신형상 U형 하이브리드 합성보의 휨성능에 대한 연구 (Study on the Flexible Strength of U-shape Hybrid Composite Beam)

  • 본 연구에서는 합성보의 특징을 활용하고, 일부 고강도강 적용이 가능한 단면을 개발하여 이에 대한 기초연구를 실시하였다. 본 논문은 그 첫 번째로 단위부재인 합성보의 휨성능을 실험을 통해 평가하였다. 실험결과를 통해 기존 합성보의 공칭강도 산정식 적용여부를 검토하였고, 각 구성부재를 주요변수로 하여 실험하였다. 실험결과 신형상 U형 합성보의 내력평가는 콘크리트 압축강도와 강재의 인장강도에 의한 우력모멘트로 소요모멘트에 저항하는 것으로 평가하는 것이 적합하며, 보 춤 및 강판 두께에 비례하여 내력이 안정적으로 증가하였으며, 연성거동을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

Efficient Beam-Training Technique for Millimeter-Wave Cellular Communications

  • In this paper, a beam ID preamble (BIDP) technique, where a beam ID is transmitted in the physical layer, is proposed for efficient beam training in millimeter-wave cellular communication systems. To facilitate beam ID detection in a multicell environment with multiple beams, a BIDP is designed such that a beam ID is mapped onto a Zadoff-Chu sequence in association with its cell ID. By analyzing the correlation property of the BIDP, it is shown that multiple beams can be transmitted simultaneously with the proposed technique with minimal interbeam interference in a multicell environment, where beams have different time delays due to propagation delay or multipath channel delay. Through simulation with a spatial channel model, it is shown that the best beam pairs can be found with a significantly reduced processing time of beam training in the proposed technique.

유한요소법을 이용한 하이드로포밍 알루미늄 범퍼빔의 성형공정 최적화 (Optimization of the Hydro-Forming Process for Aluminum Bumper Beams by Using Finite Element Analysis)

  • Hydro-forming is being employed increasingly to realize lightweight vehicular parts. The bumper beam produced by this process weighs 30% less than the conventional products with equal stiffness. However, hydro-forming involves complex parameters to obtain the target geometry and low residual stress. Parametric studies are conducted using finite element analysis to obtain optimized process conditions. Through these numerical approaches, the internal and holding pressures and feeder forward stroke along the extruded direction are optimized to achieve low residual stress and to minimize springback. The numerical results are verified by experimental observations made by employing a three-dimensional laser scanner. The numerical and experimental results are compared in terms of the springback. Both results show similar tendencies.

샌드위치 판재의 성형성을 고려한 차체 부품의 개발 (Development of Automotive Structural Part Considering the Formability of Sandwich Panel)

  • Sandwich composite panel with high strength steel face can reduce the weight of the automotive structural parts. Unlike the parts in aerospace application, the automotive parts are made by the forming process for mass production. The CAE simulation can predict the failures caused by forces and deformation during the forming process. Since the material properties are very important factor for the simulation, we performed the tensile test to get the material properties. The inspections by the optical microscope at each strain level show the states of the polymer resin. The material properties measured by the tensile tests are used for the input data of simulation. The simulation predicts the forming process of the bumper back beam very exactly compared with the try out results.

유한요소해석을 이용한 박판 벤딩용 CO2 레이저 성형기 제작 (Production of CO2 Laser Forming Machine for Bending of Sheet Metal Using the FE-Analysis)

  • The laser forming process is a new flexible forming process without forming tools and external force, which is applied to various fields of industry. Especially, applications of the laser forming process focused on cutting, welding and marking process. In this paper, the laser bending process of sheet metal which is heated by laser beam and formed by internal stress is simulated by using thermo elastic-plastic analysis model. Based on the result of FE-analysis, the laser bending machine is made to obtain reliable data for sheet bending. Under the same condition as FE-analysis, the laser bending experiment has been performed to ver 펴 the result of FE-analysis and good agreement has been obtained between FE-analysis and experiments. Additional laser bending experiments have been performed to evaluate the laser bending machine.

최적 효율 무선 전력 전송을 위한 Magnetic Beam 형성 (Magnetic Beamforming for Optimum Efficiency Wireless Power Transfer)

  • 무선 전력 전송은 유선 전력 전송 보다 편리하지만 전송거리가 짧고 효율이 낮다. 또한, 여러 장치를 동시에 충전하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 무선 전력 전송의 전송 거리를 증가시키고 효율을 향상시키기 위해 다수의 송신코일을 이용해서 Magnetic Beam을 형성하는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 송신코일 전류와 수신코일 중심에서의 자속밀도 사이의 관계를 모델링하고, 의사역행렬(Pseudoinverse)의 특성을 이용해 최적의 송신코일 전류를 계산한다. 마지막으로 Simulation을 통해 제안한 방법의 타당성을 검증한다.

OPTIMAL PROCESSING AND SYSTEM MANUFACTURING OF A LASER WELDED TUBE FOR AN AUTOMOBILE BUMPER BEAM

  • A study has been conducted for an optimal processing and an apparatus for manufacturing a laser welded tube for one-body formed bumper beam. The tube dimensions used in calculation were the thickness of 1.4 mm, the diameter of 105.4 mm and the length of 2000 mm. The tube was formed of a cold rolled high strength steel plate(tensile strength of 600 MPa). The two-roll bending method was the optimal tube forming process in comparison with the UO-bending method, the bending method on the press brake, the multi-step continuous roll-forming method and the 3-roll bending method. Monitoring of the welding quality was conducted and the seam tracking along the butt-joint lengthwise to the tube axis was also examined. The longitudinal butt-joint was welded by using a $CO_2$ laser welding machine equipped with a seam tracker and a plasma sensor. The $CO_2$ laser tube welding machine could be used for precise seam tracking and real-time monitoring of the welding quality. As a result, the developed laser welded tube could be used for a one-body formed automobile bumper beam.
