The purpose of this study is the preliminary inequality experiment study of control group to confirm the effects of convergence education by jigsaw model and flipped learning in nursing students. The subjects of this study were 81 students who participated in Integrated Practice II of the 3rd grade of Nursing Science in J area and data were collected using the questionnaire before and after the convergence education. As a result of the study, it was found that convergence education by jigsaw model and flipped learning was significant in learning satisfaction(t=-3.783, p=.001). Therefore, convergence education by jigsaw model and flipped learning as a teaching and learning method is expected to improve the learning satisfaction and maximize the learning outcome, so this study is meaningful as the basic data itself. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop and apply the teaching - learning program that combines jigsaw model with flipped learning.

Purpose: This study used a descriptive investigative design to identify educational needs for developmental supportive care for the purpose of establishing a developmental supportive care education program for nurses in neonatal intensive care units. Methods: A survey was conducted on 93 nurses working in neonatal intensive care units located in a metropolitan area, and the collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired t-test with the SPSS 25.0 program. For the purpose of analyzing educational needs, we further analyzed data through an importance-performance analysis (IPA) and the Borich needs assessment and the locus for focus models. Results: The average importance of the developmental supportive care of nurses in neonatal intensive care units was 3.74±0.78 out of 5, and the average performance was 3.46±0.81 out of 5. A t-test on the difference between the IPA and Borich needs assessment showed the highest educational need in the categories of 'individualized care', and 'I serve on the Developmental Care Committee at my institution'. In addition, according to the results of deriving the priorities of educational needs using the Borich needs assessment and the locus for focus model, the highest priority was 'I provide appropriate pain management when noxious procedures are necessary'. Conclusion: These findings can be used as basic data to design a developmental supportive care program suitable for nurses in neonatal intensive care units to meet the educational needs for developmental supportive care.
Purpose: To provide basic data to improve the practice environment of pediatric nurses by identifying their recognition of nursing professionalism and self-efficacy, and to examine the pediatric nurse parent partnership. Methods: Participants in the study were 165 nurses with 6 months of work experience in a university children's hospital in Seoul. Data were collected using a self-report questionnaire. Research tools measuring nursing professionalism, self-efficacy, and pediatric nurse parent partnership were used. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS PASW statistics 19.0. Results: There were statistically significant positive correlations for nursing professionalism and self-efficacy (r=.359, p<.001), nursing professionalism and the pediatric nurse parent partnership (r=.487, p<.001), and self-efficacy and the pediatric nurse parent partnership (r=.442, p<.001).According to the general characteristics of the participants, nurses who were married, practiced religion and had children tended to have higher nursing professionalism. Higher self-efficacy was exhibited by nurses who were older, married and raising children and the pediatric nurse parent partnership tended to have higher scores for nurses who practiced religion and worked in a general ward. Conclusion: The findings indicate that higher nursing professionalism and self-efficacy result in a better pediatric nurse parent partnership which should improve the practice environment of pediatric patients.

Greater attention then ever before is now paid to close observation of the individual traits and aptitude of nursing students, so as to permit full development of individual capabilities, interests and propensities within the concept of "comprehensive human education. To determine the motivation of nursing students in choosing the profession and possible subsequent change or attitude and outlook in the course of under graduated studies, as a means of presenting a new practical approach in nursing training based on the concept of "comprehensive human education. " Problems of study 1. The environments of nursing training will impinge on individual nursing students with different psychological impacts from lower to upper classes of under graduated studies. 2. The campus life of nursing students has been judged as very constructive, not with-standing certain in adequacies in the available educational facilities and the shortages of teaching staff. 4. The achievement levels of nursing trainees varied greatly according to their respective educational environments as well as their school years. 5. Clear and definite distinctions were discernible between the two universities as regards certain aspects of this survey, while no signifiant difference was observed in other: a. Sophomores and seniors in both universities gave nearly identical answers to questions concerning (1) motivation in choosing nursing as a profession, and (2) the way of spending leisure hours. b. Both universities revealed similar respective differences between sophomores and seniors as regards the abilities of fulfilling academic requirements ill the basic subjects. c. Educational environments have been found to be somewhat superior in the "Y"university to those of the "K" university, particularly as regard general campus and dormitory conditions. d. The high degree of dissatisfaction with the faculty, found in both universities, was considered to be a consequence of the universal phenomenon of "brain drain" and the relative neglect of the "comprehensive approach"in education.
Background: Dementia is a condition in which a person who has been living a normal life suffers from various cognitive impairments in memory, words, and judgment that considerably disrupt daily life. The oral care ability and subjective oral status of elderly individuals with dementia are lower than those of a healthy person. The oral health care of individuals admitted to nursing homes inevitably falls to nursing assistants and nursing care staff. This study aimed to investigate the need for oral health management items of and to provide basic direction for the future of the Dementia National Responsibility System. Methods: Elders aged 65 years and over were selected from a comprehensive welfare center. A total of 155 questionnaires were analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of 15 items about general status, 9 items about recognition of the Dementia National Responsibility System, 5 items of the subjective recognition of oral health, and 6 items of the correlation between oral health and dementia. Results: Among our subjects, 71.0% answered that they did not know about the Dementia National Responsibility System, 78.7% answered that they think they need the system, and 81.9% think that they should add dental health items to the Dementia National Responsibility System. The response to the need for dementia national responsibility, oral health items in the Dementia National Responsibility System, and oral specialists all showed scores of >4 points. The need for the Dementia National Responsibility System, oral health items, and specialists were found. Conclusion: It is necessary to include oral health care items in the Dementia National Responsibility System so that elderly individuals with dementia can receive the needed oral health care.

This study is a descriptive research study to promote health behavior compliance and use it as basic data for the program development of nursing intervention by identifying the factors affecting middle-aged women's health behavior compliance. It was collected and analyzed 162 copies of the data for a total of 10 weeks from January 17 to March 28, 2022, targeting middle-aged women aged 50 to 59 living in D and B. As a result of the study, economic status(medium) had the highest impact on health behavior compliance, followed by economic status (low), self-efficacy, perceived health status, married status(married), and regular health checkup(yes). Therefore, it is needed promoting to get regular health checkups, increasing self-efficacy with financial support, and exploring the ways and the development of programs that can improve perceived health status in order to improve middle-aged women's health behavior compliance.
Purpose. This study was conducted to provide basic data on the subjective happiness index and identify factors influencing college professor and staff by describing their perception of general characteristics, health behavior, suicidal ideation, and subjective happiness index. Methods. A survey was conducted with 198 professor and staff who were working University on K city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression with SPSS window 18.0 program. Result. The Mean scores of Subjective happiness in college professor and staff was 4.66 on a scale of 7. There were significant differences on the subjective happiness Index for the followings: age, breakfast for 2 day, blood pressure (Lt systolic), health status index (EQ-VAS). There was a negative correlation between the subjective happiness Index and suicidal ideation. Factors influencing of subjective happiness in college professor and staff were identified as age (${\beta}=.201$), breakfast for 2 day (${\beta}=-.180$), blood pressure (Lt systolic) (${\beta}=-.244$), health status index (EQ-VAS) (${\beta}=.408$). These factors explained 35.1% of variance in subjective happiness in college professor and staff. Conclusion. Results indicate that factors influencing subjective happiness are suggesting the need to establish policies of health behavior. health behavior program for a life of happiness among college professor and staff.
Major pelvic ganglia (MPG) in rats are an unique autonomic ganglia, containing both sympathetic and parasympathetic neurons related with the function of bladder, penis and bowel. It has been widely known that ionotropic $GABA_A$ receptors are the molecular target of $\gamma$-aminobutric acid (GABA), a major inhibitory neurotransmitter in central nervous system. However, their functions and regulations of $GABA_A$ receptors expressed in autonomic ganglia have been poorly understood. 1 examined the modulatory role of adenylyl cyclase (AC) and protein kinase A(PKA) on $GABA_A$-induced inward currents in the neurons of rat MPG. $GABA_A$ receptors were identified using immunofluorescent labeling in the rat major pelvic ganglion. Electrophysiological experiments were performed to record the activities of $GABA_A$ receptors. $GABA_A$ receptors were expressed only in sympathetic neurons. GABA induced marked inward currents in a concentration-dependent manner. Mucimol ($5{\mu}M$), a $GABA_A$ receptor agonist induced inward currents were significantly reduced in the presence of SQ 225361 $20{\mu}M$, a AC inhibitor and myristoylated PKA inhibitor 100 nM. In addition, forskolin ($1{\mu}M$), AC activator, augmented the GABA induced currents. The activation of AC/PKA-dependent pathway could involve in the regulation $GABA_A$ receptors, expressed only in sympathetic neurons of rat MPG. These findings are helpful for the better understanding the function of various pelvic organs innervated by MPG.
Single screen-film systems have been used to soft tissue radiography, especially to mammo-graphy, for the Purpose of reducing patient dose, Recently, by the development of rare earth screens, they are being used to general radiography including stomach radiography. Single screen-film systems have lower speeds, but higher resolutions than double screen-film systems. And so, they can produce high image quality in oblique radiography and tomography. Authors have tested basic and physical characteristics of sigle screen-film systems, and applied them in clinical fields. Hereupon, we evaluate the sin91e rare earth screen-film systems very practicable, because they have higher speeds and higher image quality than double screen-film systems.
Recently, much attention has been paid to human retinoblastoma since it provide a good model system for studying mechanisms underlying cell growth, differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis, and for developing cancer therapy. However, until now it is unclear whether purinergic receptors are involved in the calcium mobilization in the retinoblastoma cells. In this regard, we measured possible purinergic signaling in WERI-Rb-1 cells using $Ca^{2+}$ imaging technique and RT-PCR method. ATP-induced $[Ca^{2+}]_i$ transients was maintained to about $90.7{\pm}1.0%$ of the control (n=48) even in the absence of extracellular calcium. The ATP-induced intracellular calcium response was only attained to $10.4{\pm}1.8%$ (n=55) of peak amplitude of the control after preincubation of 1 ${\mu}MU-73122$, a PLC inhibitor, but it was not affected by 1 ${\mu}MU-73343$, a inactive form of U-73122. And also ATP-induced $[Ca^{2+}]_i$ rise was almost attenuated by 20 ${\mu}M$ 2-APB, a putative $IP_3$ receptor inhibitor. Two subtypes of $IP_3$ receptor $(IP_{3-1}R,\;IP_{3-2}R)$ were identified by a RT-PCR method. These findings suggest that purinergic stimuli can cause calcium mobilization via $PLC-IP_3$ pathway after the activation of P2Y receptors in the retinoblastoma cells, which may play important roles in cell proliferation, differentiation, growth, and cell death.
