일 농촌지역 노인의 사회적 지지와 삶의 질 (Social Support and Quality of Life for the Elderly in Rural Areas)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the amount of social support and quality of life perceived by elderly people in rural areas and to examine the relationship between social support and quality of life in an effort to provide the basic data for effective nursing intervention to enhance quality of life among elderly people. Data were collected from a sample of 220 elderly people aged over 60 from a stratified probability method from one rural area in South Jeolla province from Aug. 15 to Sep. 15, 2002. For data collection, pre-educated researchers visited the participants' homes and surveyed them face-to-face. The statistical analysis was performed using the SAS program along with t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson Correlation. The findings were as follows: 1. The most socially supportive people they answered were Spouses (57.28%), followed by children, friends/neighbors, in descending order. In terms of satisfaction about social support, the subjects felt the most satisfaction from spouses, followed by friends/neighbors, children, in descending order. 2. The participants' perceived social support was 26.0 and the highest score was 108.0 out of 125. Also, the average score and average grade point was 81.7 and 3.35, respectively. A comparison of the average grade points per items within sub-areas of social support revealed financial aid(3.56), informative support(3.34), emotional support (3.27), and evaluation support(3.22). 3. Their perceived social support had statistically significant differences in terms of how much they earned (F=18.56, p= .00001) and whether they had family members living together (F=2.68, p= .0512), quality of life had statistically significant differences in terms of how much they earned (F=35.34, p= 0.00001). 4. The quality of life they perceived was the lowest score 47.0, the highest score 196.0, average score 145.7, and average grade points 3.28. A comparison of the average grade points per items within sub-areas of quality of life revealed neighbor relationships(3.97), self-esteem(3.49), family relationships(3.35), economic conditions 3.12), physical health (2.98), and psychological health(2.74). 5. The relationship between the amount of the subjects' social support and quality of life was significantly correlated (r=.696, p< .001). The findings revealed that social support for elderly people in rural areas was a greatly effective factor on their quality, of life. Also, it was shown that the larger the social support for the elderly, the greater the quality of life for them. Therefore, it is necessary to foster geriatric nurse specialists and develop nursing intervention programs connected with health care and social wellbeing in order to enhance the quality of life of elderly people in rural areas. Also, it is necessary to develop effective models for community and its applications, which will playa leading role for elderly people.

간호대학생의 코로나19 관련 지식 및 예방적 건강행위, 자기효능감, 불안, 지각된 스트레스와의 관계 (The Relationship between COVID-19 related Knowledge & Preventive Health Behavior, Self-Efficacy, Anxiety and Perceived Stress among Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 일 간호대학 재학생을 대상으로 코로나19 관련 지식 및 예방적 건강행위, 자기효능감, 불안, 지각된 스트레스 정도를 파악하고 이들 간의 상관관계를 규명하고자 한다. 본 연구의 자료수집은 서울시 소재 일 간호대학 재학생 133명을 대상으로 구글 온라인 설문지를 통해 2022년 4월 15일부터 2022년 5월 10일까지 실시하였고, SPSS/WIN 25.0을 활용하여 기술통계, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficients를 실시하였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 차이 분석 결과 예방적 건강행위는 코로나19 감염관리 교육의 필요성 여부에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 자기효능감은 주관적 건강상태에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 대상자의 불안정도는 학년과 주관적 건강상태에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 지각된 스트레스는 주관적 건강상태에 따라 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 예방적 건강행위와 지식, 자기효능감, 불안, 지각된 스트레스간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 유의미한 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타났으나 자기효능감은 불안과 지각된 스트레스와 유의미한 부적 상관관계가 있으며 불안은 지각된 스트레스와 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과를 통해 코로나19 감염예방을 위한 교육 프로그램과 대책방안의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 본 연구는 비대면 학습환경에서 온라인 강의수강을 경험한 일 간호대학 재학생을 대상으로 학습몰입, 학습만족도, 학업적 자기효능감, 학업성취도 및 학업스트레스 정도를 확인하고 변수간의 상관관계 및 학업스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 서울시에 위치한 일 간호대학의 재학생 143명을 대상으로 구글온라인 설문지를 통해 2023년 9월 1일부터 2023년 9월 25일까지 자료수집을 시행하였고, SPSS Statistics 25.0을 활용하여 기술통계, t-검정, 일원분산분석, 피어슨상관계수, linear multiple regesion을 시행하였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 차이 분석 결과 학업스트레스는 간호학과 지원동기(F=4.465, p=.005)와 전공만족도(F=36.499, p=.000)에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났으며 학업스트레스는 학습몰입(r=-.464, p<.010), 학업적 자기효능감(r=-.522, p<.010), 학업성취도(r=-.379, p<.010)간에 유의미한 부적(-) 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으나 학습만족도는 학업스트레스와 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 학업스트레스에 영향을 미치는 변인은 전공만족도(𝛽=.367, p<.01), 학습몰입(𝛽=-.186, p<.05), 학업적 자기효능감(𝛽=-.241, p<.05)으로 확인되었으며 학업스트레스에 대한 설명력은 40%였다. 본 연구결과는 간호대학생의 학업스트레스 완화를 위한 중재 프로그램의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

Involvement of adaptor protein, phosphotyrosine interacting with PH domain and leucine zipper 1 in diallyl trisulfide-induced cytotoxicity in hepatocellular carcinoma cells

  • It has been demonstrated that APPL1 (adaptor protein, phosphotyrosine interacting with PH domain and leucine zipper 1) is involved in the regulation of several growth-related signaling pathways and thus closely associated with the development and progression of some cancers. Diallyl trisulfide (DAT), a garlic-derived bioactive compound, exerts selective cytotoxicity to various human cancer cells through interfering with pro-survival signaling pathways. However, whether and how DAT affects survival of human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells remain unclear. Herein, we tested the hypothesis of the involvement of APPL1 in DAT-induced cytotoxicity in HCC HepG2 cells. We found that Lys 63 (K63)-linked polyubiquitination of APPL1 was significantly decreased whereas phosphorylation of APPL1 at serine residues remained unchanged in DAT-treated HepG2 cells. Compared with wild-type APPL1, overexpression of APPL1 K63R mutant dramatically increased cell apoptosis and mitigated cell survival, along with a reduction of phosphorylation of STAT3, Akt, and Erk1/2. In addition, DAT administration markedly reduced protein levels of intracellular TNF receptor-associated factor 6 (TRAF6). Genetic inhibition of TRAF6 decreased K63-linked polyubiquitination of APPL1. Moreover, the cytotoxicity impacts of DAT on HepG2 cells were greatly attenuated by overexpression of wild-type APPL1. Taken together, these results suggest that APPL1 polyubiquitination probably mediates the inhibitory effects of DAT on survival of HepG2 cells by modulating STAT3, Akt, and Erk1/2 pathways.

방사선학과 전공 학생들의 법의학에 대한 인식과 교육 요구도 조사 (A Survey of Radiologic Science Students' Awareness and Educational Needs of Forensic Medicine)

  • 국내 경제 및 과학의 발전으로 인하여 국민의 생활 수준은 높아졌다. 그에 따라 생명의 질 향상을 원한다. 즉, 인권을 보장하고 인간으로서 존엄과 가치를 추구한다. 그러므로 의학계는 인간의 생명을 연장하며, 건강한 삶을 유지하기 위해 도움을 준다. 인권을 수호하는 사회의학은 법의학이다. 법의학은 법의방사선학 영상으로 사망자 식별 및 원인을 분석한다. 법의방사선학은 방사선사가 의료영상을 획득하여 제공하는 것이다. 그러므로 방사선사는 법의학 관련 교과목을 이수하여 전문성을 가져야 한다. 최근 의과대학 및 간호대학에서는 의과대학 및 간호대학에서는 법의학, 법의간호학 등 다양한 교과목을 개설하여 운영 중이다. 그러나 방사선학과는 법의학 관련 교과목을 개설한 학교가 단 하나뿐이다. 향후 방사선사 및 방사선학과의 발전과 모색을 위해서는 법의학 교육을 고려하여야 한다. 이를 위해 방사선학과 학부 및 대학원에 법의학 교육의 필요성과 요구도를 조사하였다. 방사선학과 재학생들의 법의학 인식도는 2.977점으로 나타났으나, 방사선사가 법의학 교육 필요성은 3.759점으로 높게 나타났다. 또한, 재학생들의 법의학 교과목 요구도는 84.1%로 높게 나타나 대다수가 개설 운영이 필요하다고 응답하였다. 본 연구는 방사선학과 학부 및 대학원 재학생들의 법의학 관련 교과목 요구도를 알 수 있었으며, 교육의 다양성과 전문성을 모색할 필요가 있다. 법의학 및 방사선학 발전에 기초자료로 활용되길 기대한다.

간호원의 환자교육 활동에 관한 연구 (Study of Patient Teaching in The Clinical Area)

  • Nursing of today has as one of its objectives the solving of problems related to human needs arising from the demands of a rapidly changing society. This nursing objective, I believe, can he attained by the appropriate application of scientific principles in the giving of comprehensive nursing care. Comprehensive nursing care may be defined as nursing care which meets all of the patient's needs. the needs of patients are said to fall into five broad categories: physical needs, psychological needs, environmental needs, socio-economic needs, and teaching needs. Most people who become ill have adjustment problems related to their new situation. Because patient teaching is one of the most important functions of professional nursing, the success of this teaching may be used as a gauge for evaluating comprehensive nursing care. This represents a challenge foe the future. A questionnaire consisting of 67 items was distributed to 200 professional nurses working ill direct patient care at Yonsei University Medical Center in Seoul, Korea. 160 (80,0%) nurses of the total sample returned completed questionnaires 81 (50.6%) nurses were graduates of 3 fear diploma courser 79 (49.4%) nurses were graduates of 4 year collegiate nursing schools in Korea 141 (88,1%) nurses had under 5 years of clinical experience in a medical center, while 19 (11.9%) nurses had more than 5years of clinical experience. Three hypotheses were tested: 1. “Nurses had high levels of concept and knowledge toward patient teaching”-This was demonstrated by the use of a statistical method, the mean average. 2. “Nurses graduating from collegiate programs and diploma school programs of nursing show differences in concepts and knowledge toward patient teaching”-This was demonstrated by a statistical method, the mean average, although the results showed little difference between the two groups. 3. “Nurses having different amounts of clinical experience showed differences in concepts and knowledge toward patient teaching”-This was demonstrated by the use of a statistical method, the mean average. 2. “Nurses graduating from collegiate programs and diploma school programs of nursing show differences in concepts and knowledge toward patient teaching”-This was demonstrated by a statistical method, the mean average, although the results showed little difference between the two groups. 3. “Nurses having different amounts of clinical experience showed differences in concepts and knowledge toward patient teaching”-This was demonstrated by the use of the T-test. Conclusions of this study are as follow: Before attempting the explanation, of the results, the questionnaire will he explained. The questionnaire contained 67 questions divided into 9 sections. These sections were: concept, content, time, prior preparation, method, purpose, condition, evaluation, and recommendations for patient teaching. 1. The nurse's concept of patient teaching: Most of the nurses had high levels of concepts and knowledge toward patient teaching. Though nursing service was task-centered at the turn of the century, the emphasis today is put on patient-centered nursing. But we find some of the nurses (39.4%) still are task-centered. After, patient teaching, only a few of the nurses (14.4%) checked this as “normal teaching.”It seems therefore that patient teaching is often done unconsciously. Accordingly it would he desirable to have correct concepts and knowledge of teaching taught in schools of nursing. 2. Contents of patient teaching: Most nurses (97.5%) had good information about content of patient teaching. They teach their patients during admission about their diseases, tests, treatments, and before discharge give nurses instruction about simple nursing care, personal hygiene, special diets, rest and sleep, elimination etc. 3. Time of patient teaching: Teaching can be accomplished even if there is no time set aside specifically for it. -a large part of the nurse's teaching can be done while she is giving nursing care. If she believes she has to wait for time free from other activities, she may miss many teaching opportunities. But generally proper time for patient teaching is in the midmorning or midafternoon since one and a half or two hours required. Nurses meet their patients in all stages of health: often tile patient is in a condition in which learning is impossible-pain, mental confusion, debilitation, loss of sensory perception, fear and anxiety-any of these conditions may preclude the possibility of successful teaching. 4. Prior preparation for patient teaching: The teaching aids, nurses use are charts (53.1%), periodicals (23.8%), and books (7.0%) Some of the respondents (28.1%) reported that they had had good preparation for the teaching which they were doing, others (27.5%) reported adequate preparation, and others (43.8%) reported that their preparation for teaching was inadequate. If nurses have advance preparation for normal teaching and are aware of their objectives in teaching patients, they can do effective teaching. 5. Method of patient teaching: The methods of individual patient teaching, the nurses in this study used, were conversation (55.6%) and individual discussion (19.2%) . And the methods of group patient teaching they used were demonstration (42.3%) and lecture (26.2%) They should also he prepared to use pamphlet and simple audio-visual aids for their teaching. 6. Purposes of patient teaching: The purposes of patient teaching is to help the patient recover completely, but the majority of the respondents (40.6%) don't know this. So it is necessary for them to understand correctly the purpose of patient teaching and nursing care. 7. Condition of patient teaching: The majority of respondents (75.0%) reported there were some troubles in teaching uncooperative patients. It would seem that the nurse's leaching would be improved if, in her preparation, she was given a better understanding of the patient and communication skills. The majority of respondents in the total group, felt teaching is their responsibility and they should teach their patient's family as well as the patient. The place for teaching is most often at the patient's bedside (95.6%) but the conference room (3.1%) is also used. It is important that privacy be provided in learning situations with involve personal matters. 8. Evaluation of patient teaching: The majority of respondents (76.3%,) felt leaching is a highly systematic and organized function requiring special preparation in a college or university, they have the idea that teaching is a continuous and ever-present activity of all people throughout their lives. The suggestion mentioned the most frequently for improving preparation was a course in patient teaching included in the basic nursing program. 9. Recommendations: 1) It is recommended, that in clinical nursing, patient teaching be emphasized. 2) It is recommended, that insertive education the concepts and purposes of patient teaching he renewed for all nurses. In addition to this new knowledge, methods and materials which can be applied to patient teaching should be given also. 3) It is recommended, in group patient teaching, we try to embark on team teaching.

대학생의 전공만족도와 부모의 진로지지가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Major satisfaction, Parents' career support on the Behavior of career preparation among University students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 전공만족도와 부모의 진로지지가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 대학생이 적극적인 진로준비행동을 할 수 있도록 교육과정편성과 비교과활동의 활성화를 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 시행하였다. 연구 대상자는 서울과 충청권 거주 대학생으로 2021년 4월 15일부터 5월 14일까지로 총 195부의 자료를 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, Multiple regression analysis로 최종 분석하였다. 연구결과는 경제수준, 전공계열, 전공선택동기, 성적, 전공만족도 및 부모의 진로지지를 예측변수로 진로준비행동을 설명하는 선형회귀모형은 통계적으로 유의하였고(F=16.944, p<.001), 회귀모형의 설명력은 진로준비행동 총 변화량의 50.5%를 설명하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 대학생들의 좀 더 능동적인 진로준비행동을 위하여 전공만족도를 높이고 긍정적인 부모의 진로지지를 위해 다양한 교육프로그램의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

스마트폰 사용자 특성에 따른 헬스케어 애플리케이션 만족도 차이 (Differences on Satisfaction of Healthcare Applications by Smartphone Users' Characteristics)

  • 본 연구는 스마트폰 사용자의 일반적 특성과 스마트폰 및 헬스케어 애플리케이션 이용 특성에 따른 헬스케어 애플리케이션의 인지도, 정보품질, 용이성 측면에서의 만족도 차이를 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 자료 수집은 2014년 9월 17일부터 21일까지 헬스케어 애플리케이션 사용 경험이 있는 193명을 대상으로 이루어졌으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 20.0을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, One-way ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis test로 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 일반적 특성 중 연령, 교육수준, 경제수준에 따라, 스마트폰 및 헬스케어 애플리케이션 이용 특성 중 스마트폰 운영체계, 스마트폰 사용기간, 설치된 헬스케어 애플리케이션 수 및 주요 정보 출처, 사용 빈도와 사용하지 않는 이유에 따라 헬스케어 애플리케이션 만족도는 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 모바일 헬스케어의 효과적 확산과 헬스케어 애플리케이션의 개발 및 배포 전략을 수립하기 위해서는 스마트폰 이용자의 특성과 요구를 확인하고 이를 반영해야 한다. 또한 개발된 헬스케어 애플리케이션의 지속적인 이용을 위해서는 사용자의 이용 동기를 지속적으로 유발하고 만족도를 향상시킬 수 있는 다양한 전략들이 함께 적용되어야 한다.

대학생의 외모 관련 사회문화적 태도 및 사회적 압박감, 스트레스가 신체상 불일치에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Sociocultural Attitudes toward Appearance, Social Pressure and Stress on University Students' Body Figure Discrepancy)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 외모 관련 사회문화적 태도와 사회적 압박감, 스트레스가 신체상 불일치에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위함이다. 연구 대상자로 C시와 A시 4년제 대학에 다니는 대학생 363명을 표집하였다. 구조화된 자가보고 설문지를 통해 2016년 10월 27일부터 12월 9일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료분석을 위해 SPSS 20.0 통계 프로그램의 기술 통계 및 상관 분석, 다중 회귀분석을 적용하였다. 연구결과에서 신체상 불일치 정도는 여학생의 외모 관련 사회문화적 태도(r=.406, p=.006), 친구에 의한 압박감(r=.197, p<.001), 부모에 의한 압박감(r=.176, p=.002), 스트레스(r=.218, p<.001)와 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 신체상 불일치는 친구에 의한 압박감(${\beta}=.159$, p=.007), 스트레스(${\beta}=.186$, p=.002), BMI(${\beta}=.186$, p=.002)가 증가할수록 높게 나타났으며, 이 변수들은 대상자의 신체상 불일치에 대해 10.9%의 설명력을 보였다. 따라서 신체상 불일치를 줄이기 위해서는 대학생들이 건강 유지 목적으로 체중과 스트레스 관리를 할 수 있게 하고, 타인의 시선이나 평가로 인해 상처받지 않고, 긍정적인 자기 인식을 가질 수 있도록 하는 보건교육 및 건강증진 프로그램 개발이 요구된다.

통합교육을 받고 있는 일반학생과 학부모의 장애학생 수용태도 - 일반학생의 성과 학년에 따른 차이를 중심으로 - (The Acceptance Attitudes toward Students with Disabilities of Normal Students Getting Inclusive Education and Their Parents - Focused on Differences by Gender and Grade -)

  • This study aims at determining attitudes of elementary and middle school students getting inclusive education and their parents toward students with disabilities to provide basic data for desirable inclusive education. Questionnaires were given to 3 elementary schools and 2 middle schools and the participants were 117 elementary students, 288 middle students, 98 parents of elementary school students and 156 parents of middle school students. Three areas of attitude were observed the cognitive area, the affective-behavioral area, and the area of perceived effect on learning area. The data were analyzed using t-test and ANOVA. The results indicated as follows; First, there was no significant difference in attitude by gender. Second, middle school students had a more negative attitude toward the students with disabilities than elementary school students. Third, students had more positive attitudes than their parents toward students with disabilities when the affective-behavioral area was analyzed, whereas the opposite was true when the area of perceived effect on learning area was analyzed.
