  • Recently Korea Army are developing the TICN(Tactical Information Communication Network) which is the next army tactical communication system. The TICN tactical backbone's ability is very important. So analysis of the standard protocol for the data transmission guarantee are obliged. For the TICN tactical backbone, previous paper analysed routing protocol efficiency index and compared to superiority of the OSPF and IS-IS protocols in the tactical environment. Conclusively IS-IS protocol was more suitable for TICN backbone routing protocol. As follow-up study of previous paper, this paper try to find the proper parameters of IS-IS protocol in order to improve the performance of IS-IS protocol as a TICN tactical backbone protocol under the tactical environments. Finally it selected four time-parameters of IS-IS protocol, those can improve performance of the protocol.

  • Trajectory prediction is an essential element for driving autonomous vehicles, and various trajectory prediction models have emerged with the development of deep learning technology. Convolutional neural network (CNN) is the most commonly used neural network architecture for extracting the features of visual images, and the latest models exhibit high performances. This study was conducted to identify an efficient CNN backbone model among the components of deep learning models for trajectory prediction. We changed the existing CNN backbone network of multiple-trajectory prediction models used as feature extractors to various state-of-the-art CNN models. The experiment was conducted using nuScenes, which is a dataset used for the development of autonomous vehicles. The results of each model were compared using frequently used evaluation metrics for trajectory prediction. Analyzing the impact of the backbone can improve the performance of the trajectory prediction task. Investigating the influence of the backbone on multiple deep learning models can be a future challenge.

  • Due to rapid developments of IT technologies, convergence services like IPTV (Internet protocol television) are shown up. Even though expert and customer had great expectations for this innovative service, commercialization was delayed for years by the legal dispute between industry players. One of the biggest problems was that whether internet backbone providers have to share their internet network backbone with IPTV service providers (which don't have network backbone) or not. As other countries, Korean government set the rules that ISP have to offer indiscriminate access to other IPTV service provider. At the same time, internet backbone providers can charge access charge based on cost by way of compensation. Thus access charge is very critical to the IPTV industry players. The objective of this paper is to provide model that can calculate the reasonable access charge by system dynamics, based upon real data in Korean telecommunication industry.

  • Replication Protein A (RPA) is the eukaryotic single-stranded DNA binding protein. It involves in DNA replication, repair, and damage response. Among three subunits, RPA70 has a protein-protein binding domain (RPA70N) at the N-terminal. It has known that the domain recruits several damage response proteins to the damaged site. Also, it is suggested that there are more candidates that interact with RPA70N. Even though several studies performed on the structural aspects of RPA70N and its ligand binding, the backbone assignments of RPA70N is not available in public. In this study, we present the backbone assignments of RPA70N.

  • As optical network technology advances, the Dense-Wavelength Division Multiplexing(DWDM) networks have been widely accepted as a promising approach to the Next Generation Optical Internet (NGOI) backbone networks. Especially. a fault/attack management scheme in NGOI backbone networks is one of the most important issues because a short service disruption in DWDM networks carrying extremely high data rates causes loss of vast traffic volumes. In this paper, we suggest a fault/attack management model for NGOI backbone networks and propose a fault/attack recovery procedure in IP/GMPLS over DWDM.

  • As the usage of the electric power train increases, the importance of the control network between the electric control devices grows. IEC proposed a revision of IEC-61375, a standard of the networking among electric devices within a train, to adopt Ethernet as a backbone of train network. This paper performed the reliability analysis of three configurations of Ethernet-based networking within a electric power train that are recommended in IEC-61375 standard. The analysis results show that MTTF(mean time to failure) of the redundant configuration is 20,086 hours, which is a about 3 times longer than the linear configuration.

  • This paper studies a series of logical topology reconfiguration processes corresponding to a series of traffic demand changes in a ship backbone network. The proposed reconfiguration technique is to minimize costly changes of traffic forwarding paths and minimize the average hop distance of traffic forwarding paths in terms of ship backbone network performance simultaneously. Performance evaluation is conducted to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed reconfiguration technique. It shows that the proposed reconfiguration technique yields efficient performance in the entire series of reconfiguration processes.

If the IER(Information Exchange Requirement) phases 3 of the future application system, the analysis that a transmission ability of the TICN is the uncapable is govern. The TICN tactical backbone's ability is very important. Therefore, network efficiency index in application and analysis of the standard protocol for the data transmission guarantee are obliged. For the TICN tactical backbone, this paper analyzes of routing protocol efficiency index and compares to superiority of the OSPF(v2) and integrated IS-IS protocols in the tactical environment. • In deuterium NMR spectra of phosphatidylethanolamine bilayers with an extremely high content of saturated fatty acids, each C1 deuteron of the glycerol backbone gave rise to a doublet. This suggests the presence of two backbone conformations, the exchange between which is slow on an NMR time scale. The origin of the two conformations has been investigated in this work using saturated 1,2-diacyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine specifically deuterated in the glycerol backbone. The results showed that the two conformations originate from different domains, which have different fatty acid compositions. The differential scanning calorimetry of the bilayers suggested that the size of the domain is not large enough to show an independent phase transition. Thus, the formation of microdomains in the phosphatidylethanolamine bilayers has been concluded. Conformational difference in different domains was shown to be restricted to the C1 position of the glycerol backbone. The microdomains of phosphatidylethanolamine were retained even in the presence of other phospholipids.
