pharmaceutical care included compliance increase, inappropriate medication discontinuation, and subsequent drug-related morbidity and mortality reduction. Economic outcomes included cost savings from direct medical costs reduction such as medication and healthcare resource utilization. Input costs for pharmaceutical care included pharmacist time and computerized prescription review supporting program costs. Model parameters of outcomes were derived from published literatures, and costs were from literatures and health insurance statistical data in Korea. Annual costs and benefits were estimated in the year 2005. Current usual care and standardized pharmaceutical care required 0.3 and 2.0 hours per year respectively, for elderly outpatient using average 4.4 prescription drugs per visit and average annual frequency of 17.8 pharmacy visits. Comprehensive pharmaceutical care provided to overall elderly outpatients at community pharmacies would have cost of \74,994 mil. and benefit of \357,002 mil. per year. Benefit:cost ratio was 4.8:1 and net benefit was \282,008 mil/year. It was corresponded to net benefit of \73,816/year for individual elderly patient. In addition, pharmaceutical care was estimated to reduce 1,531 drug-related deaths/year. Conclusively this study, a first attempt in Korea to evaluate an economic value of pharmaceutical care at community pharmacies, proved that it was a cost-effective intervention having significant economic benefit.

IoT기반 철도 화차 안전운송 통합 품질관리시스템에 관한 경제성 평가지표 분석 (Economic Evaluation Analysis of Effect of Train Freight Car Safety Transport Integrated Quality Management System Based on Internet of Things(IoT))

  • Purpose: The objective of this study is to verify the economic validation of quality management integrated train freight car by analyzing economic evaluation indicators such as benefit and cost, net present value, and inter rate of return. Methods: First, we itemize benefit and cost field by reviewing literatures; Benefit consists of 1)Safety, 2)Operation, and 3)Maintenance; Cost consists of 1)Set-up fee, 2)Wireless internet fee, and 3)Cloud storage using fee. Second, based on these estimated values, we conduct an economic evaluation analysis. Among them, benefit and cost, net present value, and internal rate of return are selected. Results: As a result, all estimated values are highly over criterion of economic validity($$B/C{\geq}_-1$$, $$NPV{\geq}_-0$$, $$IRR{\geq}_-R$$); 1)benefit over cost ratio is 28.22, 2)Net present value is 8,121.66million KRW, and 3)Internal rate of return value is 2272%. Conclusion: The findings of this study will help making a decision when train industry adopts IoT technology for improving the effectiveness.

  • We estimate the economic benefit of weather modification (precipitation enhancement and fog dissipation) by assuming its operation for the considered regions. Based on the statistical data, the economic benefit of the virtually operational precipitation enhancement experiments for the Andong and Imha basins, where the natural precipitation is relatively lack in South Korea, is calculated 348 for the water resources, 22,458 for forest fire prevention, and 28,458 million won/year for the drought relief. The benefit of the fog dissipation operation for the Incheon International Airport is estimated 7,365 million won/year for the flight delay due to fog. The calculated ratio of benefit to cost for precipitation enhancement operation for the basins is 14.07, which is comparable to that conducted in other countries.
