In this paper, we have developed base-calling error detection program and algorithm which show the list of the genes or sequences that are suspected to contain base-calling errors. Those programs detect dubious bases in a few aspects in the process of microbial genome project. The first module detects base-calling error from the Phrap file by using contig assembly information. The second module analyzes frame shift mutation if it is originated from real mutation or artifact. Finally, in the case that there is control microbial genome annotation information, the third module extracts and shows the candidate base-calling error list by comparative genome analysis method.
Many visualization tools have been designed to aid information processing during whole genome projects. We have developed a trace viewer program, ChroView, which can read a chromatogram file and display the chromatogram traces of the four bases. The program can be used to examine sequencing quality and base-calling errors. It can also help researchers to edit and save base-calling results while browsing the traces. Additionally, this program has a basecalling feature which can produce supplementary data for validation of the results from other base-calling programs.
In this Paper we consider the problem of sequence alignment with quality scores. DNA sequences produced by a base-calling program (as part of sequencing) have quality scores which represent the confidence level for individual bases. However, previous sequence alignment algorithms do not consider such quality scores. To solve sequence alignment with quality scores, we propose a measure of an alignment of two sequences with orality scores. We show that an optimal alignment in this measure can be found by dynamic programming.
To facilitate the implementation of a wide variety of context-aware applications based on mobile devices, general-purpose context-aware framework that applications can use by calling is needed. The context-aware framework is a middleware that performs the sensing, reasoning, and retrieving based on the knowledge base. The knowledge base must systematically represent the information required on the behavior of the context-aware framework, such as context information and reasoning information. It must also provide functions for storage and retrieval. To date, previous research on the representation of the context information have been carried out, but studies on the unified representation of the knowledge base has seen little progress. This study defines the knowledge base as the unified context information, and proposes the UniOWL, which can do a good job of representing it. UniOWL is based on OWL and represents the information that is necessary for the operation of the context-aware framework. Therefore, UniOWL greatly facilitates the implementation of the knowledge base on a context-aware framework.
Class I malocclusion is essentially a dental dysplasia. Rotations, individual tooth malpositions, missing teeth, tooth size discrepancies, etc., fall under this classification. There are two types of class I malocclusions. One is identified by and insufficient denture base to accommodate the teeth; the other has more denture base than tooth material, creating spaces in the arch. The tooth material-to denture base discrepancies may be slight, calling for only a little increase in arch length for alignment and the correction of minor rotations. Discrepancies may also be great, in which case it becomes necessary to reduce tooth material by extraction, so as to make the tooth material more in proportion to the size of the denture base. The author had attempted orthodontic treatment of a class I malocclusion case of 13-year old boy in which high canines and impacted mandibular second premolars were involved. The author obtained good results.
With the ongoing development of next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms and advancements in the latest bioinformatics tools at an unprecedented pace, the ultimate goal of sequencing the human genome for less than $1,000 can be feasible in the near future. The rapid technological advances in NGS have brought about increasing demands for statistical methods and bioinformatics tools for the analysis and management of NGS data. Even in the early stages of the commercial availability of NGS platforms, a large number of applications or tools already existed for analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing NGS data. However, the availability of this plethora of NGS data presents a significant challenge for storage, analyses, and data management. Intrinsically, the analysis of NGS data includes the alignment of sequence reads to a reference, base-calling, and/or polymorphism detection, de novo assembly from paired or unpaired reads, structural variant detection, and genome browsing. While the NGS technologies have allowed a massive increase in available raw sequence data, a number of new informatics challenges and difficulties must be addressed to improve the current state and fulfill the promise of genome research. This review aims to provide an overview of major NGS technologies and bioinformatics tools for NGS data analyses.

In this paper, high-quality business-type communications(UC) capabilities of the communication activities overlap, waste, reducing rework process improvement provides for high efficiency. Messages sent via UC app development, FMC calling features, schedule management organization for the development and deployment DataBase UC server deployment, the search for the JSP implementation, XMPP is using the messaging system. IP-PBX running on the IP network, on the basis of UC applications in real life, improve utilization of the infrastructure necessary to provide services to the system design and implementation.
Traditionally, Mobile Teletraffic model consists of two sub-models, i.e. the network traffic model and the traffic source model. In this paper, we present the traffic source model by developing MobCall(Mobile Call Simulator) which analyses various mobile wireless environments based on regional characteristics that the base stations are located. User mobility is presented by regional average vehicle speeds and the transportation share rate. Moreover, the user mobility on subway, which is increasing in urban area, is considered in MobCall. Using MobCall, the accumulated number of calls in residential and commercial regions, the handoff rate with respect to traffic sources of Seoul, the handoff rate on highway, and the handoff rate according to the call duration are presented. MobCall enables the simulation of dynamic handoff buffering and functional entity control of one base station according to the changes in user's calling pattern at the design phase.

Traditionally, Mobile Teletraffic model consists of two sub-models, i.e. the network traffic model and the traffic source model. In this paper, we present the traffic source model by developing MobCall (Mobile Call Simulator) which analyses various mobile wireless environments based on regional characteristics that the base stations are located. User mobility is presented by regional average vehicle speeds and the transportation share rate. Moreover, the user mobility on subway, which is increasing in urban area, is considered in MobCall. And also, user's movements on highway are considered in MobCall. The object-oriented simulation platform, C++SIM, is used to implement MobCall. Also, when a new town is under construction by a detailed plan, MobCall is used to design the mobile network with regional characteristics and user mobility considered.
In this paper, we propose the MDBMS(Multi-DataBase Management System) which integrates the LDBMSs(Local DataBase Systems) with heterogeneous environment into distributed system and provides global users with rapidly query process. For designing the MDBMS, we define the functions of components and design the interaction among them. In a point of view of the global view manager in components, we describe the following 3 cases; (1)the case which the results for the global query are all stored to the global view repository, (2)the case which no result exists in the global view repository, and (3)the case which the partial results we stored to the global view repository. By comparing above cases, we establish the functionalities of our MDBMS through the sequence diagram including the interlace of among objects and the method calling. Finally, we propose the model designed in the concrete by showing the executing procedures of each function using sample query on established functions mentioned above.
