BCD를 섭취한 돼지의 부위별 콜레스테롤 함량 (Cholesterol Contents of Pork Fed Dietary β-Cyclodextrin)

  • 본 연구는 비육말기 돼지에서 베타사이클로덱스트린$\beta$-cyclodextrin의 급여가 돈육의 콜레스테롤 수준을 낮춘다는 것을 나타내고 있다. 120마리의 돼지에게 0, 5, 7, 10%의 $\beta$-cyclodextrin를 함유하는 사료를 35일 간 급여하였다. 혈액 총지질, 중성지방 및 총 콜레스테롤 함량은 $\beta$-cyclodextrin첨가구가 대조구에 비해서 낮게 나타났으며 처리구간 통계적인 유의차가 나타났다(p<0.05). 혈액 100 mL 당 지질은 대조구와 비교할 때 $\beta$-cyclodextrin 5.0%, $\beta$-cyclodextrin 7.0% 및 $\beta$-cyclodextrin 10.0% 첨가구에서 각각 63.22 mg, 73.98 mg, 82.12 mg의 유의적인 감소를 나타냈으며, 중성지방 56.24 mg, 55.48 mg, 60.02 mg, 총콜레스테롤 25.05 mg, 27.17 mg, 30.19 mg의 유의성 있는 감소경향을 보였다(p<0.05). 총스테로이드의 배설은 $\beta$-cyclodextrin 첨가수준이 증가할수록 대조구에 비해서 유의적으로 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 돼지고기의 부위별, 등지방, 삼겹살, 등심 및 햄의 콜레스테롤 함량은 대조구에 비해서 $\beta$-cyclodextrin 첨가수준이 높아질수록 유의적인 감소경향을 나타냈다(p<0.05). 돼지고기의 콜레스테롤 함량 감소율은 $\beta$-cyclodextrin 첨가구가 대조구와 비교할 때 15.31% 이상의 높은 감소율을 나타냈다(p<0.05). 본 연구 결과는 비육말기 돼지사료 내 $\beta$-cyclodextrin를 혼합 급여하여서 콜레스테롤 함량이 낮아진 새로운 기능성 돈육을 생산할 수 있음을 시사해준다.

  • From July 1th 2001 to October 31th 2001, the Clinical investigation studies were carried out 10 cases of patient with Bell' palsy using Trigger point treatment group, who had been treated in Han-seung Oriental Medical Clinic. The results were like below: 1. The distribution of sex : Male were 4cases. female were 6case and the female to male ratio was 1.5 : 1. 2. The distribution of contributing factor : Unknown reason was most predominant 4 cases, and then were revealed to labor too hard. mental stress(3 cases), trauma common cold(1 case) in turn. 3. The distribution of perid to fall ill : Under a week was the most number 6cases, and then were revealed a week under two weeks(3 cases), over two weeks(1 case) in turn. 4. About period of treatment : The Trigger Point treatment group is shorter than the Acupuncture treatment group. 5. The distribution of grade on admission in descending order : Gr I was the most number and then GrII, GrIII in turn. 6. The distribution of clinical symptoms on admission : Mastoid pain was the most number 9 cases and then lacrimal gland disorder 8 cases, dysgeusia 4cases, hyperacusis 2 cases, the others 2 cases in turn. 7. About effect of treatment : The Trigger point treatment group is more excellent than the Acupuncture treatment group. 8. The more patient age is young, the more effect of treatment was excellent, had nothing to do with both groups. 9. The more perid to fall ill is short, the more effect of treatment was excellent. had nothing to do with both groups. 10. About period of improved frontal belly : The Trigger point treatment group is more excellent than the Acupuncture treatment group.

치위생과 학생의 심폐소생술(CPR) 관련 지식수준 및 교육실태 (Knowledge and Educational Experience about CPR in Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과 학생의 심폐소생술 관련 지식수준 및 교육실태 분석을 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 2010년 5월 24일부터 2010년 6월 4일까지 서울 경기 충청지역에 소재한 5개 대학의 치위생과 학생(1,2,3학년)을 대상으로 조사자가 직접 기관을 방문하여 총 270부의 설문지를 배포 하였다. 수집한 자료는 일반적인 특성에 따른 심폐소생술 관련 지식수준을 파악하기 위해 T-Test 와 one-way ANOVA를 이용하였으며, 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다 1. 심폐소생술 지식관련 수준조사에서 총점 8점 만점에 평균 3.72점으로 학생들의 지식수준이 낮았다. 2. 심장질환 가족력이 있는 대상자가 심장질환 가족력이 없는 대상자보다 심폐소생술 지식이 더 높았다(t=5.725, P<0.05). 3. 심폐소생술의 인공호흡, 상복부 압박 시 손의 위치는 93.0%, 73.8% 높은 정답률을 보인 반면, 의식확인, 호흡확인, 기도유지, 심장 마비 후 뇌손상 시간은 8.2%, 28.9%, 25.4%, 49.2%로 낮은 정답률을 보였다. 4. 심폐소생술을 목격한 것은 TV(55.2%) 이었으며, 그 다음이 인터넷(20.1%)이였다. 5. 심폐소생술 교육을 받은 경험이 없는 대상자는 60.2%였다. 6. 심폐소생술의 필요성을 느끼고 있는 대상자는 90.0%이상이었으며, 대부분의 학생들이 중, 고등학교에서(62.9%) 교육받길 원하고 있었으며, 심폐소생술 교육기관으로는 학교 또는 전문교육기관에서 교육받길 희망하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 치위생과 학생들의 심폐소생술 교육지식은 낮은데 비해 교육의 필요성과 참여의지는 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이에 치위생과 학생들에게 적절한 심폐소생술 교육이 이루어진다면 교육의 효과는 매우 높을 것이라 사료된다.

남성 Vest의 기원과 변천과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Origin and the Developing Process of Vest for Men)

  • Vest is a general term for a sleeveless upper garment and it derives from a kolobus of a sleeveless tunic style that was started to be worn as a substitution of a chiton by the peasantry in Greek period. The kolobus started to be called a colobium or a tunica from Roman period and the former was named for a vest style tunica which was worn by the people of the lower classes in early Roman period. Similarly, a German colobium of North Europe which was worn during the same period was the same kind of clothe as the Roman colobium. The colobium came to be worn over a dalmatica as an outer garment by early Christians when it was the Middle Ages, who succeeded the tradition of colobium as they went through ancient Rome, Creek and Byzantine days. North Germans also succeeded the colobium tradition of ancient Germans as it was and so continued to wear it in tight style. The simple vest style of colobium was getting vanished from the mid of the Middle Agnes and a new style of vest named jupon was started to be worn by soldiers. The jupon was to protect soldiers' bodies from either were cold weather or enemies wearing under armors as it was made with double cotton pad by quilt. From 14th century, the jupon began to be worn by not only soldiers but also the humble of lower classes. All the jupon which were made in quilting and padding of that time began to be named a pourpoint by the humble. When Renaissance in 16th century came, the pourpoint began to be developed to an exaggerating body-line style. The neckline of pourpoint was getting highly influenced by Spain and a peacecod-belly of it emphasized the exaggerated masculine beauty of Renaissance by padding in round. The sleeves were puffed out and the whole purpoint was made to expose an inner chemise by slashing vertically or obliquely. But in 17th century, the pourpoint has been changed into more simple style without padding, puffing out and slashing influenced by the citizens' clothes of Netherlands. The pourpoint came to be more comfortable bulky style with short sleeves or sleeveless and straight side lines. The pourpoint in mid 17th century turned to be a bolero jacket style by gradually being tightened. It had been then changed into a vest style with sleeves and worn under an overcoat with the name of vest in the end of 17th century. The early vest was 2∼3 inches les in length than the overcoat and had long sleeves and many ornamental buttons on front. It was also made as a home wear to be worn it alone at home. In 18th century, the length of the vest became shorter compared with that of 17th century and the most important decorative item in clothes. It again came to have complete sleeveless vest style and had very short length reaching waist in the end of 18th century. When it was in 19th century, the vest had developed into more various style and colors and style had been applied to be worn by individuals with their tastes. Around the end of 19th century, the increasing tendency to be casual by industrialization influenced on clothes in all aspects of life and so the male vest has been gradually changed into more casual style. Nowadays, it has been developing into various uses in modern male clothes to show their characters.

대규모 GM포장에서 형질전환벼의 유전적 안전성 비교 (Comparison of the Genetic Safety of Transgenic Rice in a Large-scale Field Study)

  • 이 연구는 GM 벼와 모품종인 '낙동' 및 일반품종을 대조구로 작물학적인 생육특성 및 재배환경에 대한 미립의 특성, 시험구 잡초를 대상으로 우점잡초종의 빈도와 유전자 전이 정도를 2009년에서 2011년까지 조사하였다. 작물학적인 생육특성에서 GM 벼와 모품종인 '낙동'은 간장, 수장, 수수의 초형은 년차간 차이가 났지만 유의성은 없었다. 미립 특성에서 GM 벼와 모품종인 '낙동'은 미립의 길이, 폭, 두께 및 천립중은 차이를 보이지 않았다. 미립의 화학적인 특성분석에서 모품종인 낙동에 비해 GM 벼가 저아밀로스이며, 재배환경에서 두 시험구의 미립이 GM 필드보다 온실의 미립이 저아밀로스 양상을 보였다. GM 시험구내 미립의 배유 종피색 달관조사에서 GM 벼의 카로티노이드 색상인 노란 종피색은 세대가 진전되어도 안정적으로 고정되었지만, GM 온실에서 재배된 GM 벼 미립은 심복백 비율이 높아져 미립의 투명도 차이가 있었다. 농생태계에서 잡초 특성은 GM 시험구내 GM 벼와 모품종인 '낙동'은 각 년차별 우점 잡초종과 빈도는 또한 유사한 경향이었다. GM 시험구내 GM 벼와 모품종인 '낙동'의 우점 잡초군은 전 생육시기별, 년차별로 지속적으로 GM 벼와 경합하는 양상이었다. GM 필드의 우점 잡초종의 유전자 전이 정도를 PCR 분석한 결과 우점 잡초종에 증폭이 되지 않아 유전자 전이 발생 양상은 나타나지 않았다.

Inter-Rater Reliability of Abdominal Muscles Thickness Using Ultrasonography for Different Probe Locations and Thickness Measurement Techniques

  • Ultrasonography (US) is a recent technique that has proven to be useful for assessing muscle thickness and guiding the rehabilitation decision-making of clinicians and researchers. The purpose of this study was to determine the inter-rater reliability of the US measurement of transversus abdominis (TrA), internal oblique (IO), and external oblique (EO) thicknesses for different probe locations and measurement techniques. Twenty healthy volunteers were recruited in this study. Muscle thicknesses of the transversus TrA, IO, and EO were measured three times in the hook-lying position. The three different probe locations were as follows: 1) Probe location 1 (PL1) was below the rib cage in direct vertical alignment with the anterior superior iliac spine (ASIS). 2) Probe location 2 (PL2) was halfway between the ASIS and the ribcage along the mid-axillary line. 3) Probe location 3 (PL3) was halfway between the iliac crest and the inferior angle of the rib cage, with adjustment to ensure the medial edge of the TrA. The two different techniques of thickness measurement from the captured images were as follows: 1) Muscle thickness was measured in the middle of the muscle belly, which was centered within the captured image (technique A; TA). 2) Muscle thickness was measured along a horizontal reference line located 2 cm apart from the medial edge of the TrA in the captured image (technique B; TB). The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC [3,k]) was used to calculate the inter-rater reliability of the thickness measurement of TrA, IO and EO using the values from both the first and second examiner. In all three muscles, moderate to excellent reliability was found for all conditions (probe locations and measurement techniques) (ICC=.70~.97). In the PL1-TA condition, inter-rater reliability in the three muscle thicknesses was good to excellent (ICC=.85~.96). The reliability of all measurement conditions was excellent in IO (ICC=.95~.97). Therefore, the findings of this study suggest that TA can be applied to PL1 by clinicians and researchers in order to measure the thickness of abdominal muscles.

규산 시용이 미입의 품질에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Silicate Application on Rice Grain Quality)

  • 규산시용 유무에 따라 생산된 미질을 평가하기 위하여 평택통 미사질양토(배수가 약간 불량한 보통답) 조건인 영남농업시험장 동일비료 장기 연용 시험구(29년차)의 비료 3요소구, 3요소+규산시용구, 3요소+퇴비시용구에서 1995년도 생산된 화남벼의 미립에 대한 등숙색택, 미립의 외관 및 미질 관련 특성을 분석 한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 규산시용구에서는 정조의 백도치가 높고 선황색으로 색도가 높아 등숙색택이 좋아졌으며 반점립과 그을름립비율이 낮아졌다. 2. 규산시용으로 현미 중 피해립, 청미 및 변색립율이 떨어져 완전미율이 6.1∼7.5% 증가되었고 백미 중 완전미율도 1.8∼3.5% 증가되었으며 심ㆍ복백미율도 낮았다. 3. 규산시용으로 아밀로스 함량, 단백질 함량 및 요드정색도는 낮아졌고 아밀로그램의 최고점도, Breakdown및 식미품질분석계에 의한 식미치는 높아져서 식미를 향상시키는 요인으로 작용되었다.

유해자극에 의한 개구반사와 말초신경 흥분전도에 미치는 건간과 세신 추출물의 영향 (EFFECT OF ZINGIBERIS RHIZOMA AND ASIASARI RADIX EXTRACTS ON THE JAW OPENING REFLEX PROVOKED BY NOXIOUS STIMULI AND THE PERIPHERAL NERVE CONDUCTION)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of herbal organic extracts on the pain response provoked by noxious stimuli on dental nerve and the peripheral nerve conduction. Cats (2-2.5Kg regardless of sex) that were chosen as experimental animals were classified into control group, Asiasari radix application group and Zingiberis rhizoma application group. They were anesthetized with ${\alpha}$-chloralose, then anterior belly of digastric muscle of both sides were exposed and wire electrodes were inserted for recording of Electromyogram (EMG). Cavities were prepared on canines until pulp of the teeth were exposed. And after the drugs solubilized for 2% and 4% concentration (W/V) in vehicle were applied, their effects were compared through the recording of EMG immediately after drug application, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 120 minutes and 5 days after, respectively. And after both inferior alveolar nerves were exposed, 4% organic extracts of Zingiberis rhizoma and Asiasari radix were applied for 30 minutes then the change of jaw opening reflex provoked by noxious stimuli on pulpal nerves were observed immediately after washing out, at 30, 60 and 90 minutes after drug had been washed out. After saphenous nerve of both sides were exposed, one side of nerve was used for vehicle application and the other side was used for drug application for 30 minutes. Then conduction of action potential of A-${\delta}$ and C-fiders of saphenous nerves, which have changed with time, was recorded. With analysis of these records, the following results were obtained: 1. Organic extract of Zingiberis rhizoma (2% or 4% concentration) greatly suppressed EMG of digastric muscle provoked by noxious stimuli on pulpal nerve at five days after application, the suppressive: effect was greater than that of organic extract of Asiasari radix. 2. Organic extract of Asiasari radix (2% or 4% concentration) suppressed jaw opening reflex provoked by noxious stimuli on pulpal nerve, at 5 days after drug application. 3. Organic extract of Zingiberis rhizoma and Asiasari radix (immediately after 30 minutes application) suppressed neural conduction of A-${\delta}$ and C-fibers, the suppressive effect was greater on A-${\delta}$ fibers than on C-fibers. 4. Jaw opening reflex provoked by noxious stimuli on pulpal nerve in inferior alveolar nerve was greatly suppressed 30 minutes after drug application, this effect was greater by Zingiberis rhizoma than by Asiasari radix.

도인안교(導引按蹻) 중 안교법(按蹻法)에 대해 - 의료기공 원리에 근거한 휘담식 수기요법 (A Study on the Angyo Method of Doin Angyo - Whidam's Su-Gi Therapy Based on the Principles of Medical Gigong)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to understand a medical Gigong's view of the human body through the analysis of medical Gigong techniques, and to understand the concept and treatment principle of Whidam's Su-Gi therapy as the Angyo(按蹻) Method of Doin Angyo(導引 按蹻) Methods : Among Medical Gigong, Sojucheon practice, Moosim-Gigong Riding stance, Moosim-Gigong Doinbeop, Hwalinsimbang Doinbeop and Donguibogam Jang-Bu Doinbeop were selected to analyze the practice method. The medical Gigong's views of the human body are organized into overviews and pathological perspective. The main concepts and clinical techniques of Whidam's Su-Gi therapy were summarized. Discussion : Understanding the principles of medical Gigong is necessary in order to understand the Angyo method of Doin Angyo. The principle of medical Gigong is to circulate around Three-Danjeon(丹田) on the human belly and Three-Gwan(關) on the human back by practicing medical Gigong, and to strengthen the life force by activating the viscera function by communicating between the limbs and the body. If there are Jeokchwi(積聚) and deviation, Whidam's Su-Gi therapy eliminates the Jeokchwi and adjusts the deviation. Conclusions : 1. The Angyo method of Doin Angyo originates from the practice of training to establish Danjeon for the right body and the right flow of air. 2. The principles of medical Gigong obtained through the analysis of Sojucheon(小周天) practice, Moosim-Gigong Riding stance, Moosim-Gigong Doinbeop, Hwalinsimbang Doinbeop and Donguibogam Jang-Bu Doinbeop are the medical Gigong's view of the human body and pathological perspective. 3. Whidam's Su-Gi therapy, which focuses on the elimination of Jeokchwi and the adjustment of deviation based on the medical Gigong's view of the human body, is a manual therapy that inherits the principle of the Angyo Method of Doin Angyo.

염화비닐 랩 필름으로 포장된 다양한 식품 및 요리류의 노출 조건에 따른 di-(2-ethylhexyl) adipate의 이행량 분석 (Determination of Di-(2-Ethylhexyl) Adipate Migrated from Polyvinyl Chloride Wrap Film into Various Foodstuffs and Dishes Depending on Exposure Conditions)

  • PVC 랩 필름으로 포장된 다양한 국내 식품과 요리의 저장 중 또는 전자렌지에서 데우는 과정 중 이행된 DEHA를 분석하고 이행량에 대하여 조사하였다. Acetone/n-hexane을 이행 실험의 추출 용매로 사용하였다. 지방이 많은 식품에 이행된 DEHA는 GPC를 이용하여 분리 추출 후 분석되었다. 식품에서의 DEHA의 회수율은 $81.3{\sim}91.2%$로 양호한 수준을 나타냈다. 조사된 일반 저장 식품 중 삼겹살에서 22.9 mg/kg으로 가장 높은 DEHA의 이행량을 보였다. 일반적으로 식품의 지방 함량이 높고 저장 기간이 길수록, 또는 저장 온도가 높은 경우 DEHA의 이행량이 증가되는 경향을 보였다. 여러 가지 배달되는 식품으로 이행된 DEHA의 양은 $6.9{\sim}29.8\;mg/kg$이었는데 이 중 지방 함량이 가장 높은 짬뽕으로 가장 높은 이행량을 보였다. 전자렌지로 가열시 랩 필름이 접촉된 경우 쌀밥과 감자에서는 DEHA가 불검출되었으나 피자에서는 158.8 mg/kg까지 매우 높은 양이 검출되었다. 랩 필름을 식품과 간격을 두고 덮었을 경우에는 접촉시켰을 때보다 낮은 이행량을 나타내었다. 조사된 많은 시료에서 DEHA의 이행량이 유럽 기준치를 초과한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 PVC 랩에서의 DEHA의 이행량을 줄이기 위한 다양한 기술적 개선이 이루어져야 할 것으로 판단된다.
