  • Investing in the tax-benefit funds is the best way for the inexperienced investors who do not have knowledge, expertise, and the time to research the information by themselves. This study describes the benefits of tax-benefit funds in Thailand. The tax-benefit funds consist of retirement mutual funds (RMFs) and super saving funds (SSFs). There are many kinds of funds investment policies on offer. The tax-benefit funds provide the opportunity to investors, which they are able to invest a small amount and draw more benefits. They hire fund managers to manage their money. These funds are able to help investors to meet their goals. The RMFs are suitable for investors who want to have money for retirement, investing every year, and getting tax exemption. The investors who invest in RMFs are able to deduct the tax income by including other retirement funds not exceeding THB500,000.00 per year. The SSFs match for the investors who need to obtain the tax exemption and long-term investment for at least ten years. The SSFs provide the benefit to investors that they are able to deduct taxable income not more than THB200,000.00 per year. Finally, these funds are tax-except and promoted for retirement savings.

  • Korea Electrical Safety Cooperation(KESCO) have provided the electrical safety speed-call service from 2007 year. Purpose of the service is to reduce discomfort of electricity use and to prevent electrical accident like as electrical fire and shock accident by providing emergency treatment service on fault of the residential electrical facilities notified in the specific house like as a lower-income group and a social welfare facility. But efficiency and economic evaluation of the electrical safety speed-call service is impossible because analysis on the quantitative effect of the service is difficult. This paper presents cost-benefit analysis method and result of the electrical safety speed-call service. The presented cost-benefit analysis method has a two-step process: the first step is to measure quantitative electrical fire prevention effect of the service by using electrical accident statistics and developing outcome analysis logic model of the service effect, and the second step is to analysis cost-benefit(B/C)of the service by calculating quantitative benefit analysis on the measured quantitative electrical fire prevention effect. The results showed that cost-benefit(B/C)of the electrical safety speed-call service is over 4 after 2010 year.

The questionnaires dealing with attribute dimension of internet shopping mall image, benefits sought, and demographic variables were selected from the previous studies or were developed for this study. The data from 319 respondents which were collected through the internet survey site was analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, and $X^2$-test. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Benefit sought by consumer in internet shopping malls was found to include six different factors: assortments of products, search efficiency, brand/fashionability, delivery convenience, promotion service and informativeness. 2. As a result of subdividing the consumers, four distinctive groups were formed on the basis of benefit factors: multi-benefit oriented group, convenience oriented group, brand oriented group and low-benefit oriented group. Demographic traits such as education and income level were proven to significantly differentiate the benefit segments. 3. • In this study, we investigate the welfare effect of mandatory prescription(MP) in Korea. An immediate effect of MP is the increase in the implicit price of prescribed medicine, which could be obtained easily from drug stores before MP. This will lower the quantity demanded. which will in turn reduce the abuse of drugs. The key to the cost-benefit analysis of MP, therefore, should be focused on this point; price increase in the cost side and quantity decrease in the benefit side. Since we do not have as much information as needed for the analysis, however, we made strong assumptions for the clarity of numbers; the severity of moral hazard of medical doctors related to the sales of hospital drugs, constant demand elasticity, constant benefit multiplier of reduced drug usage, and so on, With these rather strong assumptions, we find that i) the benefit side is much more sensitive to demand elasticity than the cost side effect ii) the larger the demand elasticity, the greater the size of net gain of MP, though the result depends on the size of the benefit multiplier. This analysis shows that we need to have more information on the specific institutional path of health benefit diffusion caused by the reduction of drug usage, which was the major target of MP.

  • Background: The purpose of this study is to emphasize the importance and necessity of the government's old-age preparation service by measuring the economic value of the old-age service and the policy direction and policy implications of the government's old-age preparation service project. Methods: Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) was used as an analytical method. CV methodology was used to calculate the Willingness to pay (WTP) for old-age preparation service and its value was estimated and the economic benefit of the project was estimated. Results: As a result of the analysis, the average monthly payment amount for the old service was calculated as 5,100 won, and the annual average payment amount was estimated to be 61,197.1 won. Conclusion: The present value of the benefit for 10 years with the discount rate of 5.5% is 484,651 won. Based on the value of peruser benefit, the total benefit value calculation result of the old-age preparation service considering the Willingness to pay for the next 10 years shows that the total benefit value of the old service, which occurs during the period from 2016 to 2025(10 years) was estimated at 415.1 billion won. As a result of calculating the benefit for each scenario, the present value of basic service is higher in all scenarios than the linked service.
