Assume a company sells two products (a and B) in a retail market. the company adopts a specific promotion mechanism, Tie-in Promotion, in which product A's promotional discount coupon is distributed whenever a consumer purchases product B. Product A will later e sold at a markdown price when consumers eventually take the opportunity to redeem the coupon. in the integrated tie-in promotion and stocking policy, we assume managers of two products coordinate by sharing information on the demand forecast and deciding the order quantities and tie-in promotion program to maximize joint profits. The optimal integrated tie-in policy is analyzed. The integrated tie-in promotion model is then compared with two other base models: (1) a decentralized Newsboy model in which no promotion is considered, and (2) an individual promotion model in which managers design a promotion program to promote one of the two products directly. The factors that make an integrated tie-in promotion a better approach are studied.

The most desirable diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) should have the properties of oxidibing CO and HC effectively at low exhaust gas temperature while minimizing the formation of sulfate at high exhaust gas temperature. Precious metals such as platinum and palladium have been known to be sufficiently active for oxidizing CO and HC and also to have high activity for the oxidation of sulfur dioxide (SO2) to sulfor trioxide (SO3). There is a need to develop a highly selective catalyst which can promote the oxidation of CO and HC efficiently, but, on the other hand, suppress the oxidation of SO2. One approach to solve this problem is to load a base metal such as vanadium in Pt-based catalyst to suppress sulfate formation. In this study, a Pt-V catalyst was prepared by impregnating platinum and vanadium onto a Ti-Si wash coated catalyst in a laboratory reactor by changing the formulations and reaction temperatures.

The purposes of this study are 1) to identify the position and the problems of Home Economics in Elementary School, and 2) to propose orientation for the future curriculum revision. Elementary Home Economics, historically, has been partially practiced as a part of Practical Arts Education. As a results, the nature of Home Economics Education has been distorted and lacked the disciplinary consistency with Middle School Home Economics Education： the curriculum of Home Economics Education ignored the importance of the understanding family life as well as underscored the technical skills. The identified status and problems has on implication for the subject’s further development. The propositions for Elementary Home Economics Education which has the original intention, are as follows：(1) the curriculum of Practical Arts Education must be built on theorectical base and criteria. (2) the name of subject, Practical Arts Education, must be changed to [Technology$.$Home Economics]. (3) the contents of the subject must be practical which to promote motivations and interest of students.

We investigate the mechanism of $S_NAr$ fluorination reactions under the influence of protic solvents and ions. We find that counterion or protic solvent alone retards the $S_NAr$ reactions, but together they may promote the reaction. In this mechanism, the protic solvent acts on the counterion as a Lewis base, and the nucleophile reacts as an ion pair. We also show that an anion (mesylate) may exhibit catalytic effects, suggesting the role of ionic liquids for accelerating the $S_NAr$ reactions.

The welding residual stresses produced by welding frequently cause a crack and promote stress corrosion etc. in heat affected zone contained with external load and weakness of material. For the purpose pof relaxation of welding residual stress, post welding heat teratment(PWHT) is widely used. In this paper, the computer program which is based on Thermal-Elasto-plastic-creep theory for plane deformation on developed by finite element method (F.E.M) and verified its propriety by experimental measurement and also by using the developed computer program. The mechanical behavior of butt welding joint is clairfied during PWHT.

도서관마케팅은 이용자 만족의 극대화를 위해 이용자집단분석 및 요구분석을 하고, 그에 부응하는 도서관 상품 및 서비스를 개발하며, 이를 적극적으로 고객집단에게 알리기 위해 필요하다고 보며, 이러한 업무를 효과적으로 수행하기 위해서는 반드시 훌륭한 도서관마케팅전문사서가 필요하다고 본다. 이에 본 연구에서는 도서관마케팅전문사서에 대한 정의 및 그의 역할, 효과적인 도서관마케팅 전략을 기획하고 개발하기 위해 그들이 갖추어야 할 자질 및 역량, 그리고 이러한 마케팅전문사서를 양성하기 위한 방안까지 구체적으로 제시하고자 하였다.

In Traditional Oriental Medicine, there has been a growing needs for computerized diagnosis expert system, which can implement pre-diagnosis and correct the errors of practitioners. Therefore, we developed the expert system (KHU-PIPE : Kyung Hee University - Pattern Identification and Prescription Expert) for diagnosis and treatment. It has three characteristics as following. First. this system has the knowledge base which modified the standardized data designed by Chinese government during 1980s. Second, it provides the objective and standardized diagnosis as the results of pattern identification and their appropriate prescriptions for treatment. Third, it is applied to both LAN system and internet. Furthermore, it can be used as an educational methods for the practices of pattern identification and prescription, and provide the objective criteria for clinical studies and promote the Traditional Oriental Medicine as an evidence-based medicine.

With the development of the aviation industry in Korea, the number of aircrafts has increased every year. About 10 flight departments have been established at domestic universities, and flight training is conducted until the course of commercial pilot certificate. In addition, private aviation institutes using Muan airport as a base have also increased, and the number of training aircrafts in the eastern and western regions of Jeonnam region has increased dramatically. Along with an increase in the number of training aircrafts, aviation accidents have also increased. From April 2018 to September 2019, 11 accidents occurred at Muan airport and Yeosu airport. This study aims to develop a pre-flight safety protocol to promote flight training safety. Three aspects-including technical factors, human factors, and organizational factors-were considered in this study.

As demands and interests in visiting rural village increases, government authorities are promoting eco and green tour village development project through plural functions of rural village. The purpose of this study is to understand infrastructure improvement direction by researching the case study of general rural villages' changing to eco and green tourism villages. As for the research method, the character of each village was verified, then the case studies of improvement by life infrastructure using the identity of villages were analyzed. Finally, it was found that infrastructure through public facilities improvement and environment improvement project was expanded and relaxative and experiential space was offered by creating tour infrastructure using the identity of villages. Also, it was shown that farming infrastructure creating project was executed to promote the income base of locals.

Ginseng, a perennial plant belonging to the genus Panax of the Araliaceae family, is well known for its medicinal properties that help alleviate pathological symptoms, promote health, and prevent potential diseases. Among the active ingredients of ginseng are saponins, most of which are glycosides of triterpenoid aglycones. So far, numerous saponins have been reported as components of Panax ginseng, also known as Korean ginseng. Herein, we summarize available information about 112 saponins related to P. ginseng; >80 of them are isolated from raw or processed ginseng, and the others are acid/base hydrolysates, semisynthetic saponins, or metabolites.
