Objective: This case was to report a case of Partial Tear of Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex treated by Intra-articular bee venom Pharmacopuncture. Methods: The patient was treated by Intra-articular bee venom Pharmacopuncture. The Effect of Treatment was evaluated by Visual Analog Scale(VAS) and Modified Mayo Wrist Score(Wrist Score). Results & Conclusions: After Treatment, Patient's VAS decreased and Wrist Score increased. For this results, Intra-articular Bee Venom Pharmacopuncture may be effective for Partial Tear of Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex.

Objectives: This study aims to report the effects of Korean medicine treatment by pattern identification and Sweet Bee Venom Pharmacopuncture on Chronic Relapsing Cystitis Methods: The patients was treated with Korean medicine by pattern identification and Sweet Bee Venom Pharmacopuncture at Qugu (CV2), Guanyuan (CV4). We evaluated treatment effects by changes of symptoms and urine analysis (UA) finding. Results: After treatments, the clinical symptoms such as painful urination, dysuria, frequent urination were improved and the state of urinalysis was improved. Conclusions: This clinical study suggests that Korean medicine treatment by pattern identification and Sweet Bee Venom Pharmacopuncture are significantly effective in treatment of a Chronic Relapsing Cystitis

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy of Bee venom Pharmarcopuncture on facial palsy in Herpes Zoster otiucus. Methods : We used the acupuncture and Bee venom Pharmarcopuncture complex therapies on facial palsy in Herpes Zoster otiucus occurred in pregnancy. The improvement of the symptom and facial movement was evaluated by VAS and Yanagihara scale. Results & Conclusions : After treatment, both VAS and Yanagihara's scale were significantly improved. In this case, we found that the acupuncture and Bee venom Pharmarcopuncture complex therapy is effective for facial palsy in Herpes Zoster otiucus.

Objectives : This study was to evaluate the effect of Bee venom-Acupuncture on knee joint with osteoarthritis. Methods : We investigated 30 cases of patients with osteoarthritis of knee joint. We flip a coin and divide into two groups. Bee venom-acupuncture was performed at one group, and the other group didn't do it. We evaluated the treatment effect of each group by using the WOMAC score. Results : 1. As a result of evaluation by using the WOMAC, the score after treatment was marked higher than that before treatment within each group. 2. After treatment, Bee venom-Acupuncture group showed significant difference on WOMAC score compared with acupuncture group. Conclusion : These results suggested that Bee venom-Acupuncture treatment should be more effective in the patient with osteoarthritis of knee joint.

Objectives : This study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Bee Venom acupuncture therapy on chronic arthritis of ankle, Methods : We divided chronic arthritis of ankle patient into 2 group; one group combined bee venom acupuncture therapy and acupuncture therapy, another group was only acupuncture therapy. To estimate the efficacy of treatment that applied for two groups, we used visual analog scale(VAS). We compared the VAS score of two groups statistically. Results : 1. As a result of evaluation by using visual analog scale(VAS), treatment score at final was marked more higher than score before treatment on each groups. 2. treatment at final, acupuncture and bee venom acupuncture therapy group had significant result on visual analog scale(VAS) compared with acupuncture therapy group. Conclusion : Bee Venom acupuncture therapy can be used with acupuncture therapy for highly effective treatment for chronic arthritis of ankle.

Objectives : This study was to investigate the effectiveness of Bee Venom Pharmacopuncture therapy at Yepung($TE_{17}$) on peripheral facial paralysis. Methods : We investigated 36cases of patients with Peripheral Facial Paralysis, and devided patients into two groups : We treated one group by complex oriental medical treatment with Bee Venom Pharmacopuncture therapy at local point with Yepung(VY), and did the other group by complex oriental medical treatment with Bee Venom pharmacopuncture therapy at local point without Yepung(VL). To evaluate the effectiveness of treatment applied for two groups, we used Gross Grading System of House-Brackmann(HB score), Yanagihara's Unweighed Grading System(Y score) at baseline and final. Results : 1. In VY and VL, compared with baseline, at final, HB score was significantly decreased and Y score was significantly increased. 2. At final, VY showed significant decrease on HB score and significant increase on Y score compared with VL. Conclusions : Bee Venom Pharmacopuncture therapy at Yepung can be available for relieving symptoms related with peripheral facial paralysis.

Objectives : This report was performed to evaluate the treatment of acupuncture Therapy. Bee venom acupuncture Therapy, Herbal medication and Moxibustion In Chronic lschial bursitis. Methods : We treated 1 case of chronic Ischial Bursitis with acupuncture therapy, Bee Venom Acupuncture therapy, herbal medication and Moxibustion Results : After 8 weeks of acupuncture Therapy. Bee venom acupuncture Therapy, Herbal medication and Moxibustion. a remarkable improvenment was made for Chronic lschial bursitis. The patient couldn't feel painful swelling over the center of the buttock and down the back of the leg. Conclusion : Acupuncture Therapy, Bee venom acupuncture Therapy, Herbal medication and Moxibustion were effective In reducing the symptoms. We think that it need the further study and clinical trial for Chronic lschial bursitis.

Objective : Alopecia areata is a common disease and the difficulty of its medical management is well known. This study was designed to investigate the effect of bee venom and Carthami Flos herbal acupuncture. Method : The patient was managed by bee venom, carthami-flos herbal acupuncture and General acupunture. Herbal acupuncture was injected subcutaneously into the lesion. We checked involvement in plaque, according to evaluation of the effect on alopecia areata. Results : After 5 month of treatment, the lesion had been replaced with new terminal hair. Evaluation of the effect on alopecia areata The score changed from 0 to 3 point. Conclusion : These result suggest that bee venom and Carthami Flos herbal acupuncture has good effect on alopecia areata. But further studies are required to concretely prove the effectiveness of bee venom and Carthmi Flos herbal acupuncture for treating alopecia areata.

Objectives : This study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Bee Venom acupuncture therapy on patients with cervical spondylosis. Methods: We investigated 29 cases of patients with cervical spondylosis. We divided patients into two groups: Bee venom Acupuncture was performed at one group, and the other group we did acupuncture therapy. To evaluate the effectiveness of treatment applied for two groups, we used visual analog scale(VAS) and neck disability index(NDI). We compared the VAS and NDI score of two groups statistically. Results : As a result of evaluation by using visual analog scale(VAS) and neck disability index(NDI), treatment score at final was significantly different from that at the baseline in each groups. Treatment at final, Bee venom acupuncture therapy group showed significant difference on visual analog scale(VAS) and neck disability index(NDI) compared with acupuncture therapy group. Conclusions : Bee Venom acupuncture therapy can be used with acupuncture therapy for highly effective in the patient with cervical spondylosis.

Objective : This experiment was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of Acupuncture, Bee Venom Acupuncture (BVA) and Bee Venom Herbal Acupuncture (BVHA) on post-stroke hemiplegic shoulder pain. Methods : 30 patients were randomly allocated into Acupuncture group, BVA group and BVHA group and was monitored weekly for 4 weeks; initial($T_0$), 1 week($T_1$), 2 weeks($T_2$), 3 weeks($T_3$) and 4 weeks($T_4$). Results : Visual analogue scale of shoulder pain showed significant decrease in BVA and BVHA groups compared to the Acupuncture group at T4 evaluation. Painless passive ROM of shoulder external rotation and Fugl-Meyer Motor Assessment of Upper Limb motor function showed significant increase in all groups. Modified Ashworth scale of the spasticity of upper limb showed no differences between the three groups. Conclusion : BVA & BVHA appears to be an effective in treating post-stroke hemiplegic shoulder pain. Further clinical studies must be done to obtain more concrete findings.
